@beersoap8406 don't worry, they kinda did now, replacing 7th sister for 8th brother did wonders for me. I used my bounty hunters: (Bossk lead, both mandos greef and jango) all relic 5 except for jango relic 7 and won 2*
All you gotta do is keep mando alive with the damage immunity and instakill Grand Inquisitor, it's very RNG dependent but it's manageable

I can’t confirm since I’m locked out from trying but it seems it is slightly easier since 7th sister is out and can’t heal the team and ability block.

But should’nt it be like that tho? That you got to have full gear and highest gear/lvl to aquire the last tier characters? That’s how it’s in ALL other games, I remember playing wow, to be able to defeat the last boss I had to have the BEST gear or people would’nt even bat an eye to me and I would’ve died instantly.. Same here, I’m almost certain that Reva will be one of the ”high tier” characters, so it would be pretty retarded if a fresh lvl 85 could aquire her along with the highest geared accounts.. People who have played and put alot of money into this game SHOULD have more content and get better things, that’s called a REWARD SYSTEM..
This one and razor crest are the only ones I haven't beaten so far so I wouldn't say it's getting progressively harder. At least not for me.

the only reason proving is in the event title is so you can prove how far you’re willing to go until you decide to spend money
The difficulty is geared for whale accounts that are big enough that they probably already got it the first time around. This is a big fat middle finger to anyone who recently built their account up to a point of even being allowed to attempt Conquest Hard or the Proving Grounds. Seriously, the solution is to have an array of GLs on hand with Wat (which isn't easy to get to 7 stars for newer accounts, and harder now that larger guilds aren't doing DSGeo TB)
Yeah, cg has clearly forgotten who proving grounds was meant for. It's a catch up mechanic, not a goddamn new release. This is fucking stupid

This event was such an overturned mess, chewing up and spitting out GL’s like nothing. I’m happy our community is great at developing strategies because I had to rely on GAS + JMK to even 1 Star this event

Gotta love CG for caring soo much about the time and effort we put into their game to get these good characters that do nothing in events that matter most.
When this event started I was like oh finally l, I'll just throw my GL to one shot all these battles. Only to find out I can't even beat a single one. Not even Phoenix squad! FRICKEN! PHOENIX SQUAD! You know how shitty it feels to throw a S-tier team at a Phoenix squad, just to lose to it a min later. I'm not gonna lie, I almost Uninstalled the game right there. But I'm not strong enough to do so.
Even after CG's adjustment I didn't get a single turn with the GAS+JMK team. That was laughable. Thankfully Traya+Sith did it for me. Shout to you Ahnald for getting videos like this up fast for those of us that wouldn't think to try out these other teams. I had given up on actually getting any shards for this ship. It reminds me of Thor telling Hela she is the worst. "And believe me, I would love for someone else to rule. But it can't be you. You're just the worst." This is the community to CG. There has to be someone that would be better at making an enjoyable Star Wars' game. Yet, here we are. CG really is just the worst.
it worked BEFORE the "nerf" adjustment. that was the only time I successfully did it. now it won't work anymore!
This is how I felt being unable to beat Inquisitors in Conquest with my SEE.
Rename event to "punishment grounds" for not spending every free moment and dime in conquest unlocking the the thing. Luckily I have the TIE/IN but I really really wanted the shards just to spite CG.
It took 6-10 attempts to make my re-modded relic 3 GAS survive the first onslaught and then it worked perfectly. Thanks for the currency I shouldn't have had. If it were not for the bug allowing access to those who shouldn't I wonder if solutions would have been developed in time.
Funny how this is what people wanted the Inquisitors to play like, but we get given nerfed garbage.
Then they whip out the Inquisitors we wish we got for Proving Grounds
Based on Obi-Wan and Rebels, the characters we get seem more true to the shows.
You used to be able to use jmk, cat, ships, gk, C-3PO when riva was still there. Only catch was grand inquisitor needed to do torment first instead of ability blocks.

