Gotta love the intro. It goes from a funny scene with Martin Lawrence and Will Smith to all seriousness here and a beautiful view of Miami. Miami is like a Venus flytrap, it’s beautiful and deadly at the same time.
This intro theme is straight up badass with the percussion and string, electric guitar and the electronic elements mixed with it. Pure badass. I remember seeing this movie in the cinema in the mid 1990s as a 15 year old. This movie was played really loud and the music is was a total rush. I wanted to get my hands on this music but the soundtrack only had one film score track and it wasn't this one. Had to wait from 1995 all the way until 2007 when La La Land records released the score for this movie. Still have this score today, a limited 3000 release. On Discogs currently for sale for prices ranging from 119 to 168 USD.

The theater was packed and everyone laughed, clapped, was blown away and entertained the whole time. One of the few movies in my life where I recall the movie getting claps and an ovation at the end. Batman 1989 and Rush Hour 2 are the only others that come to mind.

I think what people dont realise with this film is how progressive it was in terms of having 2 black leads in the 90s and the opening credits music wasnt stereotypical hip hop or laid back vibes. It was tense and epic and made the audience feel that Smith and Lawrence were in a big deal of a movie with high stakes.

Yeah.. because I totally remember the "Hollywood" style "Miami" sign that sits in on top of the hills surrounding the city the last 20 times I've been to Miami. You know that's LA + cheap CGI right?

Oh God! This theme tune is so fucking cool! What I’m assuming is a lead guitar coming in with those ‘screams’ at 0.50 along with the main orchestral composition, that’s what makes it for me. Just so badass, man!😊👍🏽
exactly Mancina music screams miami to me especially that caribbean sound in one of his other themes and it sets the tone of the movie lets hope the third one gets back to this sounding of music
Bad boys 3 is very awesome! I actually sat in the movie theater laugh and enjoy the movie. Like I'm beyond Amazed by that very good movie Really glad that Hollywood didn't ruin it!!!!
