- After losing in the Eastern Conference finals last year and the NBA finals the year prior it felt like the Celtics current core had peaked. So this past offseason they went out and acquired Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday to help support Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Those additions paid dividends as the Celtics had the best record in the league and one of their best in franchise history. In the playoffs the Celtics have been just as dominant, but have not yet been teste. Today we talk about if anyone can stop the Boston Celtics.

Anything less than a championship is a disappointment. Anything less than a finals appearance is a failure.
I guess we're just gonna forget all the experience the main guys got against GSW and getting unlucky with injuries last year against the Heat too. As a C's fan, there's no excuse this year, but I hate this argument. Every team in the league that wins the chip at the end gets lucky somehow. I'm way more concerned about Minny than I was about Denver this year once the playoffs started.
Boston just has to make sure their mentality is right and their defense is sharp

I think the Celtics will still win it all, but you're right. I'm a Cavs fan, and I thought it was weird that 3 out 4 Celtics wins vs us was less than 15 points. That's kind of a red flag.

He’ll be back for the conference finals. Also, Tatum can guard Siakam as well as Brown. Turner is the bigger question mark, and even then, Horford can cover till KP gets back.

The entire eastern conference is a joke and the Celtics haven't face a serious opponent all post-season. It's beyond bizarre to me that anyone could be taking them seriously. They beat a hobbled heat team that was missing Butler, Jacques, and Rozier, and then a Cavs team that was even more injured. It doesn't matter who comes out of the east because the entire conference is a joke.

The only 2 games they lost, while at home, came because the other team drastically outperformed their usual 3PT averages, You quite literally need to hit damn near 50% of your 3s to beat this team, even then Miami only won by 10 hitting all those 3s and Porzingis being 1/9 from the field
If the Cavs were healthy they would win that series. They didn’t mention Jarrett Allen was out the entire series.

If Tyrese gets Myles the ball and a Myles starts feeling it Celtics could go 1-1 or even 0-2 at home and then I know they’re undefeated on the road this playoffs and since April but pacers are undefeated at home since March. Okay let’s not discredit that run. They still had to beat the KD-Kyrie nets which everyone expected a 7 game series, it was a sweep. They had to battle a very good Bucks team which required them to win game 6 in MIL. The Miami series was a genuine battle for them and they came out on top. They faltered in the finals for mainly nagging injuries accrued during the Miami series (Tatum separated his shooting shoulder which everybody forgets,) and they just were gassed after two 7-game series.
If you want discredit now, go ahead. That said, that C’s 2022 run was great for them even if they didn’t close the deal.

They play against all teams in the NBA and have been to ECF for the 5th time in 7 years. If that is untested then every team in the league is untested.

All four remaining teams have not won a championship in the past decade, and are lead by 26-and-under year olds who have never won a championship.
