What printer or cura settings did you use to print the parts?

The added benefit of designing these compartments and 3D printing it is, that with a bit of paint and a few LED lights, you've now inadvertently got yourself a modular Sci-Fi wall panel etc...

0:05: Is a good thing you're in to Star Trek, because you may know that in the Star Wars Universe, "There is no underwear in space" according to Carrie Fisher in an interview.

I agree. However, I was inspired by multiple examples from Google images & Pinterest when I typed '3D printing desk organising' some are basic and others are like Scott are form fitting. As there's no clear indication who came up with the original idea it's not right for me to guess and give credit. For those reading this reply to @radiogoon, this is the gentlemen he is referring to...

"I've only used 4 to 5 pounds worth"... and I'm here, in Canada, thinking, "WTF?!" I Had to play the statement back a couple times before finally deducing the accent and its association with the word "pound" Literally thought you were talking about weight. I like the modular concept - I'd consider creating a universal interlocking system so that they actually fasten to each other and become a unit.

:D Now you say that I cam imagine how that translates. I must remember to emphasis when I'm talking about currency or weight next time.
I think you're right. In my next version I'll lock them together. Although so far the grey felt I lined the draw with seems to stop everything from slipping about.

I use that rubbery mesh stuff in my cutlery drawers and under carpets on harwood floors - works great. For the interlocks, I was thinking of hooks and slots, as though you took a piano hinge apart and then used pieces of it on either side of each unit, so that when you drop it in, the pattern fits into the one beside it. Basically, you'd make hooks on one side, then slots on the other and repeat that pattern for each unit.

Title should read “Drawer organizing,” not “Draw organizing.” Great ideas, however.

Thank you so much for the correction :) I've now amended the title. Cheers.

Pro tip, print all your bins in one height and without the stupid stacking lip. This way the whole drawer looks way more uniform
