That was so wholesome, but what really got me is when the adults went on the track too. Adult life really sucks sometimes, it’s nice to go back to that child like mindset for fun things like this sometimes. 💜

Yeah there’s just certain things in life we have to take seriously but it should never be to the point we have a chip on our shoulders. Let’s live More for a better life everyone.
That's why it's good to be a kid at heart.
This video is pretty old but it makes me happy every time I watch it. 💜

Remembering where you come from applies to more than just wealth. It can help understand your child better as everyone was a kid before, but not everyone is a parent before.
You never lose it. You just forget who you are under the weight of the world.
Soooo...let me get this straight, little kid rides on this guy's driveway, he doesn't get upset or even annoyed, decides to have a little fun, kid AND his parents get a kick out of it, kid has fun, dude has fun...NO DRAMA...Geez, we need more people (and videos) like this...

Yeah. Can see them go from a kick bike to a pedal bike, which is a massive step forward.
I still remember the first time I rode without training wheels (never had a kick bike). Felt on top of the world.
The track would definitely motivate children to ride and improve (It actually surprises me how many people can't actually ride a bike).

Absolutely!
And one thing I've got to add here. I do not like US foreign policies (often), I do not like your ultraconservative views ... but your kindness and generosity is legend! Especially towards children. In Germany the owner may have just come out and yell at the kid: Go away!

@@anklebiter9116 I find it bizarre that everyone's so happy about this. Why isn't the Mother telling her kid to stay off other people's property? That's not being a party-pooper, that's stopping a child growing up to be a lawbreaker!
@@TonyEnglandUK Dude, he's 3, and just being a little kid. oh sure, you can make the argument that even 3-year-olds are destructive and don't listen or whatever, but the driveway's owner has watched the footage serval times and all the kid is doing is have one, count it ONE, pass on his flat driveway. He's not lingering. So his mother is doing *something* right even if the kid isn't completely staying off.
Now stop focusing on the bad things in life. There's plenty and they demand our attention like a parasite. People watching this don't want to think about the boy's mother's parenting, got it? My elderly neighbor let me help him plant his garden when I was probably 8-9 years old. Taught me all the odd ways he planted things and why. He’s long deceased, his garden is now grown over. But I plant a garden annually and think of him. Be kind to children. This is the world worth fighting for.
I like to think he’s smiling every year you plant your garden.
Hollywood stereotypes elders as pedophilic towards kids. When in reality, almost all of them are excellent human beings matured by experience
That’s cool, R.I.P.🙏❤️
When I was little the family next door moved and a grumpy single man moved in. He never spoke to anyone. Next thing there was all this digging in his garden and he had a pond put in. We used to see him standing out there with a torch watching his fish in the middle of the night. I wanted to see the fish so one day I saw him and asked if I could look at them. He lifted me over the fence (small fence) and showed me the fish, then let me feed them...from then on I was his little friend who came to feed the fish with him. He wasn't grumpy at all, he was just not very social. 40 years later and his kindness is making me smile all over again!
its one thing if the homeowner doesnt mind the unaborted fetus is on their property and visiting, but this thing is just riding its bike wherever it chooses and the sorry ass parents arent correcting it
you can see the kids improvement each time he comes back. what a guy and looks like a great neighborhood to be in.
I thought at first he was going to erect some type of barrier to keep the kid off his property. Honestly, I thought this because I forgot what it's like to be a kid. This homeowner is a much better person than I am.

Exactly. Share the love and good feelings in life. We all profit from it.
Cynic that I am, I was expecting the neighbour to put an alarm outside so that every time the young cyclist rode around on his drive, it would sound and scare him off. It's heart-warming to see that the neighbour actively encouraged the little boy by drawing the circuit, thus giving him a safe environment to practise his riding skills and have a bit of fun at the same time.

My exact initial thoughts but the music made me think something kind.
To be fair, the title kinda clickbaits you(and me) into thinking that.
And the kiddo got so much better at biking from beginning to the end. 🥰 Sometimes it really is the little things.
"Most people are good" is the titel of a book of Rutger Bregman, a Dutch historian. Dispite all bad things. This man is the perfect example of the goodness of mankind.

I thought it was gonna be like putting rocks or something all over the driveway, but this, this is just too wholesome. I thought he was annoyed but he just wanted the kid to have a racetrack on HIS driveway. Everyone needs people like this.
True, I also thought it's gonna be something petty, but I loved how it turned out.
I genuinely thought he was using the chalk to map out a path where he was gonna carve out the concrete and replace it with wet cement that the kid would fall into and possibly permanently destroy his bike.
_...I wonder if that says anything about me that I immediately jumped to a conclusion that transcends pettiness and into pure bitter spite._
This made me cry. It's good to see kids cherished and encouraged to be kids & having fun. It's good to see strangers caring for each other and take part in a kid's sense of play. It's cool adults on bike taking part in it too. Young at heart, and amusing themselves. Driveway owner, you know the value of things. Wish there are more ppl like u in the world.

