My favorite band in elementary school, remember writing to them on MySpace and they always responded saying your an awesome fan and all that 😁😁😁😁 was so starstrucked
The lady in orange is trying to figure out why shes there. Such a shame i would have been pumped to see this in 04. Atleast saturday ill have the chance to see you guys for the 2nd time live.
This was one of my favorite bands growing up, and I still listen to three of their albums. I have Burnout 3: Takedown to thank for my love of punk rock and heat metal!
This album is so nostalgic to me I remember going to their shows and like hanging out with Brandon and then Back Ted ‘n Ted started up and I’m going to those shows at first Fridays. It was awesome, great song,I love this.
I listened to this back in 2005 while I was still in high school in China ~~ My friends in high school all think this is the best band for the time being ~~
I loved Lines in my Face. Pretty good album from top to bottom. I always wondered if these guys came along at the wrong time since rap rock was starting to fade around this year. They probably could’ve been a bit more popular
Completely different rap rock. They didn't fit into that genre at the time especially if you listen to the entire album. They never would have been "hard" enough. They are more alternative. This band was way ahead of its time. Listen to new bands on any modern rock radio station, and most sound like Chronic Future. Plus this band has been around since 1995 during the rap rock craze anyway.
@@Weezer2000 they’ve been around since 95 but I always put an asterisk on that because no one seems to really know what they did before their first length album. Same goes for Autopilot Off
It's a week before the 2020 election. Things could go crazy here soon. But here I am re discovering a band that I was aware of in 2004, but never gave a full listen. The album is absolute fire and I need a vinyl pressing!!!
I like to sit back and think about what happened to the random people in the video i'm watching. I think about the kid in the back with the red shirt headbanging towards the end of the song. That kid's gotta be almost thirty now, probably finished college, works some dead end job, has a wife, probably a kid or two. I think about all the things that change between now and this video snippet of that boys life and wonder if he's still the same person. More than likely nothing that mattered to him here matters to him now. He's probably sitting back and realizing the world around him is changing quickly and that the lines in his face grow deeper and more numerous as the days go on. He probably takes a step back to look at his parents. Back then they could have been incredibly strict or embarrassing. I bet now he knows them as people and friends instead of just his parents. They probably spend Sunday's together still. Something that faded a little after college when he would come home to have his mom do his laundry but picked up after he had his first kid. It turned from his sub-conscious desire to go back and relive sitting in his room watching Chronic Future, Brand New, and Taking Back Sunday on Fuse in his room after school to a way for his kids to know the love he felt growing up.
Don't know wtf a burnout is. All I know is this song got 15 year old me pumped up back in 05 every morning before I went to school to start selling candy in the gym. 😂
it's a racing video game for ps2 and Xbox by EA that had an amazing sound track. you ever want to relive a slice of 2005 look up Burnout 3 soundtrack. so many good bands from that era
I wouldn't be too hard on them. First of all this was clearly ripped from a TV or VHS so it's not going to be in 4k or anything. Also, the sound guy probably wasn't familiar enough with the sound they had to balance everything properly on what was probably the same day of this performance without a sound check I'm guessing, since that's how it worked for stuff like Fuse back then. And finally, musically there's a lot more to capturing the exact correct nuances of this song than it may seem, actually kind of impressive that it manages to be recognizable at all despite that.
@@matronthorn.official low quality audio doesn't make singers sound out of tune and sloppy lol. Just accept it's bad. Who knows what circumstances caused it because their other performances of this song are awesome
