1:43 Don't exercise? Haven't you seen Feng Zhu and Peter Han's biceps bro? Lifting and dynamic sketching go hand in hand. You need the muscular structure to support your sweeping line movements and provide maximum pen control
yeah i was like "LoL he even evolved onto a little feng, even started wearing similar clothing xD" i think to be even closer he just needed to have a black hat like feng uses all the time
that ending, when I graduated with a degree in 3D animation but spent the last 7 years trying to learn concept design in photoshop. then blender comes along :(
So funny man. I’ve followed feng zhu since 2010 and tried to stick to his advice. Got to learn the fundamentals. What made me laugh is that I have most of those books on the floor including the Scott Robinson books lol.
Been at it since 2011 also Ive improve a lot but wasted a lot of time indoors. I wished I got a college degree in Comp Sci instead and spent my time with family and make new friends. Theres a lot you can do in this life so manage your time. I only make art 3 hours a day sometimes more. I gotta live my life as why. Guys don’t draw 8 hours a day you can still improve even if you don’t. If you love art it will always be around life is more important than art.
@prince7 wick I did that already man. I got many other things to do now so 8 hours of art is impossible for me. Maybe when you are young and you’re still with your parents definitely. Plus you’ll miss out on a lot of things like I did if you draw 8 hours a day. All you get is a nice artwork at the end of the day. I still improve now with 3 hours. That’s the only time I got for art. I see your point though because that’s what comic book legend Jim Lee recommends, 8 hours.
When you say Comp Sci, I am assuming you want to be a programmer? That is also spending lots of times indoors, probably same amount of time commitment too. You don’t need a Comp Sci degree to be a programmer by the way. Just self teach.
@@mr.random8447 Yea I realize you spend lots of times indoors. They say it’s just more worthwhile than art since there’s more IT jobs available. I’m an IT also but never took comp sci. I just learn online. I did coding for websites and Webex. My parents is not entirely convince about me becoming artist. They said I gotta prove to them I can earn a living through art. I spent lots of time with art since 2011. I never really achieved much with it but I improved a lot. I use to draw all day then next thing you know I’m older but what can I say art is my passion. Computers is second. I should have got my degree in comp sci first then went after art. Just lost track of time drawing. Got too absorbed in it. I just manage my time better now. Nevertheless art is my happiness and I learned a lot. This vlogger went through what I did. I saw my friends progress and .graduate college and moved away. There’s no good art school where I live. I’m just saying live your life to the fullest and don’t be too absorbed in art. Just manage time well.
I don't know how i haven't commented on this vid yet, when I seen it over 20 times in the past months, and recommended it so many times, just pure comedy XD
I'm late to the party but what this is like a slap in the face XD soooo accurate I was not ready to get called out like this. PSSS I haven't drawn my 100 box rotations and I'm still on Chapter 4 of Scott Robertson's book but don't tell anyone
