Thank you so much for your videos!! I have searched high and low for these recipes. The ones I found, none came close to the real thing. Yours are!!! My picky family loves it and now we can enjoy real restaurant style Chinese food. Your so awesome! Thank you!!😘🤩
I just made this and I can say that this is the BEST stir fry recipe I have tried! The chicken is so tender, and the brown sauce just made it so perfect. Thank YOU
I made this dish tonight and I kid you not, it came out a lot better than I planned because it was my first time cooking Chinese food. Great instructions on the How-to-do meal, my family loved it!!! 😀

You have made me so happy. I made the Brown sauce from your other video then followed this and made the chicken Brocoli and it tastes just like the one from my favorite restaurant. I have not been able to go to that restaurant due to the pandemic so I missed this dish a lot. I literally cried a little when I tasted it. THANK YOU!
I made this dish for my son and husband. They loved it and they are very picky eaters. Thank you so much for your videos. I will try more of your recipes soon.
I'm eating this as I type, and I have to say this is pretty amazing. The techniques you use are almost never conveyed in English-language recipes for stir-fry dishes. The brown sauce was amazing, as was the rest. Many thanks for sharing......this was excellent!!!
This might be the authentic cantonese version!!! ive been SEARCHING FOR. My family ran a Cantonese restaurant and it finally retired. I cant remember what kinda style chinese alao the wontons were a thicker wrapper in a mi lol d chicken soup with slivers of bbq pork in it. Looking back we had the BEST CANTONESE RESTAURANT In upstate newyorn but couldn't survive the buffet era. I found the brwn oyster sauce that Bruce Lee would approve of to go on top his beef with oyster sauce!
Not gonna lie, no ads, best video out there, actual quality and true skill, I’ve never seen so much purity and trueness again, you’ve restored my faith in humanity.
Thanks for the recipe. Made it for the first time today, and while I'll need to adjust the amount of salt/soy sauce to reduce the overall saltiness, it came out pretty incredible for my first try at a homemade brown sauce. Your instructions were very easy to follow!
I have made this before and it was Perfect !!! I also must thank you for teaching me how to Cut the Chicken Correctly, I was doing it Wrong my Whole life. And thanks to your direction, it came out Perfect. Cooking it Again tonight, thanks 😁♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍👍👍
I just made this for the first time.....holy cow it's good! It tastes just like the restaurant....I can eat chicken and brocolli every day for a year and still not feel tired of it. In fact I think ...as part of my health kick I just may make it my lunch and dinner staple! And way cheap. I bought a tray of chicken breasts (4) and sliced up only one. Tray costs 7 bucks. The brocolli I had frozen ...carrots I had in the fridge. Only had to step out to the whole food store to get the sesame oil and the oyster sauce which are essential to the flavor profile. Had the ginger and garlic and salt and sugar.....used flour instead of corn starch for thickening the sauce worked great. Also....I marinated the chicken in a Ayisien spice called Epise to give it a Caribbean taste profile, then I pre boiled the chicken in the same water I boiled the brocolli ...that same water was then removed and then I stir fried the chicken with a little veg. oil and a dot more sesame oil. The brown sauce was mixed up in a separate bowl...I basically eye balled the ingredients (the sauce has a distinct texture to the eye) and then thrown into the browning chicken chunks...simmered thick and then I added in the brocolli and carrots that had been lightly steamed. Mixed until coated perfect....amazing. I joined it with some parboiled rice and vegetables I cooked up while preparing the main dish. I'll probably be feasting on left overs until Wednesday or so...it turned out to be a greater portion than I expected but I love this! Thanks for the recipe!
Healthy version: Leave out the corn starch, potato starch , use olive oil, no sesame oil/brown sauce. Great keto low carb meal which will barely spike insulin
Just made this and it taste just like the restaurant! I can't believe I cooked this lol Helpful tip: Don't skip the Mushroom flavored dark soy sauce for the brown sauce. It really helps!!! Thanks A Million
Today I took this challenge. Boy did this come out better than my Chinese restaurant. Thank you so much. I like how you show the way we are use to eating and the healthy way. Do you have a receipt for Port Ribs Chinese style? Thank you.
I broke down the recipe for you all. Chinese Chicken and Broccoli Chicken Chicken Breast: 9.5 oz (cut vertically very thin) Broccoli: 8.8 oz (cut into florets) Carrot: 1 oz (sliced very thin) Brown Sauce: 3/4 cup Sesame Oil: 1/2 tsp Prep the Chicken Salt: 1/4 tsp White Pepper: 1/10 tsp Garlic Powder: 2 pinch or 1/8 tsp 2 tablespoons of water 1 tbsp corn starch ½ tbsp. oil Slurry Water: 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp Corn Starch Prepare chicken by placing sliced chicken in bowl and adding salt, garlic powder, pepper and 2 tablespoons of water. Mix with your hands and let sit for 15 minutes. After letting it marinate add 1 tbsp corn starch and one tbsp of oil and mix until all the oil is blended in with corn starch. Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 30-45 seconds, then remove and set aside. Cook the chicken: To a heated pan add 2.5 tbsp oil to cook the chicken. Turn heat to medium high and cook the chicken in the oil for 30 seconds on one side. Then turn the chicken over and cook for 30-40 seconds. Then stir-fry for 30 to 45 minutes. Add in the sliced carrots and cook for 30 seconds. Add in the partially cooked broccoli and stir fry for 20-30 seconds. Add in the brown sauce and the slurry. Broccoli: 8.8 oz (cut into florets)
Carrot: 1 oz (sliced very thin)
Brown Sauce: 3/4 cup
Sesame Oil: 1/2 tsp
Prep the Chicken
Salt: 1/4 tsp
White Pepper: 1/10 tsp
Garlic Powder: 2 pinch or 1/8 tsp
2 tablespoons of water
1 tbsp corn starch
½ tbsp. oil
