Well I was not going to wait around to watch your work flow film. Thank you, it was a hit for me. I had no idea that you were going to show this.
Is this unit what Roli have been hinting at as their new release next November? I have to say, your way of working is not so different from
mine. I also use Loop sounds a lot, searching for those that have a richer volume or story and hold together well even on their own.
Yet that is because I am no musician, I play by ear and although I have always been drawn to the piano, I have no knowledge.
This is why I warmed so much to this instrument, as it is quick to give you a range of usable notes based on the key you choose.
The slide also helps with this of course. So you get that incredible software with all those sounds when buying the unit.
Wonderful range of expression and being able to modulate on the fly with the effects and reverb on certain keys, amazing.
I liked you end result, very deep and the ending with what sounded like a steel barring being dropped across the floor.
Although I love Ambient music most in my life, I would yearn to be able to achieve more.
I bought an drum kit with pads, so that I might both learn, play along to songs and hopefully create my own more natural beats and fills
for the music. It will be nice to see what control one can get from the Seaboard.
I use FL Fruity Loops as a RAW, so hopefully it will integrate well with it.

Mine is supposed to ship in December. I’ve wanted one for years. I got the Lumi keys and a light block. It’s too bad more daw don’t have better mpe support.

Muy buen vídeo, pero Roli tiene un problema de stock muy importante. La espera es muy larga y mi primer Roli no pudieron repararlo por falta de Stock. Es un instrumento chulo, pero si falla, al menos en mi caso, no quedé nada contento con ellos.

Am very interested in purchasing that keyboard, a smaller one. But it is comparable with windows 11? With Cubase?
I Alondra, I have not used the Seaboard in Windows computer as I am a Mac user only. I think the ROLI website will give you all the specifications regarding compatibility. If I'm correct, you can use it with Cubase, as long as you install the Equator plugin that comes with it, or any other compatible MPE VTS.
How are you able to edit pitchbend mpe in logic? I had to switch to bitwig
It is possible in the piano roll section.. it’s a bit cumbersome and I’ll explain why in my review video
@@jpdussan are you able to draw curves? there are no values between 1 and 2, so I find impossible to work on audiomodeling strings and Im forced to switch to bitwig, so sad
@@prjd9 You can draw in curves in Logic yeah!
@@jpdussan my experience is that your can’t draw anything with intermediate numbers so only pitch bend value of 1, 2 and so on. Bigwig allows to draw and fine tune everything. If you have a solution I di don’t find please help effectively!
