      www.sunbeltrentals.com/equipment/items/1217/hilman-rollers-roller-skid-systems/ or Simplex in Canada or any tool rental. Just call and ask, they should know it... Thanks for your comment!

      OptionTag Nice video and thanks for sharing!! Unfortunately, my moving is not like this since I want to move my Morgan Building 6 x 8 shed to the other side of the house. I can do it the hard way by dismantling it and then having to rebuild it......or try to get a crane to lift it......or just destroy it and then get a new one. Since it has a metal roof, the first option may be cheaper than hiring a crane company. And I would HATE to destroy since it is in fine shape, even though it is about 25 years old. And the Tuff-Sheds of this size are NOT cheap!!! Any helpful comments from you and others are most welcome and thanks to all for any help!

    I've been thinking to do the same., what size rollers did you use, and if moving a 2 car garage, should I use 4 or 6? Just curious what you'd think

      Hi Nick, I used 15 tons Hilman Rollers. If you move something bigger than my shed, I thing the scaffold boards won't be hard enough. Using more than 4 rollers could make it really hard to have all six rollers supporting the weight. Even with only 4, I often had one roller getting loose (because the ground is not 100% even). Good luck with your project!

    How do you rotate. I’ve been thinking of renting something like this for a year now but can’t think how I would rotate...

    Is this possible with a 2 car garage?

      +OptionTag did you roll it on wood. 2x6 or something else? we use c channel

    • @OptionTag
      @OptionTag  8 років тому +1

      +sprfitter1 I used standard 2' x 10' scaffold board. C channel seem to be a good idea too! Maybe the rollers will move easily on c channel but could it be more dangerous if you are not on a flat surface?

    I tried. Than just paid the $175 for a tow truck lol

      May I ask how you moved it with a tow truck? We are looking to move one 3 house up and have been quoted $450 and $500. Our land is pretty flat as well so we didn’t expect that high of a quote.

    • @vadimnesen8060

      @@adelinechurch318 the tow truck just hooks it up in the front and drags it onto the flatbed. Might want to reinforce the front a little

    Where did you get the moving rollers?

      Simplex Equipment Rental in Canada. www.simplex.ca/en-CA/rental/moving-handling/handling/moving-roller-dd0158-15sld
      But I think it's easy to find elsewhere.
