@fendermac I agree with this. Groove > technicality. Though I would love both. I really liked the feel of his lines through this video, and the tone of this bass.

    Nice bass, I want one!!!

Based on looks alone, owning one would definitely set you apart from most other bass players..........might even make the guitar player a bit self-conscious when the bass player has the "flashier" ax.

@MrROTD The inlays are called MOTO (Mother of Toilet seat). Its a joke because the material was used in those flashy toilet seats from the 70's/80's

@hibikus311 I second that, I really enjoy his reviews, as well as his playing. He's not trying to be flashy like so many other reviewers and showcases the different sounds of an instrument very well.

Not quite... he just really likes that kind of thing to demonstrate. They are different lines if you analyse them carefully but they all have a very similar feel...

I'm just inferring that from his comment about the bridge 4:48 It's more a question than a statement.

I'm hoping to get one of these.
Partly because Jack White's guitar was an airline.

That would be a good reason _not_ to get one.

@Kadadj why not?bassists may want to play bass because they love to hold the band together with the drummer, maybe they love the low end sounds of the bass, maybe they wanted to fill that void of bassists for bands(really not that many people pick up a bass instead of a guitar because of how easy a guitar is to pick up and play-dont complain about that-im just saying that its easy to pick up and play and decades to master..).really 500 characters isn't enough to explain why people play the bass.

Vin Tastic hi from the future. Yeah flatwounds so way better on these cause coil strings make it sound way to buzzy and thin

most shortscale he said.. and i think its most "cheap" shortscale.
and that they are harder to intonate than tune o matic bridges.. so the areny out of tune but badly intonated.
