- Twice-a-day workouts, my experience lifting weights two times a day, and the benefits I have experienced weightlifting 2 times per day. In this video, I explain my lifting routine to make 2 times a day lifting a beneficial practice for whoever can and will try it. I have experienced gains since starting a two-a-day lifting schedule, and the volume I gained is increased over the volume I was gaining during a single-day routine. Also, twice-a-day workouts speed up your metabolism, so you may have to increase your calories.
