Yandy is a good one. She had to overcome Mendecee's jail time, his baby mommas, his mother, being the sole provider to their family while also maintaining some form of sanity for the kids. That's a lot for one person regardless of how strong you are.
It's a lot, but it happens daily. The problem is not Mendeece, it's Yandy. During the entire series since day one, Yandy has been controlling, dismissive, forceful, and selfish. She has torn apart many relationships, including close friends and family.
She knew who her husband was when she met him, all of him comes with it. Now that he is out of jail, she has to back off and give the house room to breathe, but she won't, nothing in the history of the show say she will.

If Yandy can’t get over what she has had to do in and for the relationship, then she should leave. As long as Mendeeces is in the marriage he should be allowed to express his emotions and feelings, and his wife should listen or it will be over.

@@ebonyeverything2751 it’s not about not giving her credit for what she has done because she has done a lot for him and their relationship from what we have been shown. However if she has chosen to stay in this relationship despite all of what has transpired then she has to take him into consideration in terms of his feelings. If she holds resentment for what has happened and what she has had to put up with then she should leave because that will always be a barrier. For example if you choose to forgive a partner that cheats on you cannot then keep bringing up the fact that they have cheated if you decide to stay. Understanding has to come from both sides and both of them have to share how they truly feel about their relationship and be realistic if this is something that they want to stay in but that’s their business to sort off camera because for all we know this could just be a story line.

He also later said that he had never heard of Simone. I think he lied about that. He couldn't stand the fact that Simone is really a big deal. This shows an insecurity on his part.
He did lie about not know who she is or what she does. He publicly admired and followed Gabby Douglas when she was in her era. He knows women's gymnastics.
Simone Biles will remain a big deal as Jonathan starts to build a name for himself, works his career, and retires. She is a historic Olympic athlete, who has multiple gymnastics moves named after her, the Biles.

For example, it sounded a bit defensive to me when she said "I don't know how it is from the gay community" etc. It seemed that he took Claudia's view as against Simone Biles husband's while she was giving a thought as to why it triggered women initially. There's also a difference between an egg and embryo. The eggs belongs to Yandy just like a kidney. An embryo is the egg and sperm fertilized so I'm not sure I agree that Yandy's husband should have the same say-so with an egg and he does an embryo. Would he prefer that Yandy's sister get the egg from a stranger?

Discipline of step children needs to be a conversation of understanding beforehand. Also the mother said she is a girlfriend, not a step mother as in wife. No permission to those with informal roles.

Discipline of children period need to be a discussion, even with two biological parents. There should two people on the same page and checks and balances to ensure methods are effective and don’t get out of hand.

Here we go again. Al is in his victim complex. He knew exactly what Claudia said. She clearly said it was wack for anyone to say they were the catch because it was inferring that their partner is not but he wanted to act as if she was speaking down on men. He irritates me so much. It’s like he doesn’t have a balance. He doesn’t really know where to fit in between her and Armon. First he wanted to talk to Armon like he was beneath him. Now he wants to agree with just about everything he says and is so pretentious.
*The biggest issue is **_"THE"_** catch.* He's neither an articulate nor wise man.
Had he responded to the posed question(s) with "I feel like _I'm _*_a_*_ catch", so it made perfect_ sense to me that we would meet and match" (or align/be perfectly fit, etc.), it would have been fully understood and embraced by all.
*It's important in a relationship to uplift each individual (including Self), **_and_** uplift the union.*
*But **_yes, it is 100% feminine_** to expect chivalry toward you, which is especially ass-backward if it's a hetero man. It's **_legitimately in the definition._*

Sometimes when Armon talks it sounds like it comes from a place of hurt and hate. Not a fan of him at times. I love honesty but not at the expense of others. It just rubs me the wrong way sometimes. I wonder if Claudia felt some way when he said half breed. Hmm

Not being funny, but everything happens for a reason. As much as Funky was missed. Armon is a much better fit! He is the classy touch that we didn’t know we needed. When this show takes off to the next level I think he has a higher potential to grow based on his overall professionalism even with his controversial approach.
