I wasn't convinced by episode VII, but episode VIII totally hooked me to them and episode IX broke me. I mean I understand it would have been difficult to let him live after all he's done but jeez. I just wanted him to live.
This video is a mess, i wanted to use way too many footages and quotes i think but inspiration flowded. Also couldn't wait for HD movie.
I'm confident he will return someday.
ALL we need is a GOOD script or Novel to continue Reylo story

can i also add that i'm so bored with the idea that a "villain" can't be redeemed/forgiven without dying in the end. sure Ben (or Kylo if you want to be specific) did some awful things, but i think it's ridiculous to think that he couldn't have been forgiven for them and then spent the rest of his life trying to make amends. i just can't get past the fact that so many people are saying that he had to die because his past actions had been just too horrible. to me it sounds like people are saying: we can forgive you--but only to this point. so then it's like where is the point that we collectively decide is too far? Idk if what i'm saying is making sense, but i needed to vent. hope that's okay that i vented on your vid!
i completely agree with you, it's honestly lazy storytelling on the writers' parts. they could've made it work, the whole point of kylo was to show the differences to anakin's storyline, but they ended up just making it the same which completely defeated the purpose and ugh i really hated his death

Thats totally whats on my mind.. in the end he did his job, become the last hope, saving more people and entire galaxy more than what he did in the past, he still young.. he can use the rest of his life serving others and make up what he did in the past..

Using the knowledge of both the light and dark, there will be a new order of force wielders to defend the galaxy, known as SKYWALKERS.
Also, Luke still easily interacts with the physical world, so there's no reason why Ben couldn't do the same. They're both Jedi, both one with the Force.

Hear me out. Have Rey go through “Dante’s Inferno” to get Ben back, or vice versa with Ben trying to fight his way out of “purgatory”. Just adapt that narrative, with a few liberties of course, for Star Wars. Bad idea?

Also it wouldn't have been hard for him to live anonymously on some far away planet, with another identity since in reality he *couldn't* truly use the Skywalker name anymore without someone putting 2 and 2 together and figuring out who he was. Besides he deserved a chance to make up for his sins by *atonement* by doing good deeds.

In-consistence is his middle name, why do people think he is a good villain, or even character? His good attributes died when EP VII ended.
Ben should have survived.The last scene could be Ben and Rey working together to protect a planet, end slavery or the rest of the first order ... just they watching each other and smiling would have been enough for me to be sure they would end together. The relationship was too complicated and perhaps Disney didn't want to be criticised about encouraging a toxic relationship.
