He said that it was getting harder and harder to create new identities. I didn't believe he was immortal. You don't need to be immortal to figure that one out. Wireless light bulbs should be a standard by now. So should every appliance in our house holds. But the Elites wanna make sure we can be tracked by there Gauges that track how much electricity we use and make sure we're stuck on fossil fuel why they ride around in UAP's and know about renewing their own avatar so they live super long lives. They also probably have the technology to ship one mind to another body. Just like avatar the movie. And us working class our stuck here to be there money slaves. The education system keeps you dummied down. You gotta work really hard just to have a place you think you own. When In reality the "Banks" feel like they Own every possession you worked hard for. Understand the desires and wants have no end being in a constant cycle of wanting/needing for the next whatever, putting your happiness at some future point is futility. Yet this is the prison that no one speaks of. Life is now and has always been now, in the present moment enjoy the ups and downs until there is neither. The constant judgments that are all day every day of how this is not good enough, or this didn’t come out right rehearsing the same dialogue in your head without a solution deadens the mind to living in the moment. We are forced to live out a life of work, most of us do jobs we despise just to get by and it is our burden until retirement. We are already in a 60-70 year prison sentence the moment we are born as we have to go to school, then work until we are too old and grey to handle it, at that point our youth is wasted.

We are not forced into this lifestyle. Granted, we are programmed by society to live that way and feel we "MUST" follow our programming, but it isnt our only option. Many, many people opt to deprogram themselves and 'live off the grid' to one extent or another.
In fact the kids born after the year 2000 have opted out of the program. I always hear employers say the younger people today are lazy and dont want to work. The generation before them didnt buy into the 'American Dream' either and decided to *NOT* buy the big house, have the 2.3 kids and expensive cars that the marketers tell them they have to buy. Instead they are living in very small inexpensive apartments, working decent paying jobs with 'normal' hours and spending their money on vacations and travel.
Even though you dont think it is, it is still a choice. Some of us get it young and others dont get it until later in life...if at all.

Good because many of the patients were extremely abused; raped, beaten, over medicated, under funded, patients restrained for days causing them to piss and shit in their gowns, etc etc. Bad because the Good asylums offered long term care for those who truly needed it. Today, if you are chronically suicidal, or psychotic, they hospitalize you for 3 days up to 2 weeks (depending on what insurance you have) which has led to many many suicides, homicides, and of course, the homeless situation, which btw, was caused when they shut down the asylums, loading everyone onto buses then dumping them onto the big city streets. We need long term care for those chronically suicidal, or any of those who need it. Half of the homeless are moderately to severely mentally ill; schizophrenia, etc. Very sad! I guess it could be worse, Nazi Germany had a way for treating the mentally ill, the Salem witch hunts, etc.

Plus, you can die from illness or a broken heart etc, but you can't gain anything from something positive. Like you can't gain an extra life or a decade for something good happening but you can loose your life when something bad happens. Our world and universe has entropy and decay. Everything is always sliding in that direction automatically. So to make anything happen, create, maintain, save is all a battle. I love Schopenhaur. He honestly makes me laugh, when he isn't depressing me. He was self-honest - the most difficult and rare of human virtues. He loved animals. He was one of the very first Europeans to study Eastern thought and referred to the Upanishads as the consolation of his life. No matter how unflinchingly pessimistic life was,he stuck it out, because it was "all so fascinating!"

Hello, fellow-sufferers! You're still here. So am I. One day we won't be. And that's ok too.
We are existence. That is all we know. This cannot change. It will not always feel the same though.
If you want to transcend suffering, Eckhart Tolle is a very helpful person. Especially when it comes to turning off the noise within ourselves. Which does most of the heavy lifting for our daily suffering.
Suffering is the inner resistance to what is. Pain is a feeling. Suffering is a reaction. Oftentimes, pain creates suffering. We have little choice in that matter. It is only natural to resist something physically painful.
However, there is a difference between someone receiving a painful tattoo they have been looking forward to, and someone being tattooed against their will, as a means of torture. The tattoos could be identical. But the suffering is far worse for the one who resists it more.
I love you all. Resist as little as possible. And the suffering will follow.

