Glad to see you stopped here in Myrtle Beach. We Love it here, been living here and Family Kingdom is one of our memory makers from years we came before moving here and after moving here. Great place we took our grandkids … love going at times and just walking through and watching people enjoy theirselves.
One of my favorite vlog series that you have done. Thank you!
The park has new owners. They've added new rides and retracked the Swamp Fox. I hope they continue to improve this park. It's a great start!
Another great video, brings back many memories of my family vacations. I can't believe that big white roller coaster is still there.
I love Myrtle Beach. We stayed at the ocean reef when I was there was awesome.
My husband and I just watched this video and thoroughly enjoyed it. I especially liked when you screamed on the Swamp Fox.
The placement of the microphone while you were on the beach was great. Your voice was clear, could still hear the waves, but mainly your voice
Last seat on a coaster is the best seat.
That view from the top of the coaster 😍😍👍🎢
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the ocean ending. There is truly nothing better than a day of fun followed by the relaxation of the ocean waves.
Thanks for the front seat pov on the swamp fox. It was cool.
Always fun to watch you go through the five stages of grief on a ride lol
I love yheme parks thanks for letting us tag along your the best be szge
Classic is always the best
Be sure to check out the Myrtle Beach Pinball Museum while you're in town. I'm a local and would love to meet up somewhere in town and show you some of the hidden gems.
Jacob, I cried of laughing when I saw your reaction on the swamp fox 😂😂😂❤
Truly the face of terror on the swamp box.
The dry plunge got you wetter! That made me laugh! I love your videos, thank you for all the smiles!
You make the best facial expressions on rides. 😆
This is why I love watching you Jacob you do things I would never do 😆
Love your work. Watching back episodes. Often you overextend yourself trying to do an episode every day. Vacations can be overworking also. Don't forget mental health days. Do ferris wheel when Jen joins you.
Thanks for filming the rides! And, I haven't seen a "Friendly's" in decades. I didn't even know they were still a thing.
Good Morning " YA ALL " Jacob the Carpetbagger ..!!
My favorite carpet bagger videos are the ones where you're screaming terrified on roller coaster. 😂
Thanks for featuring this place! So glad to discover new attractionss through your channel. I'll be heading there to enjoy the wimpy kiddie rides!!
Swamp fox. You are so brave Jacob. Thank you. Ps thank you I giggled as you rode the twist and shout. Lol
Heeyy! Jacob! I hope you and your family is doing well. You're so cool, man! Keep up the great work! Awesome video!!
Brings me back to memories of the old Lesordsville lake in middletown ohio ..loved by many, sadly torn down.Their roller-coaster as screeching eagle.😢
Haven't seen u that terrified in quite awhile. 😁😁😊😊
Got my birthday video today! Thank you!! And no, I'm not a good swimmer; even with webbed toes 🤷 44 years old today.
Happy Birthday!!!!
Thank you Jacob. I was so impressed when you went on the swings I hate them. Always feels like the chains might break lol. ❤️
I hope in the next few years or so South Carolina gets a big park like the old Pavilion or Hard Rock Park
Simpom’s ride and store , all of the other Myrtle beach amusement parks, wonderworks , all ripley’s stuff , and other unique stores , hotels , and restaurants including the gay dolphin store and mrtyle beach sky wheel
Jacob, if we get your channel to 500,000 viewers half a million, you and Adam need to do a mega slingshot ride!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉
Nice park
Going to MB in September would like you to go see dolphins on a cruise We watch you and Jen all the time and love all of the things you do. Been watching for about 3 years now. I love how you are just a big kid!! :) Wendy and Carl Shultz from Tn Oh by the way We really loved your adventure of the Mississippi River!!!!!! Keep up the videos and give Jenn a hug for us lol 🙂🙂🙂
Hey Jacob, you have your roller coasters confused. The Swamp Fox has always been named the Swamp Fox since it opened in 1966 when the park was originally named Grand Strand Amusement Park. The park became Family Kingdom in 1992. The "Red Devil" roller coaster, which was originally painted red, was the original name for the "Cliffhanger" roller coaster at Ghost Town in Maggie Valley, NC.
