For years I have been watching all the good stuff you do to your hair. So sorry to hear this. It will regrow. You know what to do. You already did it. You’ll do it even better. Godspeed on this new hair journey.

Just when your hair was at a healthy stage, this had to happen, but like you said it's probably a sign for change and renewal.

I rather keep my hair out as it keeps me cool.

So sorry to hear about your hair, such a shame as your natural hair has been looking so good recently. But thankful you didn’t burn your scalp. I’m sure with all the care you give your hair it will be back to full strength soon. Loved the wig you had on at the beginning and the short one at the end is nice too. Definitely send the brassy one back 😆

Oh my goodness what a nightmare! I am so very sorry that happened to you my dear. This is 1 of the reasons I rarely have real flame candles around any more. You can use a real candle warmer and its far safer and you will still be able to have your candles without the worry of something like this happening again.
Something you could maybe do is get a longer wig and cut and style it yourself. You might have more luck with that. Could also get a more 'fun' wig and just play with it for some joy. There are some really nice ones.

What’s a candle warmer ? Have to look that one up.
@@SussexSandra Its a kind of lamp with an additional stand under it. You sit the normal candle on the stand and the lamp heats down from above to melt the wax and release the fragrance. So you get light like you would from a candle and you get the fragrance. All without there being any flame. There are lots of them on Amazon.
There is also the option of wax melts too, where they warm from below, again with no flame.

Just had a look at the wigs they have available currently. They’re all very long which i’m not fond off. I always like short styles such as bobs and pixie cuts. And their prices 👀!! I don’t use wigs like that so the prices were untenable for me 🤣🤣.
I’m thinking about a couple of Sensationnel wigs i’ve seen but I don’t know if they’re available here in the UK.
I’m sure, I’ll find something that suits my lifestyle soon. Thanks for the suggestion though.