The body is a disposable vehicle to navigate this existence. Life is an experience, a window of opportunity to participate in a group setting with limited sensual perception and learn from it. Some of us are here to learn specific lessons, others are here just for the experience, usually called NPC's (non-participating characters).
The conscious mind does not die, it is energy therefore cannot be created nor destroyed, just converted from one form (body) to another. If you feel that your existence is a version of the movie 'Groundhog Day', maybe it is and you have been coming here repeatedly to learn a lesson you are unwilling to learn. Introspection is the key out of this dilemma. There are always clues to what you need to learn to move on. Have the courage to look for those clues, usually some continually recurring PIA situation, and embrace it for the experience itself.
There is no *exalting meaning of life* other than learning from the experience. Think about it...Life itself is a terminal condition, meaning it has a beginning and an end. It is designed that way purposefully because the lessons to be learned can be done so in a short period of time, *IF* you choose to do so.
You are young, only 17 and you have the chance to learn this epiphany at the beginning of your journey, whereas I have learned it near the end of mine. There is no right or wrong in learning it, no woulda, coulda, shoulda; no time limits...just a dedication to learn those lessons no matter how many lives (experiences) it takes to do so.

There was actually a Sci-Fi novel back in the 80's with a similar premise, basically that the world is a prison for immortal 4th dimensional beings (think sort of like the Q, from Star Trek), where if you commit some crime you are sentenced to "life", in this case literally meaning "living a life", where you are born, age, die and then go back to your immortal existence hopefully learning humility or some other lesson. Depending on the severity of your crimes you can be forced to serve multiple "life" sentences and for the worst offenders you are stuck in basically a permanent loop of living one "life" after another forever.

@dogsarespecial42 I've thought the same. I have many thoughts / theories. One thing that really peeves me is the 5k to 12k year time line on ancient megalithic structures. I can't stand it. It's my opinion that there's been MANY technologically advanced civilizations on this earth before us. Yet Humanity just can't admit to theirselves that we're not the 1st, and also NOT the most advanced. The designs in which many of the stones are cut are done with Laser precision and some are cut at angles in which scientists can't figure out how it was done. Esp if primitive tools were used. The carvings in Egypt in the pyramids and top to bottom on obelisks appear to be done using stencils they're soo perfect and also Identical . We do this today with our technologically advanced equipment so please, how in the hell was this done using copper chisels and stones as hammers lmao!! I think NOT... The Ego is a terrible thing, also a major problem on this earth! Soo many ppl just can't admit things to themselves esp even when the truth is seemingly right in front of them! All I hear is where's the proof blah blah blah, but honestly, all you have to do is open your damn eyes and be honest with yourself! Another thing I find very strange, if we're all from this earth originally then why is it that between states, and continents we differ in huge ways, looks, skin colors, body types, and also speech accents. Language I can kinda understand . But accents, and looks are a big one. What I mean is when I see someone that's Russian or Ukraine. They have a certain look to them, kinda as Asian ppl do but to me it's very different.

@dogsarespecial42 I've never done the Ancestry Research. I feel like although interesting none of it truly matters because what truly matters is where our Souls come from, and there's no DNA testing a Soul! Infact Scientists cannot even explain the Soul or where it is.. Basically it's our consciousness, but soo much more! It's my ridiculously strong belief that my souls origin comes from someplace far away from here or even perhaps another Dimension! Here's the thing... I see this world very differently then most do, I also have never fit in Basically anywhere, friends for me have ALWAYS been very temporary and ppl end up not really liking me after some time passes.. It's not that I'm a bad person because I know I am not. I'm a very good person, respectful, Loyal, Loving, etc. But I believe what the problem is, it's my very Ora that ppl cannot handle. For example, if I'm around nothing but ppl with Dark Souls if they even have one can only handle my presence for soo long until the can no longer since I am a being of Light. I don't wish to sit here and talk about myself or seem as if I am boasting because I assure you I am not! But I'll introduce myself a bit to you, I've spent much time over the last few yrs getting to identify who I am, and understand myself better since all my life I had always felt lost, out of place, confused etc. I am an Introvert so I am uncomfortable in masses of ppl, I prefer being alone whenever possible, I took the Myers Briggs Personality test and made alot of sense to myself! I happen to have the Rarest Personality Type in the world. Roughly only 2% of the world's population has my Personality. It's called INFJ. I have a sister who is a few yrs younger then me and we are very alike, also look very alike, as it turned out she too is INFJ and she and I are both Virgos . I am what's called a Sigma Male, very unlike an Alpha Male. Based on much research I've done I believe I am a StarSeed from someplace else whom is Chosen by God, we are sent here to help others to try changing this world being it is a very Evil Place. But the Evil knows who we are well before we know ourselves so we end up living extremely difficult and painful lives, our lives are very manipulated by the Darkness so that we are kept held back, suppressed, kept from moving fwd and being able to carry out our given tasks inside Humanity. I've never agreed with this Society based on rules, Having to Grind our lives away for money to survive. It's all really just a control based reality and honestly a very sneaky hush hush form of slavery, we ALL are. Think about those in control or above us... Well how did they come to be in the first place?!. Why do ppl need leaders? Why not be our own leaders. I feel I could direct this world much better then any so called President ever has! And then there are the "Royal Families" they claim their Bloodlines are Special!! So what makes it Special?? And why is it soo very important for them to preserve their lineage?? Are they really even from this earth?? I mean seriously... They are very strange ppl and seemingly out of place! There's many many questions and things / facts on this Earth that are very obviously off! Anyway, it's been a nice chat with you, and these are just some things for you to think about.. ❤️✨️☝️