Just 3-starred with Traya, Malgus, Malak, Nihilus, Talon. All R5, except for Nihilus at R3.Talon may have been the key with her TM gain, as her replacing Sion changed the outcome. But it could also just have been luck on the initial volleys until the max health ups accumulated.
Funny, how CG is always so skimpy with the compensations, but today gifted us with up to 8.8k worth of free proving ground refreshes, because noone apparently realized that the whole event would be refreshed, not just the newest Tier ;)
It’s very easy if you use this team and give damage immunity to fives instead of GAC: GAC JMK Malak Fives Wat. As soon GAC goes down JMK gives immunity to Fives every time. Easy-peasy !!! Wat at the start of the battle gives speed tech to JMK.
Jmk cat got obliterated and that’s my best team. Thought I didn’t stand a chance. Traya lead with nihilius, sion, malak, and SEE did it for me. Also I love the “papers and the trash song” throwback to your Darth Revan walkthrough
SEE is fodder in this event. He did nothing useful for me. Talon did more than him. Wat would've been a good replacement for him
I used SEE with Bossk, Malak, D Revan and Bando. Bossk and Malak died to the aoe attack during the first wave of attacks, but Bando survived just long enough to gain damage immunity and they attacked him much more than SEE, giving time to get his Ult and take down Reva and GI. Painful event though. That was pre-patch.

Ty for this video, finally did it thanks to it. Only have SEE (but Traya and Nihilus only G12) and JML so did it with the JKL lead JML lineup and it worked.
Shaak was fastest so she got the speed tek from Wat, then used the swarm ability (from JKL lead) to shut them down (Luke with AoE stun and speed reduction). After that take out the Grand Inquisitor and give the tank tek to JML. Came down to JKL (no tek) and JML (tank tek) against Reva, but took less than half an hour of trying to get good rng

Made jkl lead, jml, jka, revan and malak work:
The idea is them to trigger jka's bonus turn so he uses jkls tm ability and grants him a turn, he stuns and then jml increase cooldowns on the 8th brother so he doesn’t aoe. Mark GI and try to use malak's life drain on him to kill him fast. Jka and revan end up dying from the dots but so do they, leave 3rd sister for the end
You can't use Malak's life drain if Reva is constantly taunting.

This worked for me first attempt after everything else failed. Legend!
I got 2 stars with bounty hunters (Mando, Bossk lead, greef, jango) and Beskar mando all relic five and Jango relic 7, main strategy: keep mando alive to desintegrate Grand Inquisitor. You will lose bossk unfortunately but it's posible to win. Warning: RNG dependent, kinda like the C-3PO event. It WILL work but you've gotta be patient.

Another very frustrating Proving Grounds day!!
I wound up doing it with JKL lead, Wat, JMK, CAT and Mace Windu… it sure wasn’t easy though. Put the weapons tech on Luke so he could get a turn quicker and reduce speeds. This was before the apparent update.
Oh man! You just saved my life! You're awesome! I did it with Traya r5, Sion r4, Nihilus r4, Malak r6 and Talon r5. It was smooth. 2 stars. Beautiful

Give weapon tech to nihilus so he gets turns, then autoplay. It might take several tries but it's less stressful than doing it manually
I just cycled through GLs until one of them worked lol. But I’ve had the ship for quite some time, and I’m clearly not the target audience for the event. I can’t imagine the frustration for an account of the size that would benefit from completing the event.
Don’t have any of those teams at relic 3. Worse part is that most of the time I don’t even get a turn before completely being destroyed.
GAS strategy helped me after the fix since my Traya team wasnt good enough to not get wrecked every attempt. Thank you!
I was able to get 1 star AFTER the "nerf". SLKR lead with GG, B2, B1, Magna. You want to go ult w slkr, siphon and he can easily 1v1 reva. It took around 5 or so times to get the right rng.
For anyone just coming across this event, Nightsisters with Merrin make this fight very easy. I managed to 3* it no problem with r5 Nightsisters. Kill the adds with plague and then hit auto - take a while to build the dot stacks on Reva, but you can just walk away at that point and come back for the 3* victory.
I got lucky and went 1/1 with Rey, but it didn't feel good/fun. I don't understand how getting a few extra shards a month when you have the ship/character at 7 stars is broken.
GAS lead with JMK, Wat, Fives and Rex worked like a dream. GAS got the damage immunity from Kenobi (who got weapon tech from wat for TM boost), and never took a lick of damage. Dots killed the entire inquisitor team, while all the 501st couldn’t fall below 100% health. Highly suggest it for Kenobi owners out there.

