    This is one of my top five favorite dishes in the world. I don't add potatoes and I serve over rice noodles. I top it like pho with jalapeno, lime wedges, bean sprouts, etc.

    I want to make this, also using chicken thighs. How long do you cook it for after adding the seared chicken? Do u let it simmer on low heat for an hour or 45 mins?

    What is bruised lemongrass?

      Lemongrass is an aromatic plant used a lot in Vietnamese cuisine. You can buy it at most Asian grocery stores. Bruising it can be done by pressing gently on it with the flat side of a knife to break open the fibres so it releases more of its flavours.

    sao lại bỏ khoai , khoai môn vào hầm chung với thịt hả ? như vây khi thịt chín thì khoai nhừ và nhão hết. Gặp gà dai thì khoai và môn sẻ bể hết.
