Brilliant stuff, and coincidentally, I was at the Fairfax a few hours before watching this! Very interesting and inspirational. Are you storing the extra captured energy? I definitely want to do something similar but with a pure wave inverter and battery storage plus solar controller for charging on the move or on holidays. The advantage for me is that I can use the same setup for 12V and 230V. I find I see around 2A from the single panel on a typically overcast British summer day... thanks for posting this.
Thanks mate. I've been using other batteries at 48V then discharging with a 230V inverter or DC-DC for 12V. I'll get an inverter that'll do 72V for the TC Max battery next. I'd like more stationary storage too.
Hola, excelentes videos. Tengo una Horwin CR6 y tambien la cargo con energia solar (en España hay bastante). Como carga en 3 horas a 1200w, cuando llego a casa a las 15:00, la tengo cargada antes de que se ponga el sol
Hi, I'm thinking of solar charging for my Tc max. How long does it take to charge. I live in Spain. Would you be willing to advise on how one can construct an off grid solar setup?
Hi my Friend thanks for sharing!!! I also want do charge my Super Soco TC Max with Solar Energy??!Can you explain better de wiring or do you have another vídeo on that subject?
@@RREKO I put connectors on the panels so I can connect in series or parallel for different charge controllers. I can have 40v, 80v or 120v. This controller needs 120v. You just need to add the correct connectors and wiring to the controller side depending on what it requires.
Hiya mate, great video. How do you get the battery into charging mode ? I have a CPX, 5 pins plus neg and pos. Neg and pos measure nothing until apparently pins 1 to 3 are grounded to negative, does this sound correct ? Or did you use a pre-made plug connector ? Thanks
Love it! Solar biking is the way forward. It looks like your controller has indeed made the sky blue.
Haha! Yes! Imagine the cost of doing this with an electric car. You'd have to name that one "make bank account empty"
Great video with some brilliant ideas I like the ides of powering some items in the house with it maybe led lighting and low power items 👍
Thank you! I just ordered the inverter this morning. Looking forward to having a play. Video to follow!

Gracias me gusta tu enfoque
does solar charging with the makeskyblue controller also work with the original TC Max battery?
Yes should do

Mine takes about four hours. I'll have more videos soon about it.

Hi, I'll try and put some more information on my blog.

@@RREKO Which bit don't you understand?
@@thecapacitator8137 how you change from Series to Pararel and why?

What about the other pins in the charging cable? Can you safely charge the battery only using negative and positive?
It's canbus and signal for state of charge. Not had any problems just connecting positive and negative. Even with the original charger.