I got this information off Family kingdoms website so take it up with them
Keep up the good work! Long time fan from NC here. I believe there is a current lawsuit concerning The Swamp Fox due to complications an individual suffered from that coaster!
Those are the highest swings I've ever seen
I'm going to try and fit the phrase "the illusion of unsafeness" into my everyday conversations, if at all possible.
Love your videos carpet bagger new subscriber to your channel. I’m disabled retired garbageman living in Northern California. Love the videos, my friend. Thank you for taking me along with you on your adventures. Much appreciated. Peace and God bless.🙏💯🇺🇸
Helicopter ride😮
Fun fact, the hurricane was and family kingdom was used in Kenny Cheney music video “Anything but mine”
This place is a totally different atmosphere at night. Our kids loved it.
Those swings must be relatively new, i was there probably about 10 years ago and they have definitely fixed up the park a fair bit since then
Please check out Broadway at the Beach! That would be great!
I went to Myrtle Beach with my family for spring break a long time ago. One place that I checked out was the Hollywood Wax Museum, which I would recommend you go to next.
I would recommend putting your electronic devices and anything you don't want to get wet in gallon and/or quart size ziploc bags before you go on those wet rides.
We live here at Myrtle Beach!
My husband and I visited palmetto state armory and the wax museum last year. It was very hot in July, enjoyed our visit
Uh oh. That’s pretty close to the sheriff ha ha
Hi Jacob this Is a lovely place.!! Beautiful XXX
Love myrtle beach! Me and my husband were just there 2 weeks ago! You should go to the Huntington Beach state park and see all the alligators! Also would love to see Gator world since we were unable to make it there! Hope you have a blast!!
Would definitely like to see u go to Alligator Adventure in Myrtle & you should eat at the house of blues right by the Alligator place. House of Blues has a lot of cultural art on display that would probably make good content. Wouldn’t mind seeing how Ripley’s is doing as well
Hey Jacob 😎🤙🏻 maybe this will be fun the Myrtle Beach Dolphin Cruise & Dolphin Tours - Guaranteed to See Dolphins
Definitely Wana check out Broadway, the wax museum, Murrells inlet, crabby Mike's seafood buffet, alligator adventures, peaches corner.....
The wax museum was awesome
Love your videos
Hi Carpetbagger,
Excellent camera work (and vocals) on the Swamp Fox!!
🎢 Top Notch
I enjoy your videos so much the cost to go to the amusement parks is too high for many families to enjoy I wish the prices were not so high
the first time i ever had motion sickness was as an adult on the swings. forget those evil things!
Jacob how about visiting Mt. Atlanticus Miniataur Goff? I read about it online. It's a miniature golf course. Sounded kind of cool. 😊
I love the EV antique cars first one was made in 1888!!!! Go EV’s❤❤❤
You should use shorts to inform us of where your headed on day of departure just so there is the extra lead time for you. Its a win for all parties
You seem to be heading up the beaches. Hope you come up to OCMD which is our stomping ground. Also we live in Salisbury, MD which has an awesome free zoo only about 30 minutes outside of Ocean City.
Go to The Hangout at Broadway at the Beach off 21st Ave
Do barefoot landing and broadway at the beach love those places haven’t seen those in years
this is all fun but I MISS THE PAVILLON IN MYRTLE BEACH!! Comment below if you remember THE PAVILLON…
I see a Friendly's behind you on the log that place is a new england ice cream place
Check out the wax museum across the street from Broadway at the Beach. It's awesome! Do a video!
I like to ride on the front car on wood roller coasters.
Myrtle beach is great
Have you found that any of the theme parks are more accommodating to bigger people as far as ride vehicles?
