WHAT??? To be CONTINUED???? How could you!! Lol. Just kidding. I was just completely sucked in. Part 2 will be anxiously awaited for! Lol. I was thinking when your Journal was sitting in puddles of mixed paint (kind of brown), Barbara is playing in the mud! Lol. Then you mentioned your color looked like mud. You seemed to be having the best time. Just being free, no right or wrong way of doing anything. Just have fun. Can’t wait to see more.
Barbara, I was so caught up I didn’t even realize I was getting to the end of the video. What gorgeous fall colors the paint has made. Can’t wait to see the next video! TFS! ❤️
Thank you very much (as well as Luise) for always showing alternatives when you don't have all the same resources at your disposal. Whether it is the sewing machine, the glue or, or, or ... I find that particularly creative and friendly. You can always join in and feel inspired instead of excluded ❤️ Thank you❣️
Adding this to my never-ending list of projects to do. Thank you and thank you, Luisa! I can’t wait to see how this turns out. I also may join the collage club. Love that you are able to sell what you make with no restrictions. Thanks again!
Barbara , I’m feeling the need to tell you how much you inspire me . I’m starting a new journal . It will be a steampunk one . And by watching you do your Pinterest challenge I’ve started pinning a few tags to challenge myself . I have to say I’m very excited and if you have any ideas for me please let me know . And thank you for inspiring me to make something I will love in the end .
Such fun! I've used a skewer to sort of roll up the little flaps around the hole to give more depth and texture, too. Love these little books! TFS the inspiration, Barbara!
What an interesting idea! Some of these bits that you tore from the middles remind me of grungy little butterflies. In hindsight, it would probably make sense to add colour/tearing to each page individually before assembling them into signatures and then into a book, so as to not lose the paints and wait around for each one to dry before moving to the next
Wow this is amazing. I'm thinking I might not make a book but just use a couple pages and make it into a Halloween card for a few of my family members. The grungy rat t texture I think would make it perfect. Really looking forward to the next video
Wonderful journal! Inspiring and fun video, too. :) I really want to make one of these! Can't wait for the next step. :) And, now I know what to do with all of the book pages that were planned to meet the recycling bin... :D
Love how you seeed the pages together, I think this is what's holding me back from making a journal, sewing the pages together makes me nervous just need to step off the cliff. Also I think I would paint the pages before the last step sewing them together all together.
Ohh I can't wait to see the next part. This turned out differently then what I was thinking. I thought you would tear a hole in 1 and 2 layer and leaving a "peak" at something in the middle
I joined 18 months ago and I still haven't managed to use all the kits, ephemera etc. It's a great resource if you're making a themed journal. I love it.
Oh what a fun idea 💡. Lol my current project has about 6 different collage club items🙊. LADIES, COLLAGE CLUB IS SO WORTH IT!!! And use the link below please😁. Barbara can I upgrade using your link? I'm terrible at sewing curves🙈. I like having upside down text. Love mess 😁 I'm currently COVERED in gilding wax 😄. That red is beautiful like Autumn leaves😍. Looking forward to seeing the 'hole' journal finished🙊. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Hi again sweetie! What do you mean concerning an upgrade? Is your year over already? If you want to get a life time membership you are welcome to use my link 🥰. Have a fabulous weekend, sweetie! ❤️
Ah no it's not finished yet. I was just wondering if you upgraded/renewed in your current account or if I could do it via your link and keep my current account. It'll be on the website, I just haven't looked yet 🙈🙊🙈
This is so much fun! Not sure if you ever mentioned about your junk journal sewing in any videos when using a sewing machine - When you sew do you use a certain thickness of thread when you do stitching with your sewing machine? Or do you change your thread thickness based on the thickness of your paper or when sewing paper to fabric/lace? Thank you. I'm new to sewing and just bought myself a machine and am eager to learn the right way as to not ruin my machine.
Dear Barbara... Is that vinyl that you cover your desk with.. I see some channels have wood grain design. As always another great tutorial. I have learned so much. Thank you for all you do. Mary Suzanne from British Columbia
@@49dragonflies There was a page that had upside down print. It was used as a back page because it could be covered. When flipping it from left to right, it couldn’t be used as it the attaching side would be on the wrong side. If it were flipped bottom to top with the attached side in place wouldn’t the print be correct? Or did I miss something and only one page of the three layers was upside down?💖

Thanks! I always use regular sewing machine thread. It’s quite thin. I’m no expert 😬🤷♀️
This is so awesome!

Thank you! It’s a plastic tablecloth 😊
❤️❤️❤️
Barbara, just curious…🤔 Why couldn’t the upside down print be flipped from top to bottom? Wouldn’t it then be upside right? 🤗💕🦋
I don’t get your question, sorry! 🙈

Barbara have you ever used Gelato's.
I have a few. Not very impressed though…
Nooooo, I want to see it finished 😭
Can you explain to me why you flipped that last page so the print was upside down?
Because I wanted the front of the stitching showing on the outside 😊
I know right ....that's not fair ....my little book is waiting ....
is the video also available in german? I would like to understand what you are showing, but unfortunately I can't speak English
