@@JohnnyNJonesany conversion plug should be fine as long as you have wiring diagram but original is definitely best and less hair pulling. Even the multi function mics can be wired for it. Also I'd probably check inside the radio to make sure it will key up.
@@gregoryb2999 yeah I’ve got a lot to do with it right now. I’m just trying to get my workspace cleaned up so I can make better looking videos you know what I’m saying. Then I’ll take a look at the thing and see if we can crack it open and fix it 👍
JJ@H what’s up dude!!!! Nice to see you back!!!! Them cb’s are cool👍👍👍. Mystery boxes are always the best……. -Raccoon 601 in Texas with the wave 👋 👋👋👋👋
The Royce R was considered the finest radio money could buy at the time. It’s famously pictured in one of my old Cb radio books from the U.K. RARE very very rare !
You scratched that nice Royce set!!!!!! I would love to have my fingers inside that set and get it running, but it would cost a fortune to get hold of it. I think (though never seen one before) that the power is supplied to the mic via the mic cable. Get a hair cut you scruff, no, stay as you are, it is funnier! lol Good luck in getting the Royce to go without information on it, but you may get lucky. The Realistic is a nice looking set as well, though can be murder to work on! Next box, hurry up, can't wait 🙂 😛
Well, I’m going to change out the protection diode and maybe just maybe it’ll actually function! If not, maybe I can just put it online and you can buy it 👍 Thank you for your nice comments, my friend! And I will keep the scruff for a little while longer 👍
