Thank You Jay. I fish with a ten-foot long very soft action rod that is great for spey casting. It was put together in Carls' shop in 1992. I almost always avoid conventional dry fly casting with this . I spend a lot less time in the fly-eating trees using the spey techniques. You should do a video on how to retrieve flies from trees, for most of us our flies spend more time in the bushes than on or in the water.
Nice casting Jay. I would like to see you go over line control and the single hand spey casts that you are utilizing. It also looks like you are using some unique roll pickups. I miss those soft currents and tree lined streams of WNY. Living in WY and Idaho most of our small streams are rough and ragged. Keep up the good work!
I was not suprised there was not a fish in this but I still go there at least once a year and work it just to see for myself. Literally been at least 3 years since catching a fish in this section/area.
Love the different segments for the three different casts!!! Keep them coming
Thanks! Will do!
Great tips Jay as always.
Glad you like them!
Great stuff as always! Thank you.
My pleasure!
Very nice explanation and demo.
Glad you liked it!
