My homemade brush cleaner recipe works for any cleaning schedule since it makes enough solution for soaking sessions (my preferred method of cleaning) or daily spraying. Whichever method you choose, go with something that’s doable for you.

I'd watch anything really :) But I am looking for the best method of cleaning a hairbrush :) I've tried using toothbrush but I still see dirt on the bristles. Looking for a natural solution where i'd just dip my brush in a bowl and it will clean all of the gunk. And I clean my hairbrush every time I wash my hair so brushing it every single time is a chore. Not to mention ruining the bristles too. Thank you! x

After removing as much loose hair from your hairbrush as possible, take the brush into the shower with you as well as a nail brush. Wet the brush, then add a drop of shampoo to the bristles of the nail brush and scrub your hairbrush bristles with it. The nail brush will get in between the rows of bristles on the hairbrush easily and scrub off any leftover hair products, etc...Of course you can also do this in the sink but doing it while you're in the shower will save some water. Hope this helps. :)
