So this is what Peloton technicians want to charge me $400 to do. Disassemble when moving from my old house. And reassemble at my new house. Thanks! You just saved me $400!
SukjeetHundal those smaller screws require a 3mm allen wrench. the larger screws require a 8mm allen wrench. Another tip the video doesn't show is popping off the bottom rail covers, go from the center of the bottom. I scratched mine up trying to pop them off from the sides like in this video, but they come off much easier from the prying from the bottom. Lastly, be careful with the cables in the side rail. One of the cables slid down inside of the rail and I had to pull the wires out completely and put them through again, but happy to say I was able to get it back together and running smoothly after a bit of effort and being moved from one room to another.
You can do either. If you are transporting the treadmill I would suggest taking the screen off so it doesn’t get damaged in transit. if you are just moving to another room in the house you can leave it on.
How do you put the top part with the screen back on the 2 legs? We reconnected the wires but they’re not going back through the side of the machine! Let me know please!
We are having a real problem putting the top frame with screen back into bottom frame because of the wiring. Do you have a picture of how the wiring "fits" when trying to slide top frame to bottom frame? Thanks in advance
I can’t get the arm with the wires back on. I’m afraid of pinching/clipping the wires but they keep getting in the way when I’m trying to put the two pieces back together.
Putting the treadmill on an angle is handy if you are moving it around the same room or to get it onto a truck, but if you are using a trolley or carrying it you don’t need to do this. You also don’t have to remove the screen, this was done on this one to prevent it from breaking
If you raise the incline before pulling it apart you can lift from the back of the machine and wheelbarrow it. Alternatively you can tip it up straight and move with a trolley. If you need to lift into a trailer I would put the back in first then lift the heavy end in (motor end) Best to have at least 2 people for this. Hope this helps 💪
@@FitnessEquipmentHowTo thank you! So do you think that granted I have 2-3 people helping that I can get away with moving it still assembled ?(probably take off the screen display only) and then would possibly go with #1 of ur suggestions which is wheeling it and then somehow lifting it up and down out the truck?
@danielleprendergast Yes most definitely. If lifting fully assembled you would need at least 4 people just to be safe. The majority of the weight is at the front where the motor is so this end will need to most muscle
The people who put mine together tightened the ones on my screen so tight I couldn’t get the screen off with my torque wrench. May have to use my drill

No worries at all, happy to help 💪

Thanks Scott 💪
I came to the comments looking for this exact answer! We couldn’t figure out what size Allen wrench to use on these screws! Thank you!
Thanks, just helped me out on a removal for a gym, 1 down, 19 more to go 😂
That’s awesome, by number 5 you’ll be an expert 😂💪
It wasn't clear from the video but do you remove the uprights with the monitor attached? Or do you remove that separately?

Helpful video, thank you! When reassembling, how do you get the larger plastic parts back in? I can’t seem to get it to fit without bending it
There is no real trick to it, it’s just trial and error
How did you get the bottom screws out the one you used the drill for? I’ve tried every torx and hex drill bit I can think of. Which on did you use?
Should be a standard Allen key size
Would it have been possible to just leave the left stand on as not to thread out the cables? So the top and left leg stay as one piece? Thanks!
Yes most definitely, that’s actually the way we do it most of the time. We showed both uprights removed to cover all bases for the video

The frame should just slot back in and the wiring should have a little area to “sit in”

No sorry, didn’t take any video of that
How do you remove the tablet
4 screws at the back of the tablet

Same here. Did you get it to work?
Any videos on how to remove the screen ?
No but it’s actually pretty simple. It’s only a few screws at the back holding it in place
Tengo una camindora pelotón como hago para a actualizar software
This would be done through wifi and settings
So you don’t remove the screen? Also Peloton instructions say to angle the tread before moving… is this true?
No

Any tips on moving the tread base? Need to get it on a U-Haul

@@FitnessEquipmentHowTothank you, moving today, may give this a try!
@danielleprendergast
Excellent. Good luck 🤞💪

That happened to mine too! I called Peloton and they had a recall on this problem. They sent replacement parts for free.