With some rng, I got 3 stars with thrawn r6 lead, marajade r5, emporer palp r7, malak r5, piett r5. Put imminent failure on palp, keep using thrawns cleanse, fracture reva, take out the leader. It took a solid 5-10 minutes eating through revas 3 lives.
Lol I beat it ( with RNG on my side) GG lead relic 7, B1 relic 4 , B2 relic 4 , Malak relic 7 , and SKR relic 8. And had the opportunity to focus on grand inquisitor and feed Kylo for his ultimate. And Malak helps slows them down just a little. They also focus on b1 when GG gets hurt.
JKL + JML + JKA + JKR + Shaak Ti got 1* for me if you’re still struggling. just keep restarting until you can mark GI with JKR
I was able to auto this battle with Nightsisters for a 3 star win. Merin, zombie, daka, talzin, and ventris. Took just over a half hour. Relic 5 night sisters with ok mods, not best but not the worst. My Nightsister don't have the mods to beat the assault battle tier 3 yet.
IDK what's funnier the fact that it took 2 hours and recording a video to figure out teams to beat it or that once again CG prove to be Ahnald's biggest fans by updating it towards the end of the stream... nevertheless it meant spending more time in the Kyber Club! LLTKE!

Tried both SLKR and SEE and in the end i pulled through with Traya lead and my SEE who in the end just outlasted the Inquisitors, Nihilus annihilated Reva and then died off along with Malak and Sion. Funny thing innit

I don't have Wat Tambor or Darth Nihilus for doing this, but today I was able to do it the first time. My team: SEE, Darth Vader, Traya, Darth Sidious and Malak. All are at R7 without Traya. She is only R5. Was just one star, but done - finally.... :-) *lol*
This event BLOWS
I used BAM, Kuiil, IG-11, CAT, and Dash. Took a couple of restarts to stabilize no deaths, after that BAM was able to trigger damage-immunity on everyone. IG-11 did the lion's share of damage putting all of the debuffs back on the inquisitors. 3* it prior to the update. Recommend this squad if you happen to have it. Lots of shared stats and defense.
I keep forgetting CAT is a scoundrel lol.

This event is insane. I got 2 stars most on it. I want 3 stars! So much damage & insane turn meter on those Inquisitor clowns.
It was my Sith team with Darth Traya that got it done for me. Once I was able to auto kill with Darth Nihilus it was pretty much done.
trya relic 4 / 255 speed Health and speed mods
Sion relic 4 / 249 Speed Health and speed mods
Nihilus relic 3 / 226 speed health and speed mods
Malak relic 5 278 speed health and speed mods
Talon Relic 5 (She never got a turn) 221 speed offense and health mods
I somehow beat this even with Vader lead since the enemies died by damage over time effects unfortunately for me it took a lot of luck to make sure they didn't target Vader at the very beginning plus he was the only one left so it only gave me 1 star it's fun to see them die off with dots and watch as Vader heals health and protection every turn but it isn't recommended.
Imagine playing this game before watching Rebels and/or Kenobi, expecting the Inquisitors to be a damn force of nature... then discover they're complete pushovers in the shows.
Tried and got down to one with CLS team, but couldn't finish it. Used your Traya squad except used EP instead of Talon, won in less than 60 seconds, thanks
A comp that worked for me (almost got 3*) was R5 Traya, Sion, Nihilus, Malak and R7 Wat.
TM mod on Traya for those tasty TM gains, Isolate Reva and keep going til you can Annihilate Reva. Then pick apart the rest of the Inquisitors.
Traya’s lead whittles the Inquisitors down bit by bit as they assist, and the health gains from debuffs kept everyone alive just long enough.
I tried with Talon and got stomped, but subbing Talon for Wat and using turn meter against them worked surprisingly well.
Just got a tip from a guild mate. KRU, SLKR, HUX, ST, FOS and it worked smoothly on 1*. Keep SLKR in ultimate state, even for one round. Than keep spamming the crits as much as you can. Victory even on auto.
The ending of the stream was funny asl 😂

What’s great is after my inquisitor farm, they’ll still never be close to this and that’s just sad
Standard GL Rey team. She keeps your team alive while inquisitors die of natural causes. Blade takes out tank at end. If GL Rey dies before end, restart. You can't kill tank without her. I average 2 attempts.