Our then 5 year old granddaughter loves to draw and one summer used her chalk and drew out a large hopscotch on the sidewalk. Later on that evening, I noticed on our security cam, that both adults and kids alike couldn't resist a little hopscotching as they walked by. Made me smile, so cute!

I was expecting this to be more like the owner putting tacks down or a wire fence. How I smiled when he made the track. Human faith restored. Wish he was my neighbour. Peace. ✌️✌️
it is cool but the world is not hate filled only if you let the words and actions of a small group allow the hate, try seeing the positive
How brilliant is this! Just goes to show you, that all neighbors don't suck.
I think most neighbors understand how the law here works. If any of those people get hurt on that property, guess who’s to blame. Now even more so him as he’s literally inviting people onto his property. Does it suck yea but that’s the REALITY of it. It’s just for your own pocket books sake why take that risk. These days you need a waiver at the starting line saying if you wanna take the track sign away.
@@justanotherrandomdude8472 I thought the same thing. Next comes the injury lawsuit for not maintaining the track.
@@justanotherrandomdude8472 Doesn't work like that, first off lawyers are expensive so good luck in a middle class even getting one next the kid or adult is a witness all they have to do is say they fell and not the man's fault. Then again hopefully not many ppl in accidents are petty enough to sue someone for biking on their property to begin with.
Too bad that little kid lives with a DANGEROUS PIT BULL.
Gotta argue with that one. My neighbors here keep me awake 24/7, I've been having murder fantasies quite lately, wish me luck
Do you notice how he’s not getting vandalized and he’s bringing even adults to participate in some light hearted childish fun? THIS IS WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS!
Well at that point anyone that would decide to be a d1ck about it and ruin it would then face the WRATH of the neighborhood, plus he has a camera right on side...most vandals are not stupid thankfully and know when not to stick a fork a pot instead of a spoon.

@@Alibadbad, think you need to unburden yourself to someone. Sounds like you have issues, mate. Seriously, talk to someone. Updated video to follow. "Parents sue man who made a "bicycle path" on his driveway after their child fell on the path and was hurt". Don't think it can't happen. Some LIBERAL Judge would agree with the lawsuit saying, "If the path was not there, the child would not have ridden on it and got hurt". You are responsible for the injuries. Forget about the trespassing defense, it would not work.
I wept from the joy of seeing a man do something special for someone's kid. so cool and I'm grateful to see there are still people in the world with a heart which is rare these days.
The little boy will always remember this. As he gets older he will realize what a kind gesture he got every day from a neighbor
Yeah and remember that trespassing is okay. Why is it okay for a kid to do this but an adult gets the cops called?
The world sure could use a lot more people like this in it.
This little wakes up every day thinking about the next course will look like to ride on!! Memory will last forever!!
Beautiful little detail some might miss… the homeowner initially laid out the track in the same pattern as the route the little boy was already taking. There’s a lot of reasons he may have done this but my guess is to make it easier for him the first time around and start him off in his comfort zone. This is how all of us should treat each other. This simple act is a great lesson for all humankind.
I disagree. For growth they must be forced out of their comfort zone.
Take off your kid gloves.
The boy will thank you for it when he's older.
@@seeharvester It’s clear from the video the homeowner made the “track” more complex later. But I did say “to make it easier for him the first time”. Literally no human can suppress emotions to such an extent and still be mentally fine, doesn't matter if you're a man or woman. A sign of strength is how you deal with situations, not how much you can suppress your emotions to show how "fine" you are. It's such an extremely toxic ideology that I'm surprised it's even a thing in the first place. Like, are men not human? Do they not have human emotions? It's like telling me that war veterans are weak because they not only became traumatised due to their extreme circumstances but also because they showed signs of weakness such as crying, ofc this does not happen to your every day average man but there are other factors which can affect one's mentality deeply (Mind blowing fact: You don't need to be a war veteran to be severely messed up in the head but I'm not sure if I can get my point across to someone like you) but then again, you're probably a bit too busy trying to act like someone who's dominant so you're probably going to not give a single dime about what I just said.
This homeowner is truly thoughtful and full of joy. He warmed my heart, too.
So heart warming. Letting a kid be a kid having fun. It's the small things in life that mean the most. Brought happy tears to my eyes.
That was super sweet
He could have gotten upset. But he chose to share his drive way and impact the lives of others positively
I'm touched ❤️
I was afraid this was going to be a "get off my lawn" story, but this is such a cool gesture on the part of the homeowner. Kudos to him.
Me too! I was like what's wrong with him being on the driveway for a second? This was very sweet
Oh look, someone making the world a slightly happier place. I wish there were more people like him.
That's just a beautiful story! Even the smallest gestures of kindness makes the world a better place. You made joyful memories that this little boy will have for a life time! Bravo!!!!
Every community needs a chap like this, kindness is utterly underrated.
This is the most SELF-LESS act I've ever seen by any human being on this planet. Awesome response, because our kids need positive examples of kindness like you've shown....
Not taking anything away from this guy but you have lived a very sheltered life if this is the most selfless act youve seen
@@Flakz911 Not sheltered...It's just more assholes in the world than kind hearted people. How many acts of kindness has you seen in the past year of your life???
@@mochajones people who volunteer to help the people in need with no gain except maybe feeling good about it..?
@@robotic_chazzie that’s true but anyone can volunteer if they want to, volunteering is a choice just like how this guys that own a driveway he chose to draw a track for the kid to ride on, instead he could be an asshole too and tell the kid to go away, but he didn’t so that’s nice. Any idiot can volunteer it isn’t that difficult.
Great demonstration of what is means to love one's neighbor. Thanks for bringing joy to a lot of people.
Man, we need more shit like this in general. It's sucks how frequently we forget that every single other person on this planet is, in fact, another human being. A little empathy would go a long way these days.
love your content
Unfortunately if more people did this then one of them would eventually get sued. There are so many scumbags out there. If a kid fell off his bike on a sharp turn and got hurt, some parents would fault the guy who made the course. I don’t agree with that, but it’s the reality…
It’s not that we forget really, I know for example when I live with my father we have a hill on the side of the house kids would sled down, and my dad would always scream at the kids to leave it alone. He was always worried and telling me one of these days someone’s gonna get hurt and the sue us, and it always scared him. I thought it was ridiculous but there are people out there like that.
@@soonerborn7603 I'm really looking forward that it won't go that way.

