I think it's one of the best foe-to-friendship plotlines I've seen in any game. You really hate Hans at the beginning but they do a great job of endearing him gradually

Story wise; Henry and Hans were meant to be friends. They’re both sons of Nobility albeit, one’s an orphan and the other a bastard who watched his parents get murdered.
They’re not that different, and I love seeing them bond as the game progresses.
I initially didn’t like Hans early on but he grew on me pretty quick😂
That is why I wish in the game, once the truth comes out, people like Hans and the others treat Henry like a noble, instead of the same person he was.
@@FortyWink I’m sure there’s a mod out there for that. Like a small overhaul mod that adjusts the Reputation System and adds more depth in detail to it.
In fairness I don't think Henry is legitimised yet so he's not a noble, but considering he's Radzig's only child as far as we know it can be a real possibility given the man does need an heir for his dynasty

One of my favorite cutscenes. Such a gem. I didn't even know this was a quest until I just happen to see Hans recovering in bed and thought I might as well talk to him.
I was laughing my ass off when Henrys dumbass got rocked with those flowers. Calmed down and then resumed laughing after they decided to keep drinking and Henry just woke up on the lawn
I know its abit redundant but would it be so hard to have them remove their shirt while bathing? like who bathes with a shirt on???

It is Hans' quest, after you saved him from bandits. They even made a DLC all about Henry help him chase woman. LOL
@@wolftooth123 hmm. Can you still do it if you've waited ages after hunting with him? I used to be obsessed with this game and got up to the war at prybislavits... I think that's what it's called. Lol, just completely forgot about the game and recently just started getting obsessed again lol
Unfortunately no, If you waited too long and have already started other main quests, then you cant get this quest from him if I remember correctly. Right now you can see he's Injured, especially his face, if you see him live and kicking someday , then you just missed this quest.

This is just silly- These two young men would have been naked in the tub, together, and the two of them would never have thought twice about it. Men have bathed and showered together (Naked!) since the beginning of time. This has nothing to do with being gay or promoting homosexuality. Oddly enough, this game seems to do everything in its power to promote heterosexuality.

cruzkit whatever. They still do it. The ponce prince even encourages Henry as he seems unsure probably partially due to his unsure history with Hans Capon. Also it’s the 15th century. Heterosexuality was pretty popular. I get where you’re coming from but this isn’t the game for it.
(Klondark/Klondeorc; German: To clone and to conceal) The statement that heterosexuality was "pretty popular" seems to miss the factor that most people did not know or understand that they had any choice when it came to much of anything, including sexuality. I can say that about the 15th century and the 21st century. If you add in the pressure from the Church and it's ultimate goal to limit all sorts of thinking and you may get an idea of what world Henry lives in. Yet, I believe the writers of KCD have purposely gone out of their way to limit any misunderstanding about Henry's sexuality. Their view is that Henry is a straight, God-fearing young man! It doesn't matter that he can lose his virginity (in the most nasty of ways) just as long as it's with a woman. The writers even went to the point of having a sharp reaction barked out loud, every single time Henry bumps into someone. They wouldn't want to send the wrong message. Of course, I concur with your ending words that this isn't the game for anything more than what was given. Thank goodness for mods. Eventually, mods will give my poor boy Henry a choice to be whatever I wish him to be.

It's clear to me that was the intent of the scene - they probably didn't think that through and replaced it at the last minute to avoid ratings issues, as the dialogue seems to reflect them being naked... as Hans thinks his "ass" in on show.
