Where do I start? The first time I went to college out of HS was a bust - I always wanted to be a Veterinarian, but my grades, especially in the sciences, were horrible, and my parents said no - that's a man's profession (they said I should go to secretarial school like my sister). Even though I went to a Community College, there were many courses that were interesting to me, and created many possibilities - explore what interests you... that's where I discovered Architecture and Art. Skip ahead 8 years, I enrolled in Architecture, got my degree, but even before that I knew it wasnt for me. I got a job as a Space Planner/Interior designer at a hospital system (14 years), then an Interior Designer for Commercial furniture since 2005, which is creative and I love. So just because you enroll in a course path, doesn't mean you have to stick to that path if it doesn't make you happy and fullfilled - explore those other paths! Enroll in college - it opens possibilities!👍🌟

You’re a curious sort - the precise type of person college is designed for! Thank you for sharing a bit of your story! 🙏🏽

@@DrMudgil Thanks Doc😊 I really didn't do all that well in HS since it was a small school with limited courses, just the basics, but college offered SO much more - I was like the proverbial kid in a candy shop!😋💚

The good thing about college is that you still have time to figure out what you want to pursue while you take all the prerequisites.
There are also tons of jobs that don’t require a college degree but are lucrative. It’s mainly about networking.
