I actually wish they had kept the full length Zoom of the Cut 2. I think they should’ve just firmed up React midsole insole and made it less thick and people would’ve been happy with the Cut 2s. I personally love my pair and will miss the Zoom/React combo.
I bought these and I’ve played maybe 100 hours in them. I love them I’ll never go back. Super light weight. Super comfortable the foam is a great force absorber. The indoor courts I play on can be very dirty and I never have to worry about slipping. These shoes are great. I’m 6’1 and 225.
longevity of the cushion can be accompanied by the shank, the running line has the shank in the middle where as these are bottomed loaded shank, so the structure integrity under stress/load would be different, in this case is LESS durable. Addition to basketball is a more EXTREME high load, fast change of pace sport, it is very interesting to see how the ZoomX will be influenced by basketball, also its the 1st from Nike to debut ZoomX- i think, very good shoes to test the water, lost of infomation to be revealed.
$180 for a minimalist all foam shoe is disrespectful. I own a pair of lebron 21’s and even though I got them on sale I feel as though $200 is a fair enough price for a shoe that allows me, a 46 year old to play hoops. I don’t see how this is shoe can cost dramatically more than the two wxy v4, sabrina, puma ap nitro or the GT cut academy, (which FOR $100 LESS HAS A ZOOM AIR UNIT!!!!). Cool looking shoe though
Too damn expensive, there’s better option with cheaper price, Li-Ning & Anta basketball shoes are very durable for both indoor & outdoor as they are already great at making Supercritical midsole with carbon fiber plate
My EP pair came in yesterday and I also felt that they were a bit wider than my normal tts. I contacted Nike customer service and was told that the width for the EP and non EP versions are the same, the only difference being that the EP version's traction is more durable. I was told that the fit will get better once I break in the uppers.
Nothing wrong with reps but I’m pretty convinced they are because they haven’t released yet and on top of that the price is without a shadow of a doubt not 170 usd. So that estimate would really only come from not having bought retail as if it came from overseas it would have costed over $200 to import them as the price alone before tax is $190 and again they haven’t released yet
They released in November over seas. These are from a friends store who has a Nike account. So cute little theory you have there but that’s all it is is a theory 😂

ZoomX is like Zoom Pods but 10000% more energy returning and costly ofc so i think this is absolutely a fair price for a elite shoe for bounce.
Gt cut 1 is built different. This looks like a genereic budget nike shoe
hopefully the support is better than the 2s, also like how they attached the tongue again did my head in the 2s
