Making Hydraulic Trencher Powered by a Gas Engine 15hp
- To build a trencher i used a 420cc 15hp petrol engine. I connected a two-section hydraulic pump 22cm3/8cm3 to the engine, the pump section with a capacity of 22cm3 connected to a hydraulic motor driving the digging chain and soil removal augers, I connected the section with a capacity of 8cm3 to the excavator drive and the hydraulic cylinder. To set the speed of the excavator drive and the speed of the hydraulic cylinder, I used an oil flow regulator, Thanks to this, I can smoothly adjust the driving speed and the speed of lowering the arm when digging in the ground. The maximum digging depth is 105cm/41inch.
I made the chain mechanism in the previous video ,
From every bolt, nut, metal plate, square tube, hydraulics, lines, augers, motors, everything is so precisely done and with quality!!! WELL DONE my friend!!! 👏 👍
Thank you 😁
And with many of the tools you've made your self!
@@ich1ban916 👆 😁👍
@@WorkshopFromScratch beautiful work. I love it
No, it isn't. This machine so over-engineered it's painful. For example, what's the point in making the oil reservoir as strong as a bomb shelter? Where's the precision in that?
I love watching these with my 4 year old.
When he sees one of your thumbnails in my recommendations he always tells me to wait and not watch it without him.
Thanks for your excellent videos.
Wow, I'm impressed at how well it works. Nice piece of engineering.
Thank you 😁
Your wife sees you testing the machine and goes like this "I hope you made the machine to fill that back up, the children are going to fall in 😡🤬" 🤣🤣🤣 Awesome build 👍👍👍Thank you for sharing. Take care of yourself, be safe, and healthy 🇨🇦
😂😂 I heard almost the same sentence from my wife, after her rather loud comment I buried this hole faster than with a machine 😂 Thank you 😁
Necessity is the mother of invention. The trencher came out amazing and it looks like it's going to save you a LOT of time! Well worth the effort to make it. It works so well you could go into business making them, or renting it out! NICE WORK!
Looked like a really nice build. Only issue is you should drive the bearing in with a socket that pushing on the part of the bearing meeting resistance. For example around 6:20, the driver should push on the outside ring of the bearing instead of the inside ring (to protect the internals of the bearing itself). Keep up the great work.
You never cease to amaze me, or fail to provide us with awesome content to watch. *Well done* as always. God bless.
[edit]: I wish there was an "extended version" available, to see some of what was edited out to keep the video shorter.
That was a fantastic build!! I think the only part that I would consider changing is the engine as it did sound as if was struggling at times. The things that you build are getting better and better, and the quality has always been there. Thanks for the video 😊👍👍👍👍
Thank you 😁 Yes, the engine has too little power, I suspect that the power written by the seller is greatly overestimated, for sure the use of a branded engine would solve the problem :)
Quick and easy job to get a 1m trench done, impressive!
Thx for showing!
👍👍👍
Can't buy that quality at the farm store, excellent job man..
Thank you 😁
Please say you learned all these amazing skills/craftsmanship on UA-cam and put it all together to put it on UA-cam.
Savage job.
Are you kidding me this man is amazing just makes me think of the waste of conflict of any kind we lose the treasures held by borders ! Amazing engineering!
Great build. Good to see someone who knows how to weld .
Impressive build really, I'd add an emergency stop button. Glad you added the safety guards in.
25 minutes thinking I was watching the Made in Poland channel until the covers went on in orange not blue 😂😂
incredible as always! love watching you make tools and machines!
Thank you 😁
Nadal czekam na czołg. Okoliczne złomowiska muszą Cię uwielbiać. Piękny sprzęt!
Meu amigo visita o nosso pequeno canal obrigado 🙏🤠
Thanks for the great video. By looking at these, you learn solutions for implementing things.
Beats digging by 105cm 😉 and a great build too, very nice work
Quite an impressive build!!! Great deal of well thought out design combined with solid machining and fabrication yields excellent results!!! You can be very proud of that piece of equipment!!!
Thank you 😁 Although the machine works well, there are still a few things to improve and improve :)
Great video! I need one trencher machine to make foundation and build my new house... 👍
Sweet!. You’re giving made in Poland a run for his money, both you guys are awesome at what you do.
Love your videos and I've actually started teaching myself welding with a 10 amp Flux Core Welder purchased from Bunnings Warehouse New Zealand and basic fabrication skills I'm looking at purchasing a 15 amp Plasma Cutter with a built-in compressor so I have a way of cutting metal other than a disc grinder and a hacksaw.
Wow, what an epic amount of work. Well done!
Thank you 😁
Stupendous work! That looks amazing!
That was downright amazing! Good job!
Great Job. Amazing built. One piece of advice. add a rubber curtain on the side to cover the lifting cylinder so that it does not get dirt thrown on it. it will help the seals last a lot longer
Thank you 😁
Beautiful example of top quality engineering. Well done sir!
Thumbs up bro, understanding the machinery, your workmanship and your experience are excellent. love you man
Jak zawsze mistrzostwo świata. Piękna robota. Pozdrawiam
Dziękuje 😁
What unique skill and talent to be able to make, modify, improve, and invent powerfull hydraulic machinery. Well done sir!
Nice and strong job, as usual!
Your level of craftmanship is unmatched. Very nice work and video. Always are though. Look forward to the next project video!!

