- From the eye catching logo, to limited product releases, and artist collaborations, Supreme has transitioned from small skateboarding store in New York to a $1 billion dollar streetwear company over the past 20 years. But for its fans, Supreme is more than just a brand - it’s often an obsession and an entire subculture of its own.

Why Supreme Is So Expensive | So Expensive
You know the supreme logo kinda reminds me of the colgate toothpaste logo
Walmart hoodie: 20$
Not gonna lie this whole time I thought Supreme was supposed to be considered a low class brand lmao
Cant wait for “The Rise and Fall of Supreme”.
Clothes: $20
I'm afraid the day Apple and Supreme create a product.
To be honest, I thought all this time that Supreme was a meme thing. I'm actually amazed how people can see something basic that's slapped with a colgate logo is worth hundreds of dollars.
Better explanation:
Supreme: People are stupid
"Eye catching logo"
“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
I like how kids at my school try to flex by wearing a supreme tee when they don’t even know where it came from and don’t realize that it’s nothing to brag about a $38 tee
“Kanye West wore these shoes by Supreme and Nike, I need em now.”
Supreme isn’t expensive
Long story short: Collabs with celebs makes it desirable. Artificial Scarcity greatly increases the resale value.

Idk what's so eye catching wid the supreme logo, looks like colgate
Because people are sheep and want social status through display of wealth
When I was a kid at 15 (before being a professional) I would meet people at Supreme Skate shop. “Supreme” is a skate shop downtown Manhattan. I would show up there at 15 and sit in chair at the shop and watch premier skateboarding videos like “yeah, right” and after it was followed by a girl board toss after every viewing outside. Board tossed in air and grabbed by someone. Then I would head out across all Boroughs and go skating to film. - before supreme was a clothing line it was a skate shop and still is.
dude, i was wearing a fake supreme x lacoste windbreaker and a girl at the jounal stand looked at me and gave a gasp like i was the prettiest thing she ever saw. the money thirst is reaalll.
