Jack's Path. Sounds like a great title for a children's book. In Braille also.
That's a good idea! 💡 😊
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant idea!
Yes!
Genius idea.
Sounds like Jackpot
I have a 12 year old Havanese who began going blind 18 months ago. He’s now totally blind and this video taught me some things that it would have been nice if my vet had been able to teach me as I was beginning to deal with his blindness. I’m going to begin “touch” right away, because it makes me sad to see him startle when I reach down to let him. He’s lost interest in toys, but perhaps if we have “Jasper’s path”, that will change. What a gift this video has been to us!
Is your dog named Jasper? That's my name as well and i was very confused for a moment there. xD I hope you and your dog are very happy and thank you for making this world a better place!
She is a great example of a dog mum! Maybe you could reach to her by mail in order to get more tips? Or there might be somewhere an association of blind dogs owners to which you can talk? I salute your love and dedication to your dear dog. We are not always helped as we should be by professionals, indeed... I wish all the best improvements for your darling and lots of cuddles for you both!
You can enrich Jasper's life with those tips and incorporating more sound and food related activities. This was late for me (mine all passed.) but, these cues/ commands are genius and I know there is a blind baby waiting in my future. Best to your baby. Remember Jasper lives for your love. Toys play walks are extra, cuddling, sweet talks and belly rubs are the magic he lives off of. Good mommy BLESSINGS ❤️
I wish you and Jasper the very best. I'm sure you 'll figure it out. Yes this video was a gift in many ways. I really needed that warmth today
@@alkante2962 Yes trying to reach out to her would be a very good idea. She sounds like a wonderful person who d only be happy to help
This dog is just a ball of love and cuteness
Thanks for watching!
Wrong!!!
It's a sausage if love and cuteness 🙂
@@harnes64 true!
I know right :)
@@GeoBeatsAnimals you are a sweet wonderful lady I’m so happy for him to have you
i admire people so much, who take care of animals with special needs.
Some dogs hardly need it so its extremly a breeze when people help them
Thank you so much for that😊😊😊😊 our sweet lil babygirl went both blind and deaf nearly at the same time and we were heartbroken for our baby. I miss our sweet lil babygirl Misty everyday...I wish we could go back in time to the very first day she ever came to live with us in her furrever home...best day ever...I wish we could go back to that time....
Jack is awesome. He landed with the right mom, thats for sure
Right time and place.
Right!? I want her to be my mom.
@@michelleevans7637 damn. You okay?
@Kim Smith LMFAO devil's advocate eh? Such a weird Hill to die on.
@Kim Smith oh, you're confused and think I started this thread, or the deviation in conversation. Must be frustrating, but at least it's a great opportunity for you to share weirdly personal information on UA-cam. Again, SUCH a weird Hill to die on.
I adopted a blind and deaf dog that was 10 years old nobody wanted..
She was just used as a breeder dog..
She lived another 8 years , I never moved anything in the house because she was used to where everything was...
Bless you for opening your heart and home!!
God bless you and shower you with His care..for this loving kindness you showed...it is the abused, neglected, injured...that need compassion.
Most breeders are vicious people interested only in money...I'm so glad you gave that doggie 8 more years of life...Kudos to you...blind and deaf is not easy to care for.
@@sudhakhristmukti1930 Im thankful at least some seem to have a heart. Otherwise the dogs would be available for adoption in the first place
God bless you!
This lady's patience, persistence and willingness to understand and work with Jack is beyond!
It seems that Jack couldn't have found anyone better to take him into their home and as it turns out I don't think you could have found a better puppy than Jack. if only every pet owner could learn a lesson from people like you..
People like you who write such lovely things and ME too. We are all so lucky to have loving hearts and appreciation.
Jack is a treasure and God bless his Mom!
And god bless his mom and jack too
Aww, I immediately smiled when watching Jack. He’s adorable. There should be more people in this world like Jacks lovely caring owner.
She seems like such an awesome mom for Jack! So glad she adopted him!
The "touch" and him just instantly rolling over.... 😍😍😍
My heart!!! ❤️
Thanks for watching!
@@GeoBeatsAnimals I have a deaf chihuahua
We had a senior male doxie rescue that had congenital blindness, he seemed to have been mistreated or ignored in his early years, he was not a seeker of human companionship, but he was a smart boy. He mapped out our home in the way a blind creature will, by using landmarks he would contact with his nose. His greatest joy was our backyard, totally fenced and secure, he would romp and pronk like a gazelle, once he had it mapped and it was all his, no other dogs to be wary of. It was amazing to see him going breakneck and stop dead just before contact with a wall or fence- it was as if he counted his steps and knew precisely when to stop.
