- The birth home of Martin Luther King, Jr. was doused in gasoline in an arson attempt. Atlanta police say a woman is in custody after trying to burn the house to the ground. A good Samaritan stopped the woman just before disaster struck.

It's even more appalling and disgusting that despite Dr. King advocating for non-violence, those men laid hands on that woman and knocked her to the ground, similar to what the REAL police did to George Floyd. They should have kept their hands to themselves, especially since citizen's arrest isn't even a thing in Georgia anymore thanks to the Ahmaud Arbery incident.

The arrestee has been identified as Laneisha Shantrice Henderson (DOB 9/97/). She was charged with Arson (2nd Degree) And Interfering with Government Property. She was transported to Grady Detention for evaluation and will be transferred to Fulton County Jail once discharged from Grady Detention according to a press release from the ATL Police
Anyone with a brain knows a hate crime needs to be added to her charges.

ABC7NY did a better job reporting this than Fox 5. I would encourage everyone to watch their report. We are so thankful that Zach Kemp, Kenny Dotson, and Axel Dotson were there at the right time to twart this horrific act. All three deserve recognition from the National Parks Service and the President of the United States for their role in saving this historic building. Matin Luther King would be proud to know that men of different races sprung into action to do what was right.

How are they "Good Samaritans" when they laid hands on and tackle that woman? Whatever happened to keeping one's hands to themselves like you guys expected Ahmaud Arbery's subduers to do? If I was the police officer, I wouldn't side with the person attacked and on the ground, I'd side with the person on the ground. I don't get this idea where police side with the person making the "citizen's arrest."

Martin Luther king Jr. is a hero and his childhood home shouldn’t be disturbed or disrespected.

Martin Luther King Jr. could see the block community today. I think he'd be ashamed of them. Him and countless generations fault for over a hundred years after the civil war ended to create equal opportunity and respect for african americans in this country. Martin dedicated his life to this goal in the end it caused him his life. But because of his sacrifice, so many things have changed for the better. And how does this woman show her respect by ready to burn his birthplace to the crown.