Got it first time with SEE even against Reva. SEE, Treya, Malak, Malgus and Wat. Linked Reva and Grand Inquisitor. Ultimate. Wipe em. Rest of em died off easy. Not 3* but it won.
I beated it with JML (R9), JKL (R8), JKR (R5), Jolee (R5) and GK (R8) yesterday. JKR and GK are the cleansers and GK ist helping JML to tank them.
I needed some attempts, but if Grandinquisitor is gone, they miss the DoT Cleanse.
Jolee needs to be alive all the time for three stars. Always call him for the assist if he is missing health.
I was able to 2 star it with JKL r7 lead, JML r8, Revan r5, GAS r5, Anakin r3. Took me lots of attempts but if you get the right rng just keep increasing grand inquisitors cool downs

I managed it with GL Rey with C-3P0 and Rey was the last one of my team standing. It was close.
Wth... Even with the changes my 3 Galactic legends teams, all on Relic 7 or higher are getting decimated, despite their speed being between 260-590...

6th Try with SEE worked but the RNG is grotesque in this event. It literally depends if you get Gas Grenaded or 1-Shot lose a Character from the start or not.

I saw a thumbnail saying that this event was not f2p friendly. So I threw JMK against it. And I lost in about a minute without killing a single toon. Finally beat it with SEE and traya cheese but man that event is bs

i just had good try with CLS, Adm. Raddus, Jyn, R2, and 3 PAC ... had everyone down exept reva and 4 people still alive! but after she revived things went bad fast (she killed adm Raddus and Jyn with one hit). Felt like a bug cause jyn usually can´t die the same turn as adm. Raddus, but in Proving Grounds everything is possible...
can't use Nihilus in proving grouds. My Nihilus is relicd higher than my other sith. Not sure why that would matter, or what they changed
Rey resistance & the Gas teams worked best for me. Unfortunately, my Nihilus is not geared up enough. : ( Out of rests & 21 more shards to 7-Stars.
I managed to cheese this with Rey and Crylo Ben but boy was i surprised when the event came out.

I used sith trio, malak, and sith empire trooper, all at relic 5 to win. It still took me like two dozen attempts to win. Disgusting how CG makes a trash team look amazing by giving them completely overpowered buffs.
1:02 CG owning the fact that they've EF'd UP and even trying to fix it asap? WOW! Customer pleasing may be on the board again? Yeah, keep that road, and I MAY return to the game. I also wholeheartedly agree with that comment: Either make the Inquisitors actually good, or forget about them ever going to be loved! BF has beaten the event with Traya team to two stars, so it was only hard to three star it, but that was impossible with REEEEEVA being there and being untouchable other then instakill moves...Event was hard, not unbeatable, almost (100% to us) impossible to three star when we tried it. Final judgement: We were NOT impressed by the early version. It was (sad to say it) Standard CG level of care! :/
Don’t have sith trio up and running so some awesome guy in APs video turned me onto his strat, which was rex lead and bad batch and I got 3 stars after 3 hours but he did it in 30 min so results may vary 😂😂
Let's be honest here. That proving ground is nothing but a promotional event for Reva/Inquisitors.
There will always be some people that won't realize immediately that this is not in any way representative of the Inquisitors faction in players' hands.
I hope malgus isn't this much of a headache. honestly me and my guild discord basically devised this is 650 speed inquisitors basically copy paste stats from final sector hard mode in proving grounds and now we don't got datadisks to carry us.

I I am very frustrated with this event. Like having a GL is worth nothing…