@dogsarespecial42 one more thing for you to think about.. Much of science has things that are based on best guess theory! This is a fact. Yes I am a fan of Ancient Aliens. The funny thing is much of what I've always said or felt ends up being said on the show. I believe pretty much everything they say to be Science Fact! I've been Seeing certain things and having certain experiences since I was a kid. Now being 47. But this past few yrs have absolutely been the most interesting for me. Like all the truth in this world has been poured out of a bottle. The war between Good & Evil is very real and at its all time high in our day. I've been personally attacked by the Evil many times. I've actually looked ppl directly into their eyes and could see it was something else looking back at me. Like the Devil attacking one of his Siblings being he Hates them and soo Jealous of them. It's because we have God inside of us. Earth Angel's, yet we are manipulated and made out to be toxic, bad ourselves. Soo much more I can say but it'll go on for days. Take care

Well, because personal truth is more important than happiness. And I agree with Schopenhauer's bleak view of the world. We have those short moments of joy, but the bigger picture is just really dark and miserable.

Read Freud's late book, "civilization and it's discontents". Once I read that the prison theory made a lot more sense. Schopenhauer and freud say very similar things but freud goes deeper into the how and why it is.

The gist of this theory, is essential to the religion of Muhammad who came with Islam 1400 years ago. He Said:
      "Life is a believer's prison, and a disbeliever's paradise."
Thats my view on it, but some people apparently view it as actual freedom, YOLO they say. Jeffrey Epstien comes to mind, just have sex with all the women you want, with no limit, no worry, live in the best mansions, eat the beat food.....
But for these people hell is almost inevitable and Allah knows best.

I once had this outlook on life in my early 20s. Our souls stuck in a 3 Dimensional world. Sent here because our soul was flawed. I will never forget the time I was just sitting with my dad having a conversation. He was eating a bag of chips like Doritos or something else generally unhealthy. I got this overwhelming feeling of sympathy, like our souls were trapped in these bodies that feel pain, and here was my father eating a bag of poison, in a sense. It was the saddest thought I ever had, and this feeling of sorrow for myself and everyone around me followed me for a long time.
As I got older I realized it was my choice how I wanted to perceive this existence. If you sit and think about the concept of existence itself enough, it can blow your mind. To me, this existence is so much better than nothing at all. I am willing to push through what my life has to give and realize that the chances I am even alive is incomprehensible. This world is absolutely incredible if you really sit and think about it. The perspective and awareness of the human mind can show you how absolutely beautiful this 3d world is, prison or not. A lot lately I picture myself if I were suddenly on my death bed. How many things I would still want to experience. How many things I got to feel, and how worth all the pain was. I choose to tackle pain, mental or physical. I show it how much stronger my mind is than it could ever be. And even if it wins a battle here and there, it will never win the war.
Life is perspective. Once you learn this and realize it is your own choice, you could be smiling every day, and lifting the people around you.

the more I ponder life, and the more perspectives (such as yours) I take in, I realize that we may all actually be parts of the same conscience. It used to baffle me that people don't think about the absurdity of life more, and the seemingly impossibility of it all, but, I also hardly ask people how they really feel about all this, chances are, they feel the same as you and I.
I'm not going to rant, I'm just happy to be here, it's all so magical, with suffering or not.
I hope you all have marvelous lives filled with highs and lows.
I hope you all realize it's temporary.
to end this little midnight semi drunken post, remember, it's all about love.

Perception is reality, but pain and suffering is also reality. You can only perceive pain as pain. There are definitely things here that you can put a positive spin on, but there are many more things here where this isn't possible. This is a prision. This doesn't mean you cannot experience joy . Everything here, even the most beautiful things here have the potential to cause great pain and suffering. From the most beautiful mountain vistas, to your newborn child . They can all cause pain and suffering. Whoever, or whatever created this realm created it with suffering in mind. This is a parasitic realm. We are infinite, there is more to this than we can possibly comprehend. I'm sure there are worse places to be and some much better......
