Best performance of the night, no contest. Josh Kaufman's been my favorite of the season, now he's one of my all-time faves and I think he has a genuine shot at winning the whole damned thing. Outstanding performance, terrific young man. I hope he pulls it off.

This is a difficult song. He got me at the first three notes. Didn't know he was on the Voice. Come to the cookout...bring some Tupperware cuz you gettin' a to go plate too.

To answer your question, he was on a racist talk show that trashed Usher. It wasn’t his fault per say but that tarnished his opportunity. The saying “you are the company you keep” unfortunately.
I just watched his full blind audition and he actually picked Adam as his coach. Maybe Usher picked him up later on after Adam let him go. Smh such an amazing singer and I felt every word he singed. God bless Josh. See you in Heaven. (Will be even better).
I still can't believe he didn't play guitar once, or sing any of his original songs! His album Forgetting... to Rembember... to Forget is the only album I've ever heard where I love every single song, instead of just one or two standouts.

If we’re talking about technique, Jordan is definitely the best singer ever on The Voice. But singing isn’t only range, pitch and control. Josh has one of the warmest and most beatiful tones i’ve ever heard in all the 18 seasons of this show. And his voice is way more emotional than Jordan’s.
