We are using DS 20 drills now with great results. There seems to be good chip control in a variety of materials and the drill body is extremely stable in a variety of conditions.
Pretty cool. I think the way it was edited on the last part that was drilled, tge drill rapids out to the face, and the coolant is shut off, then they show the 7xD and the part has no hole in it, like magic! Obviously it was edited, but I remember jobs on the lathe when coming to check on it and there was no hole there, and the drill was gone lol, but not for the same reasons. I really like the cutting tool innovations that Sandvic comes out with, I'd say they are at the forefront of other brands, keep it up
Thanks for the intro music that felt like it was going to blow-out my speakers. I wasn't expecting that. Apparently, neither was the cat. He's still hiding behind the couch.
around 20-30 RA for 5xD 2 inch drill for the previous generation .. and diameter is consitent soo pretty good but i dont know if its good enough for you ..
We've used a lot of these types of drills from many different manufacturers over the years, so I'm very familiar with there capabilities, I would need to see more but these do look pretty impressive
Hi, We have performed extensive testing with MDI as well, but in the cases shown using the ISO9766 shank was the best fit replacing existing drilling tools.
I mostly use sandvik stuff and they are certainly good but not really best at everything, iscar and seco and others have some real well made stuff that I prefer over sandvik for some jobs.
Prices for the CoroDrill DS20 will vary depending on diameter and length of the drill bodies. Comparing against CoroDrill 880 (where we have overlapping articles) drill bodies will increase by 3% for CoroDrill DS20 referring to list price.

Absolutely awesome tool. Unbeatable! There’s no other indexable drill at 7xD
Amazing but that sound makes me want to drill straight through my eardrums.
I like the edit at 2:00 switching to clean coolant-free view and back. Quite neat

When this recommendation (deep hole drilling) popped up in my notifications, this was not the video I was expecting...
but what did you expect to see on youtube?
you dont need this part in sentence - (deep hole drilling)
Hey, can we get the surface finish report on that long hole drill?

Very nice :) But why you performed every drilling test with an ISO9766 shank and not the new MDI?

God I love this sound
The sweet squeel of money being made.
Absolutely amazing thing!!!
Sandvik Coromant are the best for sure. Just super expensive! Even the inserts are expensive. Definitely not for the home gamer.
