Gauntlet of power is looking great. I am pumped for this one to come to switch. I hope everything is good with your dad.

It plays very nicely on the Switch! Hope we'll get to release it early 2025! And yeah dad is fine, but age and all that comes with that in terms of mind and body are more and more noticable.

it's cool to see how you reused graphics from one boss to another and you managed to make them look pretty different still. reusing code too! pretty cool.

The character is actually released as Rogue instead, and she is now available in the Temple Update on Steam.

My first game I ever released was 2D in Unity, and now that I’m starting a game studio I’m switching to 3D in Godot, so nothing really transfers over.
The positive side to this is that my first game was made with spaghetti code because I was a beginner, but now I’ll be able to code things in a modular and efficient way.

You can probably rewrite a lot of the stuff (not so much with spaghetti code), but a good reusable code should be as agnostic as possible

@@drillerdev4624 I’m going to write everything from scratch for my next game. I’m going from C# to GDScript. Nothing I built in my first game would transfer well anyway honestly. I did a terrible job with efficiency on that game, but it runs good enough for me to be satisfied releasing it haha. For each level, I basically rebuilt the game instead of building stuff in a way to quickly re-use assets. Dumb, I know, but I learned the hard way haha.

Hello, I'm a big fan, I would like to know if this Heroes of Loot will be the 3rd in the game's history or a spin off?

Might want to rethink making the only black character a thief.
I'm sure you only did it for inclusion, but it may go down badly.

The pixel art is great. But maybe "Ninja" is safer.

At least its believable, no black ninja, ninja are japan that's fake i am half black myself those sweet baby people are crazy very small audience stop giving those people attention, they create reverse psychology when it comes to racism. We did't have this shit in the 90s nba jam was full of believable characters without victimizing nonsense.

@@SteveDFM I personally dont think or care about such things or stereotypes, but you are right a lot of people do consider it. Althought objectively speaking... black people do have an advantage in the night.

lol, if anything gamers will find it funny. The only people that will get butthurt are the DEI departments in Media and Reddit mods.
