The original Steph and Kevin
You prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know of a way to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Case Kyle instablaster =)
Its really a tragedy that these guys couldn't make it work. What a fantastic duo.
Such great Duos back then. Jordan/Pippen. Ewing/Starks. Mourning/Hardaway. Payton/Kemp. Stockton/Malone. Garnett/Marbury. Shaq/Kobe. list goes on and on.
Ewing and Starks LOL can't sniff the other guys on the list.
Comp
Penny/Shaq was fun too
Shawn kemp and gary payton got me dead. 😂😂
Props to both. They both had prolific professional basketball careers. One won championship in the NBA, the biggest basketball stage in the world. One won a championship in China and helped make the game into a bigger global phenomenon. They both went through really hard times but let that be a lesson that whichever path you take in life, you can always end up being a champ. 🏆
Watched these guys since I was just a little toddler, man does time fly bye⌚✈
man it really does
Kevin garnett was my first ever jersey. and the first Game that i watched at a stadium. Minnesota vs. lakers my most fond memory. it is really sad to see Kevin garnett go. 😢😢😢😢
I doubt you remember any of this.. L
who me?
KMxSweatshirt nah not you
Marbury | Garnett my favorite duo even tho they had 3 seasons
These 2 should’ve never broke up they could’ve brought a championship to the city
Man I am going to miss KG. Still can't believe at nearly 40 he postered Blake Griffin. One of the best PFs!
Not defensively
+Cameron Mains lol he won the defensive player of the year
u dum af lol
I'm talking about Blake griffin
My greatest example for Hustle intencity and hard work is this man right here thanks KG,The big ticket,Kevin garnett for Being my rolemodel and for so many others great succes and good luck with your future and evers and i hope to hear Much from you in the future you are the greatest
If they stayed together they would've been title contenders. Lakers, Spurs, Kings,& the Timberwolves would've been the powerhouses in the west
I cry every time
when jealousy hits you. i think that's what stephon murbury feels when he was teaming up by garnett.
Top 5 PFs All Time

Rip Flip Saunders
Rip Flip and Malik Sealy
Thanks this movie is very beatiful
KG was fun to watch in his prime and I'm happy he retired as a Timberwolve
True. KG was extremely entertaining to watch, and had his own dominant era but Tim was consistent throughout his career. Both are legends in their own right but yeah timmy is the best PF ever
Two hof locks that split. One a legend in China and the other one of the greatst pfs of all time
Peace out to one of the greatest to ever do it in the game the passion intensity if he had better teams in Minnesota could have won more then 1 chip
I kind of blame the greatness of Allen Iverson for their break-up. I think Marbury wanted what AI had, a team for himself. I think he foolishly thought he was as good as Iverson.
I always thought the same, but I don't think he's foolish for it. Him and A.I were rivals in college and their rookie year before A.I reached new heights every season onwards. In Steph's mind, he outplayed Iverson most of the time in college and their rookie season, he even said "statistically he's better, but I believe impact-wise I'm better" and he felt if he had the green light A.I had as a #1 option, he could reach that level too. He did see scoring jumps once he left 'Sota and even became a 2 time All-Star, but in hindsight, I think he'd trade that for better postseasons with KG.
+Swish Scope It's sad bcuz Marbury had it all. He was alot more explosive and bigger than Iverson. They were just both amazing to watch play but Iverson was always a better scorer. Steph is more of an actual new york elite point guard that can do it all with an explosive first step & top tier handles. If he stayed in Sota' they may have won a title.
Seriously? Marbury is from the media capital of the world and had been getting massive amounts of attention since the 6th grade. He wasn't used to sharing the spotlight and didn't like it. Not sure how you can "blame" Iverson for Marbury being a spoiled brat that passed up a shot at greatness for individual glory.
I spoke with David Falk about the two...the bigger unheard story is the little brother Zach Marbury.... it is a GREAT movie people need to watch... I can direct the Movie...
Iverson has no Championship Rings
I met Stephon Marbury at game 7 of the Warriors Cavs game. He's a really nice guy.
