I generally am not able to watch videos of this length. But I had some down time, and am glad I did. Excellent production. Clear, slow speaking. Simple explanations. Nice
I've watched a few of your videos for different games now and they are definitely the best tutorials I've come across. Thank you so much. Extra special thanks for your War of the Rings video which did a great job of explaining the most complex, but possibly the best game I've ever played.
Fantastic video. Incredibly clear and easy to follow instructions. Thanks for taking the time to produce such a high quality introduction to the game. Much appreciated.
Fantastic rules explanation. Well written, well spoken, and perfectly shot, with appropriate framing and visual examples for every topic. Bravo! Subscribed....
Outstanding how-to. Clear explanation of setup and mechanics. Good audio and video. I can't say how much I appreciate seeing a video by someone who actually understands the game he's demoing. Too many how-tos and playthroughs are filled with errors because they'e done by reviewers who aren't fully acquainted with the game. Not the case here. I'm hitting the Subscribe button now.
Wow! You flatter me! I can’t say I don’t make mistakes. I’ve made quite a few throughout my videos. I usually am able to correct them in the comments section or using “Klingon” subtitles. It’s difficult to be error free when you shoot without a script, but my goal is to recreate a feeling of being at the table with me as I teach, & I feel that teaching off the top of my head is better than using a script for that. I’m glad you enjoyed the video, and I hope you enjoy the game!
Brilliant! Thanks so much for this, really easy to understand and clear and concise explanations, we had our first time tonight playing and it went well!
Mssquishi1 Thanks for the kind words! My "playthrough" videos (only two so far) have not been as popular. Maybe it's because I'm not as good at PLAYING games as I am at explaining them 😉. So I try to focus on rules videos, but with lots of gameplay examples to give viewers a feel for the game. But since you're a viewer and you want it, I'll try to make it happen. I've already shot the footage for my next video, a rules explanation for the Concordia expansion, "Salsa", so I need to edit and post that first. But I'll do my best! Thanks for watching!
Get Ready for Game Night! Well, I believe you are very good also with the playing part! (: it's just that I remember I saw your playthrough for last will, and then I bought it, because it looked so fun! Now I see you also did playthrough to viticulture, which I'm also interested in! Planning to see it soon(:
Mssquishi1 So YOU'RE the one who watched it! 🤣 I'm humbled and honored that you enjoy the channel. My day job has a pretty hectic schedule so I can't give you a timeframe on the play through, but I'll do my best! Do you have a map preference? Would you like the base game only or the expansion included?
Luke Anthony Thanks for watching! The upgraded components are from the Stonemaier Treasure Chest. You can buy them from several online board game stores.
Get Ready for Game Night! Me too. Sold terraforming mars to get this. Lol Manhattan project energy empire will be played on the same night and will also be a first time playing. Have you tried that one?
Dean Lowdon Thanks for watching! The resources are from the various "Treasure Chests" by Stonemaier Games. You can sometimes find individual components or the whole chests from Meeplesource.com or Thebrokentoken.com.
I appreciate your kind words. I usually try to explain games that my viewers want to learn, so if you have any requests, feel free to send them to me. Thanks again!
Just bought this game and am excited to play it! You explained the rules in coherent way with a nice flow with it and the visual components were great! I wasn't sure if I caught it, but when a region produces, the players with houses in the cities of that region receives 1x goods that that city provides, right? Also, when scoring at the end, do you use the cards in your discard pile and your hand, or only in your hand?
That is correct. If you have a house, for example, on a city that produces silk, whenever the region that city is in "produces", you would receive one silk. For final scoring, you use all of your cards, both in your hand and discard pile. Thanks for watching!
Good theme song! Great instructions, clear video of the board. Thanks for not sticking your face all over the video like the "Celebrity Play-through" folks! Subscribing now
veerchasm1 Thanks! The music is "So Bueno" by the 126ers. When I started the channel I had three primary goals in mind. 1) I want to teach games UNSCRIPTED, as though you, the viewer, are just sitting down with me at game night wanting to learn the game and I have to teach it to you. And 2) It has to be about the games, not about me. I could not find any "learn to play" channels that taught games in that way, even though that's how most people want to learn (In my humble opinion of course). I really appreciate the kind words. It's what keeps me making videos since the third goal I had was to never put advertising on my channel, so I don't make ANYTHING from this channel. It's a pure labor of love. Let me know if you have any requests!
The Upgraded components are from the various Stonemaier Treasure Chests, made by Stonemaier games. They are available from Stonemaier’s website, or from a few online game accessory stores like meeplesource, the broken token, top shelf gamer or gametrayz. Thanks for watching!
I would have liked it if you explained the endgame scoring more. The rulebook states certain "maximum scoring" for each category that is confusing. It isn't specific if it is per God/category or per each card
The maximum scoring is per card. For example, each Mars card scores 2 VP per colonist you have on the board. Since the most colonists you could ever have is 6 (that's all there are of each color), the max scoring for each Mars card is 12 points. Hope that helps!

Best video by far on how to play Condordia. Well shot, excellent explanations! No need for the rule book. Thank you so much. '
Very kind of you to say. Thanks for watching!

Excellent overview. Thank you.

hey there. Just wondering where you sourced the add ons from. as in the tools, vine bottle and food?
Thanks really helpful video
Luke Anthony Thanks for watching! The upgraded components are from the Stonemaier Treasure Chest. You can buy them from several online board game stores.
Great video! Just got this game and read through the rules. I felt your video was a great addition and excellent quality. Keep it up!
DrossZro Thank You! I hope you enjoy the game. It's one of my favorites.

I've never played The Manhattan Project or TMP: Energy Empire. Let me know how it goes!
Great tutorial. Can I ask where you purchased the upgraded pieces from?
Dean Lowdon Thanks for watching! The resources are from the various "Treasure Chests" by Stonemaier Games. You can sometimes find individual components or the whole chests from Meeplesource.com or Thebrokentoken.com.
Get Ready for Game Night! Great, I'll take a look. Thanks again for the tutorial, saves trying to figure out the rule book ☺
I appreciate your kind words. I usually try to explain games that my viewers want to learn, so if you have any requests, feel free to send them to me. Thanks again!

Get Ready for Game Night! If those were your goals you've exceeded them. Really enjoyed learning this game from you. You are a gifted teacher
veerchasm1 You are too kind.
Where did you get the upgrade for components, please? :)
The Upgraded components are from the various Stonemaier Treasure Chests, made by Stonemaier games. They are available from Stonemaier’s website, or from a few online game accessory stores like meeplesource, the broken token, top shelf gamer or gametrayz. Thanks for watching!
I haven’t seen those wine vials before are those from Stonemeier as well?
Setup seems tedious but in practice is exciting for all participants!
Agreed. Thanks for watching!