The real life daredevil we needed but never deserved. He sounds like a super good boy
You two were definitely destined to be together.
You totally get each other.
He's such an awesome doggie.
Great video guys.
Thanks for watching!
Jack amazes me. I liked when you said "find mom". He has found a loving home with you.
God bless that little Jack and the woman who saved him.
Amen Amen!!
My heart is melting! I love Jack’s sweet little face, he’s so confident and happy! God bless Jack and his mom.
Jack and his Mama are a pair made in Heaven!! Bless her for finding and adopting Jack, and for giving him a chance at at safe, long, LOVED life!! Cheers to you both!!!
LORD GOD bless this dog and his owner
Jacks Path💕 And when you say, ‘Touch’ and he readies himself for pets, omgosh that was soo sweet.
I’m so glad that GOD moved things out of the way so Jack had a clear path right into your life☺️
Damn.... Just put my mascara on.... And it's not waterproof! What a wonderful story ❤️❤️🇮🇹
Lolol! Relatable.
Thank you for rescuing him. Dogs with disabilities need and deserve love too. Jack is so sweet!
What a wonderful caring woman. He's so lucky he found her.
They rescue us. We don't realize we're missing companionship until one of these angels touch our lives and hearts.
Wonderful. I have adopted four rescued Dachshunds over the years, they are some of the best dogs around. Jack is a real sweetie and lots of fun! You are BOTH lucky!
Onions onions everywhere. Awww I'm so glad Jack found someone to love him and spoil him.
Thanks for watching!
This just warms my heart...how lucky they found each other!
This fine lady is so, so considerate.
"We make sure there's never anything in his way" the way they're taking care of him OMG 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A friend also had a blind dog..... he lived a happy life until one day his family lost him. Jack has such beautiful round eyes, I feel they can see...thank you Jack's mom for your care...you are a special person!
I lost my sweetie (toy fox terrier) back in November. She was 4 months short of being 17 years old. She was totally blind due to cataracts with other physical diseases. She also would snuggle, sleep, and sit with our other dog an American bulldog. She started doing that with him when we got him 11 years ago.
It's just like having a crawling baby. I did the same thing. Leaving are things where they were and making sure other things were out of her way.
Have you heard of Muffin's Halo?
I got my dog one and it really helped her.
Another thing that helps is dog goggles/doggles (on Amazon).
The weather, the wind, the sun would make her flinch when she was outside. Wearing the doggles prevented the fear caused by the weather outside.
I recommend those, too.
Your sweetie is so special.
We adopted a blind dog 6 years ago, she is not scared of anything, such a brave girl. She loves all people and all dogs.
Living with her is actually easier than expected and we are super happy she is part of our life.
I am definitely not crying. What a cute boi. And what a great human being. ❤
This actually has me crying. I'm a veteran a big man 6ft 1 in. 240 lbs I owned a daughtson that lived for 17 years she passed away a couple of years ago. My heart has never healed from loosing my Rascall . She did everything with me eat sleep go for walks. I have always been a very tough guy but this little dog reduced me to a Crybaby. I fear no man but the thought of losing the best friend I've ever had just tears my heart out to this day. Rascall Dad misses you so much please know that I will never forget about you ever and I will love you until the day I die.
Jack is loved and having the best time of his life with his sweet momma 💗 So beautiful !!!
It's a rare scenario that you cry and feel happy at the same time and this video gives you that.
Jack is gorgeous, wow you have done a terrific job, well done. Great video thanks 💖😁
I've had two blind horses & they were both amazing. Special needs animals are an experience I highly recommend. You will never be short of inspiration, that's for sure. It's incredibly rewarding!
Much love for sweet Jack and his beautiful adopted Mom 💖💖💖💖
HE IS AN ABSOLUTE CUTIE PIE 🥰 🥧
Thanks for giving this little bugger a safe ….happy and loving home…!!! 🥰🥰🥰
🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾
You are one AWESOME fur baby momma!...Jack is so lucky to have you!...he is so smart! Great story!
I love people that love dogs the way they should be loved!!
