    Thanks to Friedemann for the clear explanation, I so gladly welcome integrated LUFS anywhere from 11 to 14. It just sounds better. If consumers want to rock out, then just let them crank the volume on their end device!
    I wonder how many masters from the late 1990s til the recent 2010s will end up being remastered at a quieter level some time in the recent future?

    I usually shoot between -9 and -10 in short term lufs on the loudest part of the song

    So the LUFS [short-term] should stay within the range of +/-6db of the Target Loudness[LUFSi]? For example, if my target loudness is -14LUFSi, does that mean my short term loudness should always stay between -20LUFS and -8LUFS?
