- Exploring and fishing in some of the busiest parts of Austin, Texas! I was surprised to find Big Bass living in these waters! The fish were biting and the views were incredible! I hope you enjoy the video!
Next time your In Austin tx check out bushy creek lake north by cedar Park. There are some big big boys, they look like little grayish white bull dogs.
anytime you get a turtle, treat it the same way you'd handle a fish that swallowed the hook, only get your forceps and carefully remove the hook.... its gonna happen, eventually you'll have to help the turtle and unhook the guy... awesome vid though!!
awesome video i’ve always wanted to fish in austin!
Thank you! Austin definitely has some good spots
@@thesouthwes i fish a lot of urban areas in dallas/fort worth area, i was down in austin a couple months back but didn’t have any time to fish.
Great video 🎣
Thank you!
cool video keep it up 👍
Thanks! I appreciate it!
barton creek?
Good video, fun catches :) I'll have to try these spots sometime, haha i just hate how crowded it gets.
Congrats on 6 hundo!
Thank you!🙌🏼
Great video my friend i had to smack that sub button keep up the amazing content! I’m actually heading over to Austin this weekend i was wondering where that last spot is it looks amazing!!!
Thanks man! I think it’s called mueller lake. I’m not sure though
I fished that pond and there is no duckweed anymore. There is still that green grassy muck on the bottom though. The water is fairly clear. Do you know what baits and rigs and colors I could use.
I’d use a wacky rig or a drop shot. Watermelon, green pumpkin, and other natural colors will work the best in the clear water
@@thesouthwes thanks! I’ll try that out today!
What part austin I be out that way tomorrow
A addrsss
I liked that intro bud. Looked like a decent day of fishing. Are all lakes in Texas clear? I don't know if it's just the video but they all look clear to me.
So in the Austin area they are clear because there’s a ton of limestone instead of clay in the earth
the further you go north it seems the dirtier the lakes. north texas has some real muddy lakes
