      I just got one of those today! I wanted an E-Impact for light auto work, and thought shit why not...you have to be careful though cause Walmart had 2 versions of the same deal ($94) but one on the shelf only came with 1 battery. The extra batteries retail at $60 too btw so it's a good deal

      @@jackman1989 From what I saw you can only get their brushless impact in a kit for $180. Otherwise you can buy their brushless drill individually for like $100. I'm Kinda pissed cause I wanted a cheap impact, and I couldn't find Hart's 1/2 inch cordless and didn't feel like paying double when I really only wanted the 1...

    I saw how cheap the were selling these at Walmart but my wife wouldn’t let me consider them because they felt cheap. I had to agree with her. I ended up going with a Milwaukee 1/2 inch socket impact driver with a couple 5 amp hour M18s and a charger for a bit over $300. Buy once, cry once. Impressive
    I picked up the hyper tough 7pc 20v set
    Drill/driver ( about as good as a b+d)
    Impact. (1300 inch/lbs)
    Sawzaw
    Work light
    2 1.5 amp/hr batteries
    For $25-$15 depending on store on clearance. Yah I know it’s hyper tough but I am just a DIY not a contractor
    I got to now see if the hyper tough impact can handle lug nuts now.

    100 bucks for a craftsman drill and driver combo kit that comes with 2 batteries and charger. Used the impact driver to take off the wheels of my 2500 with the 2.0 amp hr battery. Use my craftsman all the time working on semi's. If your wanting to get into power tools and cheap id go with craftsman, you can get bigger batteries on amazon and you have more power tool options like impact wrenches, drills, bluetooth radios, lights, hell even a leafblower and shop vac. Even for a diy person id rather go with craftsman just because you get 2 power tools, 2 batteries, and a charger and spend just a little more money.

    It's $54 for a 2:00 amp hour Hart battery. The only reason I bought the Bauer when I did two years ago it's because the batteries were $20 for 1.5 amp hour and 35 for a 3 amp hour. I have a handful of Milwaukee DeWalt and Makita tools that I don't use because the batteries are so expensive

    • @terrybrown5402

      @@terrybrown5402 yep and 10 years ago when a battery cost $180 for 2 Amazon and eBay weren't selling knock-offs and they had a special chip in them that prevented other batteries from working. I even made batteries and it didn't work. I ended up charging the batteries using my model airplane lithium battery charger. Worked real good until the batteries crapped out.
      If I was going to recommend anybody buy anything to use I'd say go with DeWalt. Not because they're the best but they're all over pawn shops. Now as far as buying new goes, I've drilled through half inch steel with my Bauer no problems whatsoever and my grinder I was able to cut springs when I had broken Springs on a car I was about to jump so they didn't turn off the tires. I can't imagine much else you can do with them.
      That one I did Construction and I was climbing telephone poles and using my 18 volt Makita to drill through a pole oh, I don't think the Bauer would do that. What a loan 20 or 30 of them a day on a single charge. But for anything I can do around the house I don't see him breaking anytime soon and if they do I can buy parts for him in the batteries are dirt-cheap if I don't touch him for 10 years

    • @inoahmann7542
      @inoahmann7542 4 роки тому +1

      They start to hit way harder after some heavy use. Drive 20 or so 4in deck screws then all the grease will be removed from the hammer and anvil so it'll hit harder. Somtimes these impacts are way over packed with grease to make them weaker (and quieter) so they don't interfere with the sales of higher end tools from the same company. You only need a tiny bit of grease for front of the drill. It's only for the bushings not the impact components. So pop off the front cover and if its packed solid scrape out a fair bit of it. Then it should hit super hard.

    • @spidesol

      @@spidesol I took some of the grease out of my ryobi and it definitely hits way harder now. I'm might make a youtube video about how to make one of these drivers hit harder. I'll let you know if I do.

      @inoahmann7542 4 роки тому

      @@spidesol bummer, I'm gonna do some research and hopefully make a video in the next few days. It could also have something to do with the bit your using. If the bit has excessive slop it can weaken the impact. Also try a chrome socket as they are harder but you have to be more careful because they are much easier to break.