Steph family place a lot of pressure for him taking care of the family
Too bad Marbury left after KG got that contract this team could've a couple championships with sprewell and cassel
I agree could have been shaq and Kobe
Sprewell is a dumbass. Gets offered 14 million a year and says I gotta feed my family because he thinks he was worth 20 million. Never got another contract in his life.
Evan and he choked van gundy
Not van gundy. PJ Carlesimo
HayatoRPG cool
Good watch..the game..
..win/lose. Be beautiful ❤️!!
does we’re the days we’re you love basketball very good players all around
Steph & KG
Kemp and Payton were the funk!
Marbury looks like Kyle watson from Above the rim
Facts 😂
Steps dumb for leaving he could of been a legend in MN like KG is even without a ring image if they did
Love
happy retirement KG gonna miss ya
Marbury should have never left. His career would be way better.
Time goes by
"Too good to true" good job NBA
From the interview Marbury did with Slam Magazine, him leaving the Wolves had nothing to do with him being jealous of KG it was more of him not liking the lifestyle in Minnesota. He said in the interview that he almost lost his life numerous times driving on black ice during his time there.
The weather is not THAT BAD out here
@@aidenlud you ah damn lie😂
LMAO STOP THE CAP
I blame the CBA for their breakup, but I wouldn't want to live in Sota either, especially in da 90s.
Feels like yesterday watching him pierce and Allen on the same team
Should've been a dynasty
like a bossssssssssss
:( my favorite duo of all time! Damn ego can be a cancer!
Btw. What's up w that distracting trumpet? 😭😁
Marbury said he wanted to go home that was the real reason why he asked for a trade. Not every player dreams of championships and things like that. Marbury said straight up her wanted to go home and didn't want to like in Minnesota for the next 10 years to be the next Stockton and Malone. Its unfortunate basketball wise, but everyone is their own person and has different motivations for why they want to do things
they have to chance to team up again in boston. but it's different not like when they were in minessota.
I hope 2k puts Marbury in the game..
You can play nba live
God no
lmaooo
Which version the Chinese legend or the dysfunctional nba player
@@OoHaZaRD7oO 😂😂😂
Rest in peace. We will miss you KG.
He's not dead crackhead
LMAO
RIP
RIP
RIP
This is why Lebron and all the ignorant young Heat fans who thought KG owed Ray Allen an apology were dead wrong. KG's generous and loyal to the fullest for his teammates and has had a history of losing his best friend teammates (Stephon Marbury, Malik Sealy) to unforeseen circumstances, each one hurting him more than the last. He shouldn't have to owe anyone an explanation for this, this info has been around forever. Although Ray wasn't a best friend, KG and his teammates heavily invested in him and each other (just like the Marbury thing). Even though the C's staff didn't share that investment and wanted to trade him, all Ray had to do was join anyone but the rival Heat (who the C's had animosity with) and he would've got a pass for it, they'd still be friends. Instead it was like all of those battles and losses to the Heat meant nothing personal to Ray as it did with the rest of the C's. Then of all people to ask KG to apologize, it's the rival that he lost his teammate to lol.
Nigga you need to get this long ass comment published
Still acted like a bitch. They weren't a dynasty. Get over it
I agree
If Ray was gonna come off the bench why not come off Miami's bench
omg legend
Oh man... it was around this time i fell in love with the wolves. Probably chose the worst team to support as they never do anything productive... but watching this team (KG and his supporting cast) was a great experience. Unfortunately KAT and wiggins havent come anywhere close despite having more talent than Garnetts supporting cast...
Man if these guys have stayed together it would have been litty 🔥🔥🔥
At then end of the day.. chasing the $ is why he isnt remembered.. chase wins, chase rings, youll never be forgotten.
They are both remembered lol that’s what the video is for 😑
What a messed up sad ending, any Timberwolves fan and Minnesota fan knows. KG held it down until the end even after going to the Celtics he still represented Minnesota. Marbury was Starbury back then and could've been way bigger with the T'wolves and Garnett then he could've ever been with the Nets or the Suns. Another Minnesota sports team let down
Hold up...it was Marbury, Garnett, AND Gugliotta!!! It was a trio, not a duo.
