@Ganjang gongjangjang what's this genre called? It's something totally new, and I love it. Got some Math Rock, some Soul, Blues, Prog all mixed in a perfect blend.
I'm having a lot of trouble understanding the rhythm part right after the first riff. Is there any chance someone could explain which fingers go on what frets for the 4 positions and which ones are supposed to be harmonics or if they all are? It just doesn't sound right when I fret on the spots I think he is.
It goes 12 harmonic on E, G, B, e Then 15 fret E, 16 fret G (III in E minor) Then 10 fret E, 11 fret G (bVII), and ending on the VI (8 E, 12 harmonics higher strings), you will get a bigger sound adding open strings
Ok ok, so in short the B and e string are going to be open when u pluck, but that G string is on the 12th fret with ur middle finger and pointer on the E string. Then slide down to the 13th fret with ur pointer, and ur middle finger is on the 14th fret G string. And lastly silde ur pointer up to the 6th fret with pointer, and use ur pinky on the 9th fret of the G string. It took me a minute to get it, really hope it helps😅
my harmonic on the e string when playing the 7th fret doesn't sound like your note, your note sounds higher than when I play it I don't get what's different? HALP please
Don’t completely press the strings just touch them when picking and quickly release . Like the harmony you would do in nothing else matters intro by metallica . I hope this helps
Hes talking out about intervals in the key the c is the major 6th and d is the major seventh before the 8th note in the scale which is the octave of the root!
4:00 first plays lick consisting of 12 notes, then plays it 'slowly' and suddenly it has 2 or 3 extra notes? Even slowed it down but it doesnt make sense.
Can you also play it with the index, middle and ring finger on the right hand? I'm a beginner and would like to know if thats also possible becuase it feels more comfortable
for amp modelers many ppl use a clean amp with the cab sim off + heavy compression and some reverb, but really the key part is using a guitar with single coils / coil split humbuckers on middle position
@@Pablo-zv6jd It isnt the middle position. He is using the neck pickup right now, but in other songs and other people like Tim Henson or Mateus Asalto normally uses the 4th position.

This is not funny and this isn't a different version he just played slower for instructional purposes. He played it real time speed for pick up jazz, you can check on their Instagram
People really expected a full long lesson about this song? I mean, it’s particularly advanced fingerstyle considering that there are also sweeps and tapping parts… just watch what he plays… if you just bought a guitar don’t start with this song.
Its called a natural harmonic, you lightly hold on the spot right between the 7th and 8th fret and play it like you normally would. You can do them on the 5th, 7th, 12th ect..
Grapefruit Simmons Jesus christ how dense are you lmao, those videos were never supposed to be live playthroughs. You will be surprised to find out that your favourite band doesn’t play live in their music videos
@@grapefruitsimmons because he problably pre-records it so it sounds cleaner so all he has to do is just play along it. doesnt matter if its plugged in or not
It's a shame about the sped up stuff he did, because this actually sounds better at this slower speed, and looks and sounds natural. While he is full of shit, he's the shit, at the same time.
If I remember it correctly he mentioned that he did sped up some of his playthrough like 10-20%.. The issue with his playing isn't that he can't really play his piece .. the problem lies with how people who watched his videos were mislead that you can sound so freaking 0 human-string-noise clean without heavy post processing.. if you compare his live music over his playthrough posts.. you would notice how human his playing really is..
hmmm quite a lot bpm lower than the original version, it was obvious that you couldn't play it live as fast as your videos were, it's really disappointing as you excused yourself on the subject
