I can say that 40 damage feels good. But my problem is the overheating is still the problem it's to fast and the cool down takes a long time but hopefully they can find a way to fix it. overall 40 damage feels good I love it
Heavyarms is basically a mobile turret that works great when placed at a convenient spot to deal damage. In other words, it needs a good distraction to use its strongest attack before someone disables it.
Yeah, he’s basically heavy weapons guy. I think that heavy arms would be in a better spot if he has a small, 150hp shield when he was fully revved to save him from an instagib
all about good positioning. generally you right click then dash into your angles to start shooting and by the time you need to get out, you'll either have jump or dash again to get out.
The big issue with heavyarms is the overheating. You are almost dead with overheat, at least Guntank can run fast away or use cannon or dash hit. even if they reduce the overheat by .5 seconds that may help a big bit.
gg, I can't speak to how OP Heavy may or may not be, all I'll say is that if I turn a corner and see a Heavy looking at me with both barrels out, I am IMMEDIATELY ducking behind the corner. Heavy SHREDS with both barrels.
Just picked up this suit with my cp hoard and from the ten or so matches I have played, he feels pretty good. I like that even though heavy arms is essentially a walking turret he has high mobility but can still be countered easily if out of position. I am definitely satisfied with this suits current state.
If I could change something, it might be to give HA two stocks of the missile ability. Even without changing the cooldown, it would give HA higher burst and long range damage while not actually letting it use the missiles more often in sustained fights
I think they should do the same thing with Heavy in TF2 and let him rev up his barrels midair. I think it takes long enough for it to not be an issue. Otherwise, the damage is good and the napalm missiles aren't so bad, since they build ult charge and most of the time even if the damage itself isn't spectacular most suits either can't afford or aren't willing to push further with the DoT ticking on them.
As a heavyarms main, I really can’t feel much of a change. The damage output has always felt really strong for me, but hey I’ll welcome more of it. One thing I would like to see is a buff to the duration of the Gatling like you were saying. For the most part, you can’t continuously fire the dual wielding Gatling for more than about five seconds which can be your downfall sometimes.
Main weapon damage is very nice I think if the overheat takes like 1~2 seconds longer that would be a great imporvement to its uptime... or like takes 1 second longer to overheat and 1 second less to cool down. IMO his G-Man feels very weak though.
I'll admit I farm heavyarms with Sniper a lot. Free kills if they don't notice you. On another note I have been having fun with zaku melee even though he might be the worst unit right now. It is nice to stand in front of someone and tank their G-maneuver while filling rage.
oh boy it's time for math class so heavyarms dealing 4 more damage is 4 more damage per shot multiplied by his rate of fire which is measured as damage per second or dps so in one patch, heavyarms went from a dps total of 360 to 400. that's an 11% increase to all of his main weapon damage which increases exponentially when it has all guns firing with all guns firing, heavyarms' dps jumps to around 800 and this suit does not suffer from damage fall off at all i think heavyarms is undeniably good now but the lack of staying power and mobility will make it difficult to fit it into a high level team outside of niche situations or maps that play to its strengths i think it needs fine tuning personally but it definitely doesn't need more damage. things like adjusting the deploy speed of it's full gun stance, adjusting the full deploy movement speed, improving the momentum conservation of the flip and adjusting the flip cooldown are the ways to go
Agreed that the damage doesn't need any more buffs. Shortening the deploy time could be pretty scary though. If they did do that I think it'd have to be a pretty small change or else his damage becomes too consistent.
Definitely one of the strongest suits in the game right now. Didn't really need the shortened cooldown on the smoke they gave him a couple patches ago.

Really wish you shouldn't be punished by dual wielding. Not being able to attack while setting it up was a dumb decision made by the devs. This unit has a lot of flaws and it sucks since I love HA's design and weaponry in the series.
oh god, I'm just missing 170 capitol to buy a new suit... I'll only get this on the next season in the battle pass... this sucks so much, can't even grind it. This way I can see the new suit if it's cool I'll buy it if not I'll buy unicorn

Heavyarms is strange. The jump is strong, but his best damage slows him enough to make head-shots very easy.

i still enjoy winning my 1v1s as a unicorn main bc i’m always like “my minigun is better”

Can we all agree that Zaku 2 R is a little too strong atm? Pretty much unkillable in the right hands with the extra dash on smoke.

I don't think they mentioned anything about a second suit so it might just be Dynames this season.
As a Dynames main who doesn't have good aim, seeing a Heavyarms at medium range is one of the scariest things possible.
Yeah that 300 HP shield doesn't last too long against him when he's close.

Same here. It may not be the best suit out there but it does seem to do high enough damage to pretty consistently get that MVP.

I think the biggest issues is the long windup for Heavyarms' rmb attack, makes it too vulnerable during that period.