Lol gugliotta!
B4 SKIP BAYLESS STARTED RIDING THEM, THANK GOD
SEEING AS THEY WERE NAMED 'THE WOLVES' IT WAS A QUESTION ABOUT HYGIENE, DID THEY BRUSH THEIR TEETH-
IRONIC THAT THE SEGMENT BEGINS WITH KG OUTDOORS, AND HE'S NOT SCARED OF A WOLF ATTACK! LOL
Marbury an edgier Dame.
ChittoTheGod im the building
2:56 wooo .. hold on there
thats some shit wiping
Can't believe Marbury ditched KG like that. Never forgave him since!
Just like Vince and TmAC
ButtZilla1031 yes love both those duos of guys I looked up t Mac , Vince today LOL.
RIP flip😢
He really was too good to true...
Rip Are man
the kid
Should’ve stayed in Minnesota
why kg doesn't talk like that on his show.
KG was an Alpha willing to sacrifice in a lot of ways, it makes me wonder why the Timberwolves couldn't get him a decent co-star for years. If he was a selfish Alpha like Marbury, he would've left earlier and never came back to retire as a Timberwolf. He left the Timberwolves a little KG in the rookies for the future before walking out, much respect. Wish him the best!
top pf: tim duncan, kevin garnett, karl malone, dirk, charles barkey
Stephs attitude started a downward spiral on the NYC point guard mythology and people just accepting them as demigods on the court just because...he can never be slighted as a talent as he gave people the business and was/is probably the best talent at PG to ever come out of NYC, but he gave up on a team that wanted to give him everything with a teammate who wanted him to have everything just to be 'Starbury'....
Has Steph every really reflected on this decision? Have to search that out. I'd love as KG is retiring for the two of them to be reunited to discuss that time, the game itself then/now, and life as both guys were cut from a certain cloth and time that is still relevant as they have grown and matured into great stories of success in their own right.
Top 10 Power Fowards:
1)Tim Duncan
2)Karl Malone and Kevin Garnett (tie)
3)Dirk Nowitzki
4)Kevin McHale
5)Charles Barkley
6)Dennis Rodman
7)Pau Gasol
8)Chris Webber
9)Jerry Lucas
10)Bob Pettit
Top 10 Power Forwards of all time
1. Tim Duncan
2. Kevin Garnett
3. Karl Malone
4. Kevin McHale
5. Bob Pettit
6. Charles Barkley
7. Dirk Nowitzki
8. Bob McAdoo
9. Elvin Hayes
10. Dennis Rodman
nigga said Bob Petitt lmao
So many things wrong with this list. How did you get 5 thumbs up?
KG is 3rd in lots but I would put him 2nd and Karl is 1st
I'm pretty sure Rodman should be higher than that. He was a rebounding beast.
Bob over Barkley and Dirk?
DAM!!! R.I.P. KEVIN GARNETT 😢
Then everything went downhill after that. They sign joe smith and ruins their cap space causing the NBA to take their draft picks for like a decade. No talent to really be paired with kg. Then kg leaving to Boston. Drafting Kevin love ,Jonny Flynn and Ricky Rubio, only Ricky on the team. The positive is finally here in Minnesota. They now have two potential superstars with potentially the best guard from the 2016 draft and they have a good coach
Joe Smith did not ruin their cap space for a decade bro..
If you wanna get into cap space lets get into KG's 10 year deal that caused an NBA lockout and the deal was grandfathered into the new salary cap. I love KG but if he wanted to win a ring in SOTA he would have retooled his deal with them after it exceeded the cap, Joe Smith screwed us because the under the table deal McHale made with him for next season and cost 3 draft picks.
whats the trumpet music??
These two def should have stayed together. No doubt they would have found another player to complete a trio that you build success around.
There arent point guards in the nba like stephon marbury anymore.
I think Lillard is kinda of the same mold with a better 3 ball but not that aggressive to the paint.