That's called hang time my friend LO.L
do you think you could show the park while you ride the coaster or other rides
My kidneys hurt just from watching the Swamp Fox footage.
i went to south Carolina i went to family kingdom on Sunday
Check out Margaritaville
Seems expensive compared to other parks. I just paid $44 for Kings Island this week. Obviously, Kings Island is 10x the park that this is. Still a great video, just thought I'd point out the price difference.
Jacob Be brave please. you rode Top Thrill 2
oh fun i live in myrtle beach
17:13 never ride a jumper solo, its no fun
Jacob I thought I’d tell you there’s going to be a new fiberglass giant on Route 66 in Tulsa coming in July he’s a Lumberjack named Meadow Gold Mack near Buck Atom
I went there we almost feel off the ride I was so scared my cousin fell but she is ok
But the foood was goose before got on the rides we went sugar life in murtle beach
I got cottten candy ice cream and my cousin got cookie doe and I wasted it but it was fun
But I didn’t understand why it cost so much like 42 😢
22:07 didn’t his mustache used to move
You gotta go to the Gay Dolphin!
County how many times Jacob says “here” or “there”. It’s insane.
Go to Broadway on the Beach
riplys aquriam
That looked horrible! Torture rollercoaster! You looked and sounded terrified and yet you ride it again! You are a bit crazy😂You looked like you were coming out of the seat.I was scared you would die!
My husband and I can still go places, but we would rather watch your videos than watch a current movie or anything on television. Thank you for taking us to wonderful places we have never been. We have actually gone to some of the places you have been after seeing them on your channel. ❤
Myrtle Beach might be one of my top favorites! This was a treat. I miss living there, btw I made some of the paint for the roller coasters and bumper cars quite some years back when I was in the paint business
It just sucks with how dangerous it's gotten
crazy, you uploaded this right after i saw a news article on someone claiming the swamp fox coaster paralyzed them
I saw that same article!
I noticed your first ride on the Swamp Fox was in the rear. I have ridden many different wooden coasters and always avoid the rear. I always find that the rear cars usually give you the roughest ride and the front the smoothest. Most likely due to the rear cars being pulled the hardest from the energy of the forward cars. The full weight of the train is throwing you around. But is is good to ride in different cars if you ride several times as you can get a different ride experience depending on where you sit in the train.
@@johnchambers8528it’s actually because the back row is usually on a wheel, so that’s why it’s rougher
@@micoasters It's because the back of the train experiences increased acceleration over hills and around turns, stronger forces of inertia, but if the coaster is the kind where the rear car is on wheels then it's both. Not all coasters have the same track system, but you'll almost always feel like you're moving faster if you take the back car.
@@jeremysutherlin3803 Yep, that and wooden coasters will always be a bumpier ride than steel. Wood has imperfections, grain, it expands and contracts from temp and humidity, so you'll just get shaken around a little more than on a steel coaster. I hope we don't lose our old masterpiece wooden coasters. I'm a fan of wood coasters but they're getting more and more expensive to maintain.
You looked so scared on the swamp fox you are braver then me then you rode it again wow
Jacob,

@@ShelleeGraham Yes,each one is really cool!
Holy hell, i could *feel* every pothole on that coaster. That was hilarious, thank you for risking your camera and bones for that
😊Thanks You for Sharing your video today. 😊
Just watching you on those swings made me dizzy 🤢😂.
The room that looks like a dark ride entrance used to be an arcade! I never played anything in it because of how many arcades there are on the strip so I’m not surprised to see it’s gone haha.
I thought it use to be a arcade.
My grandma used to give me quarter after quarter in that place in the 80s !
Jacob looking like Sloth from The Goonies while on the roller coaster ...................🤪🤪
I was literally just there on Thursday!
Poor Carpetbagger. Riding a coaster for for the viewers pleasure 4:43
I never get tired of hearing Jacob's screams 😅 What a trooper
Never, never, never! It makes me crack up every single time! :)
