Mission Control needs a new CB radio

- 9 years was a good run. The Connex CB radio in Mission Control is getting replaced. Marcus at Mesa CB gets the new radio set up and gives us a quick tour of the shop which is under new management and located at the 75 Chrome Shop.

I have a 81 connex 3300 still going strong 💪
I've got an older 3300 also, but changed out the faceplate several years ago for the stars & stripes, with eagles on it. Still going strong also. Road king mic, works best for my voice tone! "Eagle Claw" on da flip.

It should be mandatory that every professional driver have a CB radio in the vehicle. They make all rhese dumb rules but having a CB in the vehicle would be VERY handy.
Them CB radios have saved me a few times, I wouldn't feel safe driving an rig without one.
Gotta agree with ya 100%. A very important piece of safety equipment, for sure.

I passed a lot of hours chatting on the cb with other drivers over the years. Made a lot of friends too. It was a different culture back then, compared to now.