I'm always very impressed with everything you design and build. Absolutely amazing skills and it came out great. It digs great 👍 awesome video sir.
Thank you 😁
Such an impressive looking Trencher, great design and excellent build quality and performs incredible. All around Amazing.
Thank you 😁
Really great build 👍👍
Should built to drive on. Crazy cool
If this guy gets his hands on some uranium were all in trouble !!
Another excellent video, thanks
Your skill with hydraulics is amazing!
Thank you, but i have very little knowledge of hydraulics, if it wasn't for the help of the seller in the hydraulic shop, I don't know if I would have been able to combine it all :)
Seems to work well. Well done!!
Wow. That works just as good if not better than a commercial one. 👏👏👏
No problem 😁
The cut is way cleaner than a commercial one, but that might be because of the soil type he has.
Wow! If I said ridiculous - It would be in the context of ridiculously good! Very inspiring!!
This is awesome work respect🤝, This machine could dig a foundation trench faster and save time and costs...
Bravo Sir! That’s a fantastic machine well thought out and it executes the work with great precision it appears.
Thank you 😁
Beautiful build. I would be proud to run that machine all day.
Nice job!
Have you had a chance to run it in rocky soil?
Está herramienta está grandiosa 👍
You are a legend in the making 💯
i am very impressed with how well this machine worked. well done
Thank you 😁
Wow Another Awsome Build, It will be a handy machine ,,Godbless
Fajny projekt... Pozdrawiam 👍👍 i czekam na następne cudenko,...

Thanks dude lovely from Tanzania 🇹🇿 ❤️ ❤️ karibu Sana
You skills never cease to amaze me. 👍🏻
Thank you 😁
É muito legal o seu trabalho gostei 👍
Thank you so much for this video!!!❤❤❤
really nice build brother, keep up the great work!
I would expect nothing less from an endless supply of materials.
Veľmi pekna a šikovná si 🥰👍😁
It's so fantastic work! You are incredible
Thank you 😁
This is an amazing work with a maximum trench depth of 105cm and a width of 30cm. I love the ingenuity and what I can only ask is the cost and maybe a list of materials and design specifications 😊. What kind of soil (soft, hard, soft rock, hard rock) can this trench. I know this is dependent on the bits and the cutter type.
I have one of this that I bought from China and after I bought it they said I couldn't use for hard soil.
Bravo, ein Meisterwerk, super, gratuliere.
Awesome..Loved it all..The build and it's purpose 💥👍
Thank you 😁
Seyrettiğim videolar içinde en faydalı olanı tebrikler 👍
Very cool and amazing engineering!
Piękna robota. Zastanawia mnie jednak, ile czasu pochłonęło zaprojektowanie i zrobienie takiego cuda, a ile trwało by wykopanie tego rowu szpadlem?😁
In most places around here we have about 1 foot (30cm) dirt then solid limestone. Looks like you have nice clean dirt!
What an absolute disappointment that you didnt make the engine too. Im kidding of course. That was an amazing build !
Absolutely wow... Work of art!
Thank you 😁
Excellent work and its heavy duty machine. Little bit of commentary are necessary to understand better. Its very good projects ❤
That works better than anything you can buy in the stores
Your work is top notch
Very impressive. Don't forget to call Miss Utility before digging....
I love your plasma cutter
Superb work! Your fabricating and welding skills are top notch. Did you track your time and bill of materials? Did you draw out plans or just wing it?
Wow! Fantastic machine, dude! 😯
Really amazing work!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you 😁
Super cool! A wonderful machine. What solder did you use? With or without gas? Grateful.
Grandiose ! Perfekt !
so much time invested only to film this work. wish I would be so patient
Top man, top build, much respect friend
Thank you 😁
I wonder if this man ever watched MacGyver or the A-Team when he was growing up
This works like crazy 😂. Well done guys. Again. I don’t know the reason but i need one like this machine in my life 😅
Thank you 😁
Amazing machine 👏

Thank you 😁
I’m looking at the hands and thinking “is this This Old Tony’s side hustle??” 😂
Super Arbeit
Super Maschine
Super Talent
Super Hobby 😮
Pure genius.
That is an awesome machine, dude!
Thank you 😁
How the devil can I rent it from you in the States? You're killing me. I have a 900' trench to dig and the ones you can rent around here aren't worth the powder it would take to blow them to hell. I sure can't build one like that. That is a work of mechanical art. Thanks for the videos.