If EVERYONE was as kind…………imagine what the world would be like!!
Nothing would be accomplished cause everyone would be a pushover.. the word needs assholes
It used to be like that while I was young . We had really nice neighbors and we all knew each other. We also would help someone else's mother with groceries or to bring trash to curb.
Being kind is overrated.

If he did that for a neighbor imagine what he have done for his own kids if he has children. He might be a good parent and a good human being. Happy father's day of course if you have kid! 💙
Yea the main reason people dont like it is cause depending on the state a trespasser can still sue if they get hurt. I seen people cut through a yard fall and break their leg drunk. This way years ago. I didnt actually see it but that's what happened and then they sued my neighbors which is the yard they cut through. I have also seen on the news burglars get hurt going in someones house and sue and win. Do you now understand why people are rude about people being on their property. The laws need to stop favoring these people.
@@germ4613 Yeah, I completely understand your point. However, I'm not talking about the law. Im talking about the kindness of that person. Of course, he could talk to the child's parents to stop the kid getting in his drive way but he did not. So, I suppose the man knows the laws as well as you and what he is doing. 🤷♀️
@@germ4613 True .lol even Though I am one of those people that cut through others' yards I wouldn't sue anyone if I broke my leg. I would try to get myself up and out of there. No , robber or criminal should be able to sue because they shouldn't be there to begin with. Even if you shoot his kneecap and he is hobbled for life . The constitution does say we have a right to bear arms .
You know what is truly SHOCKING about this video? Is a parent actually has their child outside getting EXERCISE and not just plopping them in front of a video game.
I feel that the laws should be changed. There is to much stupid lawsuit tying up the court system. My opinion is to many lazy people who want money but don't want to have a honest job to get it. As long as no property is damaged, let kids have fun. At least he is not staring at a idiot box or playing on a phone. Wish I could ride a bike as graceful as him (I don't know if I could ride one ,it's been 15 years since I was on one and I was very woobely then.) . I wish we had more people like this home owner👍👍👍
This kid--every now and then, throughout his whole entire life--is going to look back on this moment and this person's kindness. Like, it's inevitable that this affects him in some way, certainly for the better. This is going to be a core memory for him. I had a neighbour like this when I was his age, he was incredible--like an extra dad for the whole neighbourhood, Rick was always just there. Thanks to this rad dude for showing a little kindness to a little person, and thanks Rick for doing the same for me all those years ago. Miss you dude.
That kid will remember that for the rest of his life and will probably do the same. A good guy doing his part for the community as a whole.
A gesture of kindness goes a long way. Thank you for making this world a better place, and for bringing joy to it.
Those kids will remember that driveway for the rest of their lives. And the kids won't mess with his house... ever. I speak from experience. Great story!
THis comment is the most honest, as these little hellions grow up into teenagers that rampage through the burbs vandalizing those houses where the assholes live! And leave the chill neighbors alone. Hilarious because it's true!
That brought tears to my eyes! I little extra love in the world is just what we need. You're a wonderful man!
This is what our world needs, big thanks to that dude, amazing what 10 minuets with a bit of chalk an do, if only all of our troubles could be sorted like this, top man!
Well, that's the parenting spirit..... i don't know if he's a father, but he surely "has it"!! the boy's having fun and learning to keep eyes on his course at the same time!!❤✌
Amazing how easy it is to bring a feeling of community to a neighbourhood- if only we had more shared space for fun things like this. Went from being a driveway that's empty 99% of the time to being an area of real value to many people in the community and especially to the little boy it was specially made for.
*I WOULDVE DREW A TRACK THAT LEADS INTO A HUGE BUMP IN THE DRIVEWAY, SO WHEN THE KID HITS IT, HE WILL FLY OVER HIS HANDLE-BARS AND CRACK HIS HEAD OPEN AND BLEED ALL OVER THE DRIVEWAY* 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@bringthepayne7561 awe thank you! I was just being honest, and I like blood!
Plus everyone is safer because the kid is off the road
An old lady in my neighborhood had a driveway with 4 perfect squares, we used it to play four square back in the day. She never came out and yelled at us for being on her property, she just let kids be kids and have fun. I miss those days.
Heart warming knowing there are good people out there. We need more people like this.
It was cool to watch the kid get better and better, eventually riding the whole track without his feet on the ground. Not only did he do a nice thing- he straight helped that kid develope better motor skills. Very touching. And watching the dude take his baby on a stroll in the track in the carriage was pretty funny to me and I don't know why. 😂
And develop kindness instead of anger at the guy who yells get off my property!!
He had his feet on the ground because he rode a bike without pedals in the beginning. Later he had a regular bike
I had a chuckle at the dad too. I feel like mum is just out of the shot asking what he's doing and he's like "its a guy thing. I cant explain it"
Happy to see a human not angry at just everyday things

