- Hi to everyone!
I'm back with a new AMV, and as previously said to someone, this time I'm proposing something quite new for me.
Ok, this is not the first time I make a Multi-Anime AMV, but surely it's the first one without one of the three major series of my channel.
The truth is that I tried many times to make videos with some of the Sabatons' best songs, but I wanted to use some pertinent animes.
And now that I found what I was searching for, expect more videos like this in the next months.

ah that anime was an isekai, using more modern tactics against opponents in pre bronze era warfare, the phalanx was an unknown alien formation to them
especiallly a phalanx with on an open feld with no cavarllery support or anything else to support.
and who the frick orders to do a phalanx formation in an open feld with no support what so ever
@@zirocool94 fair enough. both sides are idiots. they shouldn't form a phalanx without something to protect their flanks. and the other side shouldn't charge straight into said phalanx.

Who had the great idea of charging a phalanx with chariots by the front?!? They're not even heavily armored!
In that show the world is in the bronze age, but the main protagenist is someone from our time that has access to th internett. So the entire show is like that. It might sound cool, but the story is nothing special, the animation is dog shit, most of what they do makes little sense. Oh, and lets not forget its a harem anime, but the main character follows the trope of not doing anything with the harem, but thats a good ide further in the story, when his harem includes children. Al in al, its perhaps one of the worst animes I have watched that took itself seriously.

This made me remember Grancrest Senki existed; I was watching it while new episodes were airing and literally forgot about it. I'll go watch it.
At all it's a good one but that NTR shit in I think ep9 just ruined the whole mood for me and then this guy actually forgives her at the end, these 2 reasons just stop me from rewatching.

This is possibly the best AMV I have seen. There’s a pretty good case for a certain viva la vida amv with animations from Code Geass , but this is even better

Awesome. I am going to have to watch these shows. I find that after knowing the context of some of the scenes it really strengthen the videos.

@Ciaran Sandelin grandcrest war is a pretty good one for stuff like that too I would recommend it if you don’t mind some magic but not so much that it makes battle scenes. It’s more like a few lightning bolts here and there
Grandcrest is nice, sad it’s a bit short but hey good nonetheless
Yay there are never enough AMV´s with Vanadis and grancrest, now Kingdom, angolmois valkyria chronicles and all the other senki shows and you can amvisualize the whole of Sun tzu´s art of war ^^.

Love it. The subtitles could have used a better color to make them stand out more, but over all, -very- good!
A white outline / border would have made all the difference.

@@robertcbarry The Song is about the first Battle of Breitenfeld 1631, with Swedes, Saxons & Protestants on the winning and the Catholic League & Bavaria on the losing side. The battle is a part of the thirty years war and the swedish war.

Those big bazonkers are actually a tactical advantage for two reasons. One, they absorb impacts from physical blows. Two, they distract the enemy and give you an advantage.
Nice army comps in these anime. See a lot of greek phalanx and spear wall tactics used in this vid.

Having seen all the anime mentioned in this AMV can only say going to recover them because some of them have protagonist characters done well and with good growth as they let's look at their adventures, among other things, one of these Anime is set in a medieval Europe with lots of magic like Skyrim to understand each other

Really enjoyed Grandcrest. The ending was really rushed but I was glad that at least it had an ending.
Very good anime the ending was a bit fast and maybe a tad unsatisfying but overall not bad very good army on army combat

Personally:
Lord Marksman and Vanadis: 1 my more favorite animes
Grancrest Senki: unfortunately to me bad story + characters (1 of 4 animes I just couldn't watch much due to dislike)
The Master of Ragnarok: Great anime (though more so if you into harem-esq)
Vatican Miracle Examiners: Never heard of surprisingly enough

Aren't chariots meant to be primarily a 'ride by' ranged platform for archers and javelin throwers, or if used in melee, used mainly against lose formations and for pursuit of running enemies?

If it’s grand crest war they where all from different cultures and the cav that the cloth as armor where desert people. And they could be from different anime’s
I mean if you've seen some of those archers and what weapons they are packing. You'd give them full plate and then some.

I would like to say as someone that watched at least two of these animes all the way through they are not typical heroic fantasy genre. Lord Marksmen and Vandis, and Record of Grancrest War focus on military aspects and tactics then overwhelming magic. Granted they do have magic, but its not a trump card only a force multiplier if used correctly. So I ask that you at least look up animes before labeling them as "Japanese typical heroic fantasy garbage." Because I can assure you that generic fantasy animes don't have to deal with character deaths.
I dunno about Vinland Saga, it's so over the top that you kind of lose sight of the setting. Would have liked to see Junketsu no Maria, though, which actually has some of the most accurate portrayal of medieval european combat and equipment (notably the 14th century/hundred years war) out of any medium.

Seriously, nobody thought to have this happen at a chokepoint or have the infantry form a circle or something? Though I do have to give them credit for not having the soldiers randomly have duels with each other with no formation whatsoever.
They are both kinda tactical idiots there use a flank with the chariots and cover your flanks

I know this ain’t related to the vid but isn’t it annoying when the leader or main characters stands in front of the entire army and an archer volley happens and they never seem to go for the guy with some colorful hair and glowing armor
