Well, I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered and I don't know where to go here out of devastation.

The safest approach I feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.

Word is, it’s much worse than that.
Immigrant labor supplants domestic workers, part-time jobs over full-time jobs…and if course…the inevitable downward revision to previous non-rosy reports.
    Thanks FJB…

The offshoring of Information Technology (IT) jobs not only threatens U.S. job security but also increases risks like data breaches, as offshore workers handle sensitive information. Additionally, fake job listings created by offshore individuals are becoming more common, leading to scams and exploitation of U.S. citizens, green card holders, and graduates. This misuse, along with Corp-to-Corp (C2C) contract abuse, leaves the local workforce vulnerable in an already shrinking job market. Despite the impact on both job security and data privacy, these issues receive little public attention. Policymakers and industry leaders must act to safeguard American jobs and sensitive data.

And the explaining for their BS begins. Obvious do not do any REAL research or analysis. Wait until the office and commercial mortgage mess is revealed . Including private equity positions that cannot cash flow their debt

Why do we fear recessions? It’s a necessity for prices to stay in check. Recession happens, demand drops and so so prices. People take advantage of the lower prices, demand increases and so do jobs. Rinse and repeat. Recessions keep the market honest

One year ago a strong jobs number or higher inflation rate would have sent the markets falling, now the opposite is true.

I expected this kind of cooked data because of elections nearing after elections you see many revisions from the end of last year's jobs data and you hear US entered a recession in Q1 2024 itself as they did in 2006 to 2008 GFC

Recession comes with expansion if you are well prepared and equipped. I've seen folks on verified posts that turned millionaires amid economic downtrend, and even pull it off easily in a favorable economy, it all boils down to proper asset allocation.

A lot of folks downplay expertise assistance until being burnt by their own emotions, no offense. I remember 4 years ago, amid covid-outbreak, I needed a good boost on my finance, hence researched for licensed advisors and thankfully came across one with grit. As of today, my cash reserve has yielded from $350k to nearly $1m notwithstanding inflation.