The man that did this is an absolute gem with a huge heart. Not very many people would be so kind.
Now that’s what I call loving your neighbor. What a blessing a little time, love and chalk can be.
So that's what the bible was talking about. Gotta go chalk up my driveway
Not only is this heartfelt for all the adults to see, but the kids WILL remember this and in later years appreciate what kindness and being nice is, which will have a bigger impact on their adult lives and how they view and treat others, truly special.
Lol omg thise kids will NOT remember it as something special. Have milennials taught us nothing? Going behind them correcting their mistakes and congratulating them for everyday accomplishments because WE remember what it was like raised in a boomer dominated world was discouraging and hurtful. Belittled and ignored. And what do we get for it? Treated like "Well you're supposed to serve me. Well you don't have feelings. You never required me to see you have feelings too! ... OK boomer whatever. You raised us to be helpless.. Now quickly retire so I can have your long earned job with high responsibility but with no experience. You all owe us to retire asap. 🙄"
This kid will just grow up believing he can do what he wants. The first time someone says "Hey get off my car. Hey you put a dent in it!" He will act like the victim. And the world that now coddled everyone under 30 will scold the car owner for being mean to him "He's only 24 just a kid! How old are you, bully?! Yelling at kids. See him smiling? So much more mature than you! A kid! More mature than YOU who should know better!"

This brought tears to my eyes. The home owner is an awesome individual.
From this comes a lesson taught to the parents to relay the messages of a kind neighbor, sharing, reading and understanding the "rules of safety" the list goes on. I've never had children and I wept a bit. SOOOO COOOOOL
A good neighbor is priceless! The father next door, used to sit and, smoke his pipe while reading the paper and, listening to our major league baseball team. And I would come from next door and sit on his steps and, listen to the game and,he never said Don't you have anything else to do besides bother me. He was the definition of what a great neighbor should be. I will never forget that man.what a great human being he was 👍Always made me feel welcome.Taught me a lot about sports and life.
Literally made me cry. Be kind, spread love, and let kids know we appreciate them. When I hear the neighbors grandkids squealing in the pool next door- it brings a smile to my face.
This made you cry? I probably shouldn't tell you I single handedly resuscitated 29 dolphins and rolled a stranded humpback back in to the ocean.

Haha, more typical Americans. They get ao butthurt when they're called on it. Most other country's people would say "oh you're right! i wish this for all people, not just Americans!" It was a nice sentiment and I'm sure the exclusivity was unintensional. its simply a matter of forgetting that youtube is a global platform (almost, sorry commie countries), not an American one. Right?
That's what you gotta do. Had a little boy the other day knock on my door, he asked me if he can play with my son's basketball hoop. He must have been 6 or 7 years old, I asked him where did he live, he said down the block and his father told him to ask for my consent. I said it was fine a couple of minutes later, his dad was in front of my house shooting hoops with his son. I felt so good with my decision.
