This set was one of the first with a ECC85 circuit and it is a cracker on VHF. After I sorted a problem that it had from NEW\! Always fault find rather than scatter change components. I could have done a Capacitor Change on this and it still would not have worked.....

Lovely looking old Radio. Heard Philips dial drives are hard to repair.

absultly brilant presantation use to have a philps that was my mums but no one could repair it wish I knew about you then it Wes a lovely old radios mum listend to Terry Wogan ever morning on it was told you can't fix Philips radios by dirfent people I asked so had to give it away have look at some of your other videos brill lookt at other radio repair vids on UA-cam most you could tell did not have a clue and are blaming there way through them I myself only have a small electronics knolage just one that t I was inprest with radio cruncher he is another one seem to know what he is doing like yourself Steve
