Great video, thanks! I bought my Pico back in October 2022 and so much has changed since! Pico is really working hard to make our experience as perfect as possible and I think they will soon outperform Meta in terms of software AND hardware.
Hi there! Glad you liked the video! So personally I think the quality of the Pico 4 is far superior than what Meta has produced. It just needs a couple of exclusive games to help push it over the edge. (And maybe a release in the US!) But totally agree that they are working hard to make our experiences even more immersive! Love the Pico 4! 💪

Just bought a Pico 4, and videos like these are gold! A question, if you turn on 90hz refresh mode, does it impair the graphics in any way? Like choosing between performance and resolution mode on the PS5.
Not as far as I’m aware! It basically makes gameplay smoother and can help keep motion sickness at bay.
If any games don’t support it then you can always switch it back off but I’ve never had that problem so far. 👌
(I even do it on the Quest 2!)
Hey, I got a question for you. Do you know how i can change my profile pic on my Pico 4? Is it possible to change it to one of the avatars i created on the home screen? When i bought it, the pic was set to a default yellow dog. TIA. Great vid btw, these tips were definitely useful.
Hey there! So to change the profile pic, this is done on the Pico app.
If you open the mobile app and select “Me” in the bottom right hand corner, then tap your profile at the top of the page, select the little pencil in the top right corner, then tap profile picture.
This will allow you to upload a picture of your choice! 💪
As for changing it to your avatar. You could load up your Pico 4, go to the customise avatar page and take a snapshot of the screen by hitting the camera button on your controller.
Now go into your Pico 4 app, go to devices at the bottom, then tap media at the top and save the snapshot to your phone/device.
Finally go to the “change your profile pic” as mentioned earlier and you should be able to choose the snapshot and then crop it.
I haven’t tried this myself yet but technically it should work! Let me know how you get on!

@@mcphoney The only Pico apps I see in the Google Play Store are two "Pico vr headset guide" apps and "Cast for Pico". Which app do I download/look for?