T Mac fax
Ja morant
Marbury was a dog and would smoking guards if today like a stogie 💯💯💪🏼Coney Island strong
pisces and gemini
The original Durant and Westbrook
Westbrook never had the attitude issues that Steph did. That's a diss.
Too bad Minnesota didn't get Phil Jackson when they were playing together
ahhh
the "could have been" teams that we always dreamed of gelling and staying together for 3 or 4 seasons until they reached their prime together in 2001 or 02 they could ve at least met once in the finals
2001 not so injured or unfocused and eventually coachable versions of themselves :
(that s too much to ask i know but we re in a bar here. cheers!)
A.I larry hughes stackhouse coleman/lynch tim thomas theo ratliff snow mckie vs starbury sealy notsodepressedgoogs kg garret rasho with bobby jackson off the bench nba finals 2001
hmm but then again in that alternate reality 2k1kobe could have been playing with eddie jones matt geiger anthony mason brad miller tony delk (intelligent version of smush parker) coleman/lynch malik rose and a fat fucking glen rice in charlotte oooh tsk tough bunch
Pres & justice young lol
Steph was the key.
This reminds me of orange juice lol
Hi
believe me it would be a happy ending for starbury if he were staying with kg, but look at him right now.. nay nay
They could have been champions together. Shamely Stephon´s ego, didn´t let him.
RIP KG 1995-2016
i mean hes not dead
stealing jokes ....fuckboi's kill me
huh, I thought they never got along with each other?
I swear they would had been champions.... Smh
hi
Both HOFs
Marbury ain't no hall of famer lol
Shane Robinson he is, this is a basketball career not an nba one.
What if?
Marbury dumb for leaving 😂
That Duo would've been insane
When you have a talented big & guard together you keep that. Bet he wonders what if -
Players blaming each other when actually it was that CBA that broke them up.. a few years later they players went on strike because of it. If i was Stephon Marbury from Coney Island Projects who grew up in "poverty" then i want the money too.
Stop sitting here pretending that the CBA made a bunch of players into paupers. It's absolutely ridiculous.
That era of players was filled with guys who swore up and down that they "just wanted to win", but then did everything that they could to sabotage that; and Starbury is on that list.
Starbury thought he was as good as iverson. He thought he could lead a team to a championship by himself.
Thank god Towns, Wiggins, nor LaVine(I hope) have the ego of a Stephon Marbury.
dont forget Dunn
Wolf I don't think Dunn will be as special as people think his role will be reduced due to being either a backup or a 4th option
TheRealH2dut lmaooo yeah bro he left
2
Durant joined golden state warriors
And warriors choked a 3-1 lead.Haha ain't I so funny using this joke
we know dat dummy
I was joking cause I know somebody was gonna say it
+Steph Curry The W.H.I.M.P*
They would have had at least one ring if not more together. Steph ruined everything
curry>08-09 KG
>Westbrook profile pic
>Curry better than KG
k
damn i cant troll
Lol
KG doesnt choke as MUCH as Curry did on game 7s. Watch Game 7 vs Kings in 2004
Probably his best performance
2 All defensive teams
9 All defensive first which is tied for most in nba history led nba in rebounds for 4 years now 2002-03 season he led his team in all stats lacked help most of his career prior to kg the wolves ain’t have not one 30 win season if you swap him with Tim Duncan he easily has 5 rings one of 4 players to win DPOTY and League MVP with Michael Jordan, Duncan Robinson, & Hakeem he has over 25,000, points, 10,000 rebounds, 5,000 assist, 1500 steals, and 1500 blocks, only player in na history to hit all these milestones he paved the way for modern bigs. the wolves front office failed him when throughout his whole time there his teammates only had as a collective 3 all star appearances with Chauncey Billups and Stephon Marbury no help from a front office or talented players 1v1 a prime kg is better than any other primes PF in their primes between 23-30 Duncan averaged less of everything EXCEPT Blocks in which he was up by .9 so if kg not 1st then he second obviously beating Charles Karl & Dirk
He wasted his great seasons unsupported teammates so bad early career so many predicted analysts he got at least two rings