Great team and both so lucky to have each other!
this world need good humans like you I apperciated very much and respect
I did some familiar things that you did with your blind dog. I took my Yorkie to have surgery costed 1,000 for each eye. Down the road she became 50% blind in each eye. Then she had cancer in the mouth with a bulge. Cost me $250 for the surgery and a doctor said she when the air hits it it's still going to spread. It gave us 5 months and she was happy. She bleed it out and I had to put her down. RIP Missygirl. 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕
Hes just prescious... thank you for taking him in and loving him...hes something really special..
Jack is precious💖 What a sweetheart!
That woman is an angel!! And what a lovely doggy
Love is all the things this wonderful lady described she does for her puppy baby. It’s not the acts but the intention, action and consistency of her acts that makes love, ❤️.
This is why we say some people are even better than angels !
Nooo.. They are Angels.. No one can be better than Good.. 😉😇
And excellent is just the finest form of Good.. 🙏
@@bakabecoolplanet6055 My friend , angels can't be bad at all and cant choose to do wrong things but human beings are free to choose between good and bad , right and wrong. This is why some people are even better than the angels.
@@ivandasty277 ok dude.. Evil himself is a banned angel..
And human can choose to be angels or demons.. Whatever the choice they made they can't be better than angels or more bad than demons... Peace..
What an absolutely adorable dog and what a lovely, special owner.
There is a special place in Heaven for people who take care of another living creature that has special needs. And weenie dogs truly are the best. ❤️
Jack didn't need his sight to find the love in your heart, sometimes we just know who is the right one for us, and Jack found his wonderful loving mom, right at the end of his precious nose. Bless you both🌭🐶🥰❤
it's so sweet and smart of her to teach him keywords like "touch" and "loud noise" to make sure he feels safe. what a wonderful owner.
He is a loving caring dog
Although he is blind
God bless you for adopting and caring for him
Oh.. my” he’s adorable! I love him..’ such blessed to having him in your life..’
She always has jack’s needs in mind. Love it ♥️ best mom
Jack is so adorable 💖
Im happy he has such a good owner God bless this woman
Thanks for watching!
This dog reminds me of my dog who had this condition for 7 years n yet she was amazing she was like daredevil with the radar sense .Unfortunately she fell from the balcony n died due to a firecracker which caused her to loose her tracks . Thanks for uploading this video means for lot for a owner who lost a dog with similar conditions. God bless you young lady .😘
Precious little boy.. His "cookie spin" gets me every time, that's so adorable..
I’m so glad He Is Having Fun and Enjoying his new Home And Jack Has the best Mom I’m so glad He’s okay🥺🤍🤍
He loves you so much too. There is nothing better than a mom who loves you and understands you.
Good on you MOM
God bless you for being a wonderful Mom for Jack. Prayers and best wishes for both of you.
Jack is a beautiful dachshund and you are a godsend for him. All of us animal lovers are so thankful there are people like you who are happy to adopt handicapped animals. You have my utmost respect. I can see Jack loves you and is a happy dog.
Aww, such a good boy even with his difficulties. My doggo "dippy" passed on May, 20th 2019. The most special thing that'd ever happened to me and quite unique his b-day is the day before mine July 3rd, Mine is the 4th. Probably A once-lifetime thing right there nothing has been the Same. . RIP to that little dude 2009-2019. 😞
Our little rescue dachshund was a breeder dog as well. Because of a severe overbite he was considered unsellable. Poor little Tipsy spent his first six months of life in a cage. He has become perfectly settled in our home, although he hates strangers. Thanks to the Canadian Dachshund Rescue Society for our little treasure. Such a bundle of love. If anyone is thinking of getting a dog, I strongly suggest rescue is the way to go. We’ve since rescued a cat, five years old and ejected from her home. She has her “forever home” now.
He is so sweet
He's found his forever home no doubt
As long as things(furniture especially)don't get moved around he'll be fine just like a blind person
Gives me a warm feeling just watching them together. Special people deserve a special furry sidekick.
Jack's Responses to commands & sounds is jst Incredible!
All credit to u. KUDOS
This story had me in tears; it is so poignant and sweet. What a wonderful woman this owner is, to have adopted this blind dog and then set out to learn everything she could about how to enlist his trust in her. It's so very inspiring! She is perfect for Jack, and he is perfect for her. It's a beautifully co-dependent relationship!
I'm so glad Jack has THIS mom! You two are a perfect fit. And seeing him do bouncies and twirl for a cookie and trying to get the cat to play! So funny! Jack is a gem! 😊🐾♥️
You dear sweet compassionate woman...sending you and Jack a special hug from India...I am SO proud of you! You've made his life such that he enjoys having fun...and THAT is your real success! God bless you...!
