The only way you can win Domination is if you are present in an area: If you are present in all 7 regions (with a Fortress and/or at least 1 Unit), you dominate Middle-earth and immediately win the game. so it wouldn't matter if you have opposing figures in the region if you have a tower.
@ Okey, that makes no sense.. its like saying the Dwarfs is the owners of Rohan when Smaug is still in it. They game is 90% map domination. Its more balanced if the tower owner need to knock out the soldiers
Great video! I got in the mood to play this, especially being a huge fan of both the Lord of the Rings and the original 7 Wonders Duel. One question: when playing the evil side, you also get the benefits at your nazgul's position if you get there as a result of Frodo and Sam's movement?
I am so excited for this game.

Ditto! 🎉
Did you miss the first ring symbol?
@@lukasp.840 I guess so
@@lukasp.840ohhh yeah he didn't move it for me!!! Flip the table!!!!
At 19:41 did u forget to move the nazgul on his track?
Yep, some people at the BGG noticed it already.
yea, though I dont *think* it would have changed my outcome
Lucky! Congrats on the review copy!
I basically begged Stefan lol he gave me a left over demo copy after GenCon. It is... well loved already. I think it is pre-production
@@boardgamersteph Stefan Brunelle???
@@boardgamerstephThank you so much for that and this, so we all could know the game in more detail already.
@@BoardInTheHouseBGAplayer haha yeah
@@ACTBOL TY!!
When you win by map domination, lets say good guys has a tower but bad guys has 5 soldiers. Does the good guys get the point for the area?

If 3 soldiers ”take” away the powers of a tower then it gives the other win conditions a chance
@ thanks for answering so fast 😄 we had a big conflict at because of this

There is no real "asymmetric power" - when the evil moves it will cover any bonus that frodo has. so it isn't doubled bonuses for evil
Nice game !!!
do you know what size the cards are? are they the same as 7 wonders?
I think the same size as 7WDuel. But definitely not 7w
… love 7 wonders duel… but forgot the card setup in different ages 😂
Oh this looks very nice. I never liked 7WD much. It always felt like it was missing something
@@elqord.1118 yeah I still enjoy 7W more
Are the graphics final or placeholders?
@@leanderquest this is final graphics so far as I know
Good, because the art is totally incredible
Is there a Solo Variant included in that pre-production copy?
I don't see a solo mode.
@@boardgamersteph Thank you for answering, great video btw!
