    The reason why it is the 2nd most important star is because our apparent magnitude is measured relative to Vega. You should have mentioned that.

    ASMR!!! Tony Darnell has a soothing voice. I don't think he realised when he first started making these Night Sky Stellarium videos just how relaxing and soothing his voice is. ASMR is something many people have always had but couldn't quite put their finger on it. Some people don't like admitting they get these relaxing tingly feelings that can put you in a trance like state. Compare listening to Tony doing this versus his Hangouts, it's like listening to two different people.

      Deep Astronomy Hey Tony, Do you plan on continuing this podcast? I was really enjoying it and haven't seen a new episode in a month. I certainly hope you will. Also, a quick question on your closer "Keep looking up". Is that a nod to Jack Horkenheimer? He used to always say that at the end of Star Hustler.

    Revanant Awakening
    I have six different Vega Emblematic Colophons that fit into the stone perfectly. I found them in various images taken of Vega on 10.11.2019 between 0139 am and 0142 am.
    In each of the colophons below found in the UV stardust of Vega you can see that the devices have the same shape as the design on the rock tablet. There is a central shaft with a cross that has a shorter end then other does. There is also the flat base that has a tail curling up. There is also a central ball like piece.
    In all of the colophons the device arms constantly move to different locations but the overall device shaft stays in the same location. You will even notice that in the 0139 am artifact that the ball at the bottom of the tail that is attached to the tail is the same as the ball attached to the bottom cross in the rock tablet photo.
    Now how can such an exacting creation that I found in the UV light of Vega have been replicated on Earth between 1000-539 BCE when telescopes weren't even invented yet.
    The only answer? Alien life must have designed Babylon to represent the colophons found around Vega, that when design of the rocket tablet aligns precisely with light from one of the Vega devices that a UV interaction could take place. Babylon was a communication tower between Vega and Earth where ancient aliens used UV light to communicate back and forth between the planets from
    There is something definitely orbiting Vega that is not of Earth.

      I know, and I wish I had done that but because of the way I record these (using Snapz Pro X and a script) I end up driving Stellarium as I read the script, and too many button presses are distracting for me with too many pauses. So, I keep it simple.

    I think that there is a mistake here: The precession of the axes is much faster than one degree in 11,000 years.
    25,770 / 360 = 71.6 years.
    I think that it will be about 11,000 years until Vega returns to the north pole.

    • @deepastronomy
      @deepastronomy  7 років тому +2

      It's actually a little more complicated than that, you need to use spherical coordinates. The net angular motion is with respect to right ascension and declination and has a more complicated formula. Please look at the wikipedia page for Vega and check out footnote 71. Here is the link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vega#cite_note-majewski2006-73
      Now to be completely accurate I should have said that Vega has an angular motion of 1 degree every 11,000 years.

    • @ZetaFuzzMachine
      @ZetaFuzzMachine 7 років тому

      that is correct! I found that number (11000 year/deg.) quite off as well

    I like your videos, however, you are subscribed to a soon to be disproved theory that stars have a thermonuclear "furnace" in their cores. Unless our sun is a different type of star, this thermonuclear model of star formation is soon to be supplanted by the plasma-electromagnetic sun model where many of our direct observations are supporting this model. They have as yet not been able to explain why the surface of the sun is 5-10 thousand degrees and the corona is 1 million plus degrees. The PEM model explains this fairly succinctly. The SAFIRE Project and the Electric Universe model at Thunderbolts.info or electricuniverse.info are some sites to investigate. Thank you.
