I had to fight with glossy when product had drenched my box they kept going round in circles offering 3 quid credit.... my outer box was squishy it so wet

I used to love going to liberties in as a teenager loved there writing paper and envelopes as in them day used to have to write letters to communicate . Congratulations on your new job! 🎉😊 As for calendars, I wouldn't recommend Look Fantastic or Glossybox either, because they're mostly filled with items that have been in the boxes throughout the year. Some products are great, but you might want different items to try.

ASOS might be the way to go for your 2nd calendar or if you want a really special treat, Vogue did their 1st advent calendar last year and that looked amazing.