Having rescued and raised over 11 stray cats and over 18 dogs through a period of 40 years... in a place where there is no veterinary care and medicines available ( nearest is 40 kms away..)only mornings till noon...closed Sundays..no such thing as emergency treatment -
it was more than a challenge! But a joyous experience to give them a secure freedom...they were indoors..outdoors in the front porch and backyard..and safe from the ugly fights with other dog-gangs or being run over from road traffic...we have no 'shelters' as you have...few adopt street dogs...sadly they 'buy' pedigree like Alsatians, German Shepherds etc. while right in front of them are emaciated, injured dogs that need rescue, love and care in secure homes. Wish I could share with you pics of those dogs that not only survived, but thrived, and most of them lived upto 16 years...3 of them upto 18...!! Bow-wow was an injured puppy neighborhood kids brought to me years ago...I already had many..but this helpless puppy was homeless. She was so fragile..but after ear-treatment and lots of care and love...she grew up to be a huntress! Gosh...she was so gentle with humans but would kill snakes! She lived to be 16. Since 2 years I have with me Baby-Simba, 10 yr old street dog..her ribs showed, part of her tongue had been cut off by some other vicious dog, left front leg was deformed from a prior untreated injury, and a prolapsed uterus when I found her. Now she is a bundle of joy...though she had never lived in a home..she never climbs onto the bed or sofa ( after being told only once or twice) or grab food from the kitchen or table...she enjoys being indoors and outdoors...may God give her many happy senior years of health and peace..last night it rained heavily so came indoors..now is out chasing squirrels under the cloudy sky!
Omg... Ur an angel. Thank you for bring lots of love and happiness in his life. :-)
This lady is really great owner and angel heart , thank you so much for loving cute Jack 🙏😇🥰
He's a lucky dog to have your love and care.
thanks for believing in him & giving him life & love he's so precious xxxooo
What a great woman! Jack is adorable.❤
What an awesome dog! Reminds me of my Peaches that I lost last September! She was not blind, but she was very close to me. She died of congestive heart failure, but I kept her as long as I could! She told me she was tired of feeling bad and to let her go. I still miss her everyday! She was my girl!
Awww! Jack is absolutely precious! And her other dachshund is such a cutie pie! 😘😘😘🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for giving him a chance. He's absolutely beautiful and he loves you so much.
He’s such a cute little angel bless him 😊❤️ my little “ Lucky girl “ is my fur grand baby and she’s a rescue and I love her so much when we first got her she was so timid but she’s not now she’s my girl I’ve always said to her that “ I want some belly love “ and she rolls over on her back so I can get my belly love . She never fails to me my belly love and I don’t know what we would do without her ! 😊❤️
She is the perfect mom for this dog
Look at hiiim- he acts so much like my childhood pet dachsie Cinnamon. So precious.
It´s so nice of this woman to adopt a blind dog. I hope the Universe notices this fine gesture!
Awe. What a sweety, give him a hug for me. My dashounds send love.
When you said touch, and he fell on his side for belly rubs --- it was so darn cute. He's adorable.
Sweet little love.
Jack is so precious. My heart has melted. I had to save his story.
God Bless You and Jack
He is just so cute, i would cuddle and kiss him all day he is so sweet
Thank you so much for so much of love for lovely Jack ❤️❤️❤️
Dogs learn words fast. Saying *touch*, *Ice*, * phone*, ect.. they will be pick up on it as being safe quickly. Your a beautiful human BTW.
Jack is absolutely precious. You are a wonderful Mom.
He's adorable 🤗. I went through this with my senior dog, she was hard of hearing too. Have my 2nd one getting there.
No words to appreciate you. God bless you.
He's so precious. I love all dogs and animals, but dachshunds have a special place in my heart
Bless you! He seems so happy, secure and loved. TY for this sacrifice. I had adopted a blind dog a deaf and blind dog and had another go blind in senior years. I was amazed how they mapped their paths and never got hurt. Even adapting to hotel rooms relative's homes and new areas was fast and easy or that's how it looked to me. They have rich lives and are so full of life please foster or adopt a special needs animal you will be blessed.
He seems sweet. I’d adopt him too.
I have 😢 in my eyes. My beloved Mo a mini dashound became blind with age. You have given him a beautiful life. God bless you 🙏❤🙌
Jack you are so sweet!
