Life is too short! Definitely buy the 3 skeins of lighter wool you need for the project! I can tell your heart is with the lighter color and you will be happier with that choice! BTW- kudos to your husband for ordering a yarn that he knew you wanted! What a guy! And always helping with the children so you can record your podcasts! It’s those little thoughtful things that our hubby’s do that are so loving! My hubby will buy my favorite coffees for me even though he doesn’t drink coffee (I know- hard to believe), but it’s the little acts of love ❤️ that strengthen a marriage! They’re keepers! Hope you and your daughter get to feeling better!

I think you should buy 3 more balls of the yarn you love for the sweater...life is short, knit only what you love and brings you joy! I'm not to familiar with Finnish knitters, but I loved the Maire dress that you knit by Vera, so that would be my choice..Had you considered opening a Kofi account, so we can buy you a coffee and you can use the money to support your channel? I just subscribed. What a great Podcast! Just loved your fox sweater you looked very pretty in it. For your knit conundrum at the end, buy more of the yarn that you love so your sure to wear it. Thank you for showing your knits. You make my queue grow. So true, leaving easy projects sprinkled around, especially a sock in my handbag. You are such a breath of fresh air. I love your enthusiasm and celebrate your 5000 followers with you. I think it was so clever to suggest that we look at Finnish designers. I filtered by language and realized I had many patterns in my library and favorites. I also saw Joji do a vlog yesterday and she is knitting a sweater with Finnish yarn. I couldn’t figure out why it sounded so familiar and then I realized it is one you have highlighted and knit with.

Hi Jana what a great idea for the heel I have made many socks and tried different heels I have the same problem with my high instep foot and the sock becomes too tight and not as comfortable as they could be seeing your heel construction makes me think to try your kind of heel I think that would fit my foot much nicer than a regular heel. Thank you so much for sharing this 💡

How very nice that Cynthia sent you the Lumme sweater pattern from Ravelry. You asked for our opinions about the yarn you're thinking of using. My choice would be the brown to go with the pearly ecru color. That combination is beautiful, and I believe you said you already have enough yarn in both of those colors. I think the brown yarn is a better choice for Lumme than the lighter color yarn you like so much. The brown and ecru really glow together.

Your Into the Wild is just gorgeous, and this darker green suits you as it is not next to your face, and th top part is in lighter colours. For your next project, I prefer with the lighter colour, the contrast is too strong with the dark gray. I would choose the Cotton Sky Sweater from Veera Valimaki, the ideal sweater for Springtime.

Congratulations on your 5,000, some UK podcasts have become a bit stale and are used to sell products, I love you knit and crochet with us and I love seeing your day to day life, celebrations and challenges. I have my eye on the woodland sweater but Anna Johanna , I made a love note ( very expensive version as was keen) but unfortunately do not love it and it has never been worn as I hand knit to be different and every knitting environment I find myself there are Lovenotes,, it has become the uniform or badge of honour , please keep sharing Finnish yarns and designers 😊

This is a good trick to have projects here and there in the house!! 👍👍. I have many projects, and depending on my activities, I knit zéro brain while reading, more complexe in front of TV. 😊😊
Crochet is a little bit more complexe, because I cannot crochet without looking at it constantly... 🙁
My sons are now adults, so I don't have this constraint 👍. But, I am working a lot and not many times left to knit 🙁🙁.

Drink lots of hot tea with lemon and honey as it will really help your throat. I just really love your fox sweater! It is so rustic looking and suits you well. If you make another, maybe with a dark sage green and keep the foxes the same color??? I think it would look totally different. I really want to make one as it is so cute and when I wear it I will be reminded of you my friend! If I would win a prize for your Finnish Knitting Pattern I would like to knit CAMELLIA by Anna Johanna. I am trying not to buy yarn either as I have so much stash. So, I think this year I will try to be more creative and knit more sweaters with colorwork. Your Woodland Cardigan is so cute as well. You always bring me so much joy! I hope you will be able to rest and won't get a full cold....you don't need that in your life. I actually like the darker shade with the mohair for your next sweater project. I think from what I see on the screen that there is not as much as a contrast with the other. Sock Heels.....Knittingtraditions has two sock patterns that are with her grandma's sock heel, and it is really differnt. I think it fits a high instep really well....I have that problem too. Also, Roxanne Richardson, Rox Rocks Podcast has a whole series of tutorials on sock heels and how to make them fit a high instep. She has the same problem as well.
